Great place to take your family if you want a good American burger. My family heard alot from people that came from the Mid west about this chain and it loved up to the expectation! The service was fantastic and they were very helpful. There are two locations here in Greenville and both were great! We will visit this chain when we get back home. Returning to try the Cherry and Peaches add in was the best thing to do for giving another try at this place. So much better than before and was a delicious treat! Service is very friendly but there is a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes due to waiting for the order to process depending on how busy the restaurant is. So go if there is a flexible schedule and not in a hurry. Overall the food was great and I enjoyed the flavours of Cherry and Peaches together. The fruit was very fresh. IMO-It's the best fast food in town. Always clean in there, and they don't seem under staffed like other fast food places. Staff have always been super polite. I like the crispy chicken sandwich and the butter burger with cheese is good too. I'm pretty skeptical about what some of the better known chains add to their food, but Culver's tastes fresh and somehow healthier than the more well known chains (as healthy as fast food can be anyway). This is a great place for a small gathering especially when your party has 2 people on electric scooters celebrating a birthday! The service was great! Staff was very helpful and friendly! Even when I didn't receive my custard with everyone else order. No worries I asked an employee who happen to walk by and his response was "I'm sorry let me check on that for you"! Stopped by at 3:45 PM on a Friday afternoon and they were busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were able to order straight away. There were several people waiting on takeout orders. Quite a few tables had not been wiped down so it took a minute to find a clean table. The food came out fairly quickly. The server was extremely nice. They forgot to give me my vanilla shake. When I brought it to her attention, she got it immediately. The food was good. One thing I like about Culver's is they always have the sauces you want. The hubby asked for cocktail sauce and I asked for Malt vinegar. They had both. Had Men & Women's bathrooms. Only two stalls in the women's and one was out of order. During my stay at Greenville SC , I didn't find a better place , I didn't find a place I trust more and I didn't find more fresh, tasty and clean burger than Culver's !!! Happy polite employees will ask for your orders , ingredients are simple but you can create many different creations with those ingredients! Very clean dining hall! We decided to stop in for burgers and milkshakes around 7:30pm after finishing up at the baseball park. After waiting about 15 minutes in the stand-still drive through line, literally not moving( which is becoming more and more common lately at this restaurant), we decided to try our luck getting out of the line and going inside. I'm pretty confident the pictures speak for themselves, but what's not pictured are the multiple staff members walking right by these messes over and over to deliver food to tables and run food out to cars waiting in the drive through line, only to pass the mess again on the way back to the kitchen to pick back up on the social hour happening behind the counter. When we first entered the restaurant, we waited a few minutes before someone finally poked their head around the corner from the drive through line area to acknowledge us, and after finishing the last bite of food she just put in her mouth and the conversation she was deep in with other staff when we walked up, proceeded to come out to take our order. If I had to guess, there were maybe 10-12 staff who were visible from the ordering counter, including the kitchen staff, drive through staff, and "runners". Of those, maybe 6 or more were congregating at the drive through window having loud conversations amongst themselves and often laughing very loudly. We continued to hear them throughout the restaurant from the dining area as we ate our meal. On numerous occasions I watched staff walking in and out the main entrance (while wearing their meal prep gloves) to get a glimpse at the drive through line, which remained wrapped around the building from the time we bailed on it to the time we finished our meal and left the restaurant, still barely moving (I wonder why). Two different staff members were also witnessed grabbing a wet cloth to wipe down maybe 4 tables total (almost as if to only meet their assigned quota), continuing to ignore the trash all over the floors and in the self-service drink area. Fortunately for this visit, our food was good quality, however there were multiple items missing from our order when it was delivered to our table. It seems that over the past 6 months or so, this particular Culver's has gone downhill and fast. The service has dropped off tremendously from when it first opened, and it appears that it's primarily being run by teenagers. If you're looking for a good fast food burger or ice cream, this Culver's still delivers, but if you're looking for quality/efficient service and a clean restaurant, you may want to take your business elsewhere. read more

I'll start this by saying I'm a huge Culver's fan, probably going once a week to ours on Harrison Bridge Rd. I went to this one on Lauren's Rd a couple weeks ago around 3pm and I was appalled. First, the cashier had a bad cough, hacked all over her hands numerous times, then proceeded to touch the top of my cup and then hand me my table number. Since we have never been here before it was our first time visiting Culver's. Got home with our food, the order was right. I was blown away. The double deluxe cheeseburger I got was delicious it taste like they just took it off the grill nice charbroiled taste and the fries delicious, even when they are cold . I order from here often because they honestly have one of the best gluten-free buns of any restaurant. I usually say it's a "preference" versus an "allergy" because I like to have the whole sandwich put together. I prefer the cheese to melt to the bun, not the box. I like for there to be mayonnaise on the bun (they always forget to put a packet in the bag), and I'm always picking it up to-go so it's easier while I'm driving to have it already put together. Anyway, about 3 weeks ago (I debated awhile before leaving this review) I ordered and the girl taking my order left her mic on and you could hear her making fun of my order. She actually said "why would you prefer that". When I got to the window, which was open, I could hear that others had joined her in laughing at and making fun of my order. Now, I realize Culvers employ's teenagers and they often act like children, but this bothered me a lot. Maybe it shouldn't have, but I was so self conscious that once I decided to go there again I made my order an allergy (which it is) simply so I wouldn't be made fun of by the employees. All that to say, the GF bun is great, the employees (at this location at least), not so much. read more

I visited the location during a two month layoff of gluten and so I experienced their gluten free burger option. Right off the bat it was impressive that they asked if my gluten free request was for a medical reason or for a choice - meaning "did I have a serious allergy" which would have kicked in an entirely different and stringent protocol for the truly gluten (dangerous) intolerant. I was doing a doctor's suggested time out for gluten, so it was a choice. I received a separately wrapped gluten free bun (Udi) and it was not bad. We had heard that one of the Culver's founders or executives had a gluten, medically intolerant child and they take it seriously. They have a nice thick and juicy burger and no gluten containing fillers in it - so we were all good. The restaurant is clean and they have roaming servers to help keep it clean or get refills or take your trash to the can for you. Overall a good experience. I would think that this is a good option for someone who is gluten intolerant, or at least worthwhile seeing what you think within your own safety parameters. read more

Delish! We wanted something quick and easy, and I also had a BOGO coupon. This is a $5.09 value when purchasing the double ButterBurger. Two burgers and a large order of onion rings + tax were $8. The burgers were big, juicy and nicely wrapped in paper. The onion rings were made with real onions. When I'm craving something decadent, I'll definitely return for one of their custard creations. Culver's didn't come to Greenville until last fall, and prior to that, I don't think I had ever been to one of their locations. We've been dining at Culver's on Laurens Rd since they opened. They have a terrific menu, and the entire experience is definitely a step above other "fast food" style restaurants. Their claim to fame are their burgers, but there are other options, including chicken and even fish & shrimp dishes are available. Their sides are pretty good too, if you don't like fries, they also offer onion rings, broccoli, cole slaw, and these delicious cheese curds. They also have ice cream, you can get a cone, sundae or even a DQ blizzard style dessert. They also have pints of ice cream in a cooler if you just want to take one home after dinner. A word about this location- it is REALLY busy, which is a sign of their superior quality. If you're going to the drive thru, it's best to not be in a hurry. Kat and I prefer to just dine in, and it's a pleasant experience thanks to their staff. 10/10 recommend, if you've never been to culvers, you're missing out! read more

I haven't been to Culver's in quite awhile because there are none where I live. So I was looking forward to their delicious burgers that I have had in Indiana, Wisconsin and West Virginia. Well, this is the first time I have been disappointed. When I took my sandwich out of the bag the paper was super greasy and covered in ketchup from a leaking condiment package! I opened up the paper and found a soggy (greasy) bread that wasn't correctly toasted! The toasted bread is one of my favorite things. Fries were fine. Too much ice in my soda. Left with half a cup of ice. Service as far as drive thru and wait were fine. But I will not return to this location because of the burger. read more

EVERYTHING is wrong about this place. I normally go to their location on Woodruff, but this one is actually closer to me so I thought I would give it a try. REGRET is the first thing that pops into mind. When I pull up to the drive-thru there is only one other person in line. So not too busy. Give them my order and I am asked to repeat it 3x (ridiculous). At the end it was still missing an item. So I let him know that the side of Thousand Island dressing I ordered is still not showing up on your screen. He then apologized and said "okay a side of ranch dressing". I said "NO! Thousand Island dressing". He apologized and said "right okay..thousand island dressing". I pull up to the pay window only to be barked at by the woman taking the money. She yelled NAME!!! Not a "may I have the name on your order". Just NAME!!. She then asked me to repeat my order ( I swear I think this is the 7th time now). Although in the middle of me speaking, she cut me off and repeated what she had. She said there was a side salad on my order. I told her that was incorrect, I had a SIDE of thousand island dressing - no salad. She then said "oh yes, that is correct a side of thousand island dressing". So I pull off to the side and they bring my order a few minutes later and I drive off (BIG MISTAKE)! I notice about a block away that the shake doesn't even have a lid and has a spoon instead of a straw. So I tip the cup back to take a taste and it's a stupid plain chocolate shake. I ordered a PB chocolate with extra PB. SOOOO annoying. If I wanted a chocolate shake I would have ordered one. So then decide to just drink my sweet tea, which was warm, no ice and completely watered down. So now we are 0 for 2. Both of those went into the trash by the way. I get home to find THEY DID GIVE ME AND BILL ME FOR A SIDE SALAD!!!! Now I don't want to use the words complete and utter morons because that might be taking it a bit far, but all of the people that had anything to do with my order ( I am counting at least 3) do not care about this business or their jobs. They lack focus and skill and should probably get into a different line of work. The burger was definitely not as good as the Woodruff location. The whole experience was awful and a total waste of my (almost 20.00) money. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND SHOULD AVOID IT TOO UNLESS YOU LOVE FLUSHING YOUR MONEY DOWN THE TOILITE AND STILL WALKING AWAY HUNGRY. read more
