Whataburger was one of those joints I've read about online but never ate at cause there are none in my area. Well on my way home from the trip from hell guess what I saw? A Whataburger! Not wanting to miss this chance since god knows when I'd be in the area again, I decided to stop. As others have mentioned the layout of this store in baffling! It wasn't long that there was a back up right at the door. The menu selection wasn't bad but the taste... OY! I got some sort of jalapeno sauced burger but you'd never know it. I Ordered a large and a drink and it lot longer than ten min and I couldn't wait so I drove off!! This whatabuger so known to be slow!

Service has started to slip in the past few months. I know there is a lot going on, but other Whataburgers are keeping up with their usual stellar level of service. Not sure what's going on. Out of the last half dozen dine-in visits, I've had to go up to the counter twice and ask where our meal was as several customers that arrived after us already got their meals. Both times our order just seemed to disappear and we had to tell them what we ordered all over again. Curbside orders are taking 20-25 minutes to bring out despite the app saying 7-10 minutes. read more

I can't say I was too happy going here. I've had Whataburger in the past but the thing is I saw a grasshopper in the restaurant the size of a credit card. It was pretty big. That itself threw out any salvation of a good grade no matter how the great the food tasted. Try a different location. read more

I WILL be contacting Corporate offices about this location. Horrible floorplan, slow service. If more than two customers, the food line is in the bathroom line. Person in the red vest apparently was supposed to be manager, but didn't even know to make sure there was a till in the register. The employees don't seem to know what the extremely loud beeping is(fryer---over fried food). I ordered a burger with guacamole and they put it all on one half of the burger. The wait for our order was close to 10 minutes. One customer even up and left after placing their order and waiting until their lunch break was almost over. Add this to location that is difficult to get on and off Interstate 10, we will not be stopping at this Whataburger anytime soon. read more

This is the worst Whataburger I have ever been too. Shame on the management for the way this place is ran. My son and I stopped by after a morning of hunting and the place is dingy. I don't eat fast food hardly at all and after this experience I know part of the reason I don't. Any-who the tea was old and there were no lids for the cups. I ordered a sweet and spicy and when it came out it was cold. I mean the cheese wasn't even melted. I took it back to them and had them supposedly make a new one. Approximately 1:30 seconds later I had a greasy what looked like afterbirth on my tray. I was so greasy it dam near slipped out my hands. I took 3 bites and threw the shit away. Some of the staff that worked there also looked and acted like retards also. If I could of gave it a half star I would of! I'm sure there is a better place in Columbus to get a burger. read more

Lackluster, when zipping through town it has a nice strip of grass for my pooch to use as facilities. The inside facilities are clean as well. Really hard to mess up a Whatburger Jr, but this had scant meat, veggies, thrown together and not cut in half as requested, drink order requested should have had 3 drinks but that had to be requested 3 times while at the window causing traffic to back up behind us. When we arrived their was a long line, the cashier station is smack dab in front of the door. Very poor planning for crowds. Bad service I ordered online and my order took additional 25 mins when I arrived. I had to ask for everything lids for drinks straws etc and after I drove away I had no fork for a salad so had to turn around and go back ! Frustrating we will not go back and we love Whataburger ! read more

Possibly the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. My mom and I walked in and there was no line and multiple workers were behind the counter. None of them acknowledged us or said "we will be with you shortly." We waited five minutes or more until a sweet cashier came out of no where and finally took our order. One thing's for sure, you won't be lonely if you eat here. You'll have plenty of grasshoppers to keep you company (6 live, 4 dead), but the flies (9, by my count) aren't quite as friendly. You can always seek refuge in the restrooms, though, because it seems that even the insects can't tolerate them. We were on our way out of town Labor Day weekend and we normally stop by this location to grab a quick dinner. I know they get really busy on the weekends so I decided to order online when we were about 20 minutes away. Best idea ever. I was able to order online, customize each order, pay, and even choose our pickup time. We pulled in, they were extremely busy but I was able to walk right up to the counter and walk right out! When traveling back from Austin to Houston I stopped for lunch at the Columbus Whataburger. It was about 3 pm or so. The place was clean with a moderate number of customers. Despite that I got my food in good order (Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Onion Rings). I must say the onion rings were fresh and hot and very good. The sandwich on the other hand was not so much. It took me a few bites to realize that the chicken pattie (not sure is it a breast or not) was almost frozen! I had thought it was the sauce until I stuck my finger into the meat and discovered it to be very cold! As I said almost frozen. I talked to the manager about my meal and he did offer to remake my sandwich but by that point I was ready to get back on the road. My next trip I will be avoiding Whataburgers altogether since the one in La Grange also disappointed me and I am usually easy to please. (see my review on the La Grande Whataburger). The only reason this place gets two stars is because it's Whataburger. Otherwise, it would get one. I've often stopped here between San Antonio to Houston trips and every single time this place has let me down. The workers here are abrupt and most of the time just plain rude. They're slow and you can tell the workers here just are not happy people. By the time you get your food at the drive thru window your fries are soggy and your burger is medium warm. And, if you've ordered a drink with ice, you'll be lucky there is some still floating in it. read more
