Great bar! Welcoming ! 5 Star Food! Don't overcrowd it for us! But... come experience it for yourself read more

I had no idea this was possible. Our Frito pies were dry. As in mostly Fritos, some cheese and hardly any chili. We got a burger, meaty patty, but no seasoning, had the texture of a cafeteria patty that had been boiled. Go for drinks and pool! But do not go for food. read more

The only place in Sealy Texas that we found to have a local draft beer, a meal and listen to music all in one place. there's also a pool table and a few video game machines. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices reasonable. The place also has some interesting history with country music icons like George Strait. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Fun atmosphere here and great burgers! I recommend the jalapeño sourdough bread option for your bun! Great friendly service! read more

The staff is very friendly and it's a cute little bar. I don't eat bar food that often but we were starving and went to play some pool so we ordered a salad, pulled pork sandwich, and a mushroom cheeseburger which was actually delicious. Will for sure be going back read more

They changed owners and they took away the brisket and replaced it with pull beef. They changed distributors so a lot of their food items have changed. The sterling egg rolls that were my favorite but they also changed in flavor a lot, a little disappointing. Their chicken fried steak was bland and greasy the gravy tasted like flour. I'll give it some time for the new owners to settle down then give it another go. read more

Probably the only drinking place I could find in Sealy. Nevertheless it served its purpose which is alcohol on the cheap along with some cheap bar eats. Doesn't look like much on the outside or inside but haven't we learned you don't judge a book by its cover? My coworker and I were here every day sipping drinks and conversing about how the job brought us here. Locals frequent here and they have live music some nights or poker night so something for everyone. Bartenders are friendly. I'll admit I felt out of place but after I got my first drink, I felt right at home. I've got a feeling I'll be in Sealy for future work ventures which means I'll be back here to decompress after a hard days work. read more

Great atmosphere and good specials each night. I went on a Wednesday which was free pool day. Service was prompt and the crowd was friendly and inviting. I tried their combo app which had a good variety and portions and was fine for bar food, nothing amazing but nothing bad either. Their screwdrivers do come in a bottle which was a little surprising. I did not have one so I can't tell you how they were. I will go back again. read more

We stopped by one Sunday. I had a blast and the bartender was really nice. Great hangout place.

Yikes. Ok the location is kool. And atmosphere of bar is as well. Love the fact they have bands. Awesome. What makes a successful bar is customer service, Drinks and food... Drinks were awful. Food was terrible and I mean how can you mess up a burger? Kitchen closes at 730-8pm. Needs to be open later and better food. Bartenders were bored because of very little customer activity. read more

This place is great! Such an awesome hidden gem in Sealy. A building that is somewhat of a historical site. Over 100 years old this building now holds this cool bar. Cool outside vibe as well. Nice to stop and grab a drink while going on a day trip out if Houston. We grabbed a beer and left, but was still a great time! read more

Really cool music venue. The band, CC & Co. were entertaining and really rocked out later in the evening. The drinks were large and reasonably priced. The wait staff were very friendly. read more

Terrible service at this place. On steak night we asked the server the best choice and we had a good discussion. But after an hour with no food we called him over to ask, but he had completely forgotten our order We were disgusted with the bad service and walked out. The manager did comp our drinks, but we will never come back. Also the salad bar is bagged lettuce and grocery store bottled dressing. Awful. read more

Saddleback Saloon is one of my favorite places to go. Steak night (Tuesday) is absolutely fantastic! I have had friends come in from Kenney, Katy, Houston, and even Madisonville come in for steak night and most have been back multiple times. The ones that haven't been back YET are planning to come back. Good beer & liquor selection, and a good prices. Food and drink specials. The music genre rotates, but it is always good -- country, top 40, oldies, zydeco, etc. There's something different going on each night. There is a tremendous amount of history in the building -- a Clint Black music video, a couple of Hollywood movies, etc. If you want to go where the locals go, this is the place. Check out the Facebook page for the full schedule. read more

The bartenders were very sweet. The $5 cover charge wasn't much, but the band was quite loud and not one I was wanting to hear.

Shout-Out to Tom, Crystal and the crew. Food was awesome, atmosphere great. Sound system great. Had mucho fun. Thanks for featuring Psychedelic Cowboys. read more

What history this is old Saloon has the year built was 1860. Matt Damon and Kirk Douglas did movies downtown at the Saddleback Saloon, Sealy, Texas I am in awe. ......Good coffee very strong not my liking burgers are the real Texas charcoal broiled over a barbeque pit delicious but overall experiance is positive. There is an outdoor area where real cowboys come to drink beer, whiskey and a full bar. Photos of old west produce the feel and ambiance takes you back in time to the old west. How could anyone miss this nostalgic gem. As I entered the Saloon smell of rustic wood and aroma of whiskey and beer created a feeling of ghostly presence since many claimed the wild west saloon is haunted, ghostly apparitions have been seen here.Very country folk running this resturant bar mostly hamburgers, sandwiches potatoes chips of all kinds and bar menu items. A real authentic Texas saloon a must visit. I will always stop in on my way to Houston highly recommend. HAPPY TRAILS read more

Love the hometown-feel this place has! Bartender here is wonderful, made us feel like we belonged. Even though we are not from anywhere close to here. Music is great along with the food!! Plus, for me the no-smoking inside is the best. The outside patio is a great little place to hang out and smoke if you choose to. read more

Went here for lunch, only the bartender was working, he never brought us a menu, we had to get one ourselves from the bar. That's OK, but then he never came to take our order even though we told him we wanted to order lunch. A little, dingy and dirty. read more

This is the only "real" bar in town but its a great spot nonetheless. Bartenders are friendly, drinks are reasonably priced and good. Food is not that special but the atmosphere is good offering backgammon and pool Outside eating area is nice

The Food is always good, and the beer is always cold. If these walls could talk? They have great bands on Saturday nights, and an outside area for the guys and gals that like a cigar with their scotch. They folks are friendly and there is enough room for your birthday party. Great Bartenders and waitresses not fancy just comfortable. I hope to see your there. read more

While visiting family in Sealy , Saddleback was our nightly watering hole. They won me with their freezing cold beer and attentive bartenders. Friendly atmosphere and activities to join in ( or not) . I would have liked to enjoy their large outdoor space but the weather was unseasonably warm . Perhaps next time ... Thanks for the good time Saddleback read more

Refreshing little place in Sealy! We need more places like this now that Sealy is growing! We came and ordered a couple of drinks. Tasty! They've also got appetisers and sandwiches if your hungry. Start with a building that is almost 150 years old, and in good food and friendly service, and top it off with an old-fashioned bar setup, you've got Saddleback Saloon. We each tried the burgers and they were vey good - lots of veggies and well seasoned patties. If you aren't sure what you want to wash it down with, they will do a small flight for you. Finally, the service was incredibly friendly and laid back. We will stop here again next time we come through. read more

New bar in town. Arrived around lunch time. Pretty good atmosphere, music, neons, pool, shuffleboard, TV's, stage, etc. Decent craft beer variety, REK Honey Pils, Karbach Weekend Warrior, Huff Brewing, and a few more. Also have common domestics, full bar and some wines. Barmaid was nice. Ordered the special, Turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Bread was good, everything seamed fresh, but could have used a little more avocado and thick cut peppered bacon would have made it. Good overall. Seems like it will be a good addition to old downtown, will review after a night visit. Has the potential to be a good place or a dive, time will tell. read more
