During a Business trip I placed an order thru the Whataburger APP. The APP was easy to navigate and allowed to make to make adjustments to the meal items like, no cheese, type of cheese, condiments, large and small meals, etc. The 4 meals orders were made exactly the way they were placed in a very timely manner, upon arrival I called the store because had selected the spot in which the order was to taken out the car explaining I was on the way and had not arrived yet. I placed an order from Whataburger through Uber Eats, and there was clearly a disconnect between the restaurant and the app. Apparently, Whataburger hadn't received my order initially, which caused a delay. I patiently waited about 20 minutes, which honestly isn't a long time for them to get the order sorted out, so I wasn't upset about the wait itself. The issue came when I tried to add sauce to my order. Uber Eats didn't provide an option to add it, and support told me to call the restaurant directly. When I called, I was met with a very rude attitude from the employees. I was calm and polite, simply trying to ask about adding sauce, but before I could even finish my sentence, I was hung up on mid-conversation. I understand that third-party delivery apps can cause confusion and delays, but that doesn't excuse treating customers with disrespect. I was patient about the order delay, so being met with attitude and then hung up on was extremely disappointing. Basic courtesy would have gone a long way. read more

Growing up in Texas Whataburger was a weekend breakfast staple. Having moved from Texas in July of 2020 now any trip to Texas is not complete without a visit to Whataburger for breakfast at least once per trip and I am happy to say that this location has delivered time and time again when I've stopped by via both dining in and their drive-thru. My go-to breakfast favs include egg and cheese biscuit, egg sandwich, biscuit & gravy (no sausage), or their potato egg and cheese taquito. I love to add grilled onions to the taquito and one great thing I can add about this location is they always get my custom orders and item edits correct. I've never experienced any issues with their accuracy. Service has also always been fast and pleasant. Smiling faces inside the restaurant and at the window picking up my order. Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch and the place had a few other folks eating at various tables around us. The interior is what you'd expect from a fast food joint - didn't seem too clean, but it wasn't dirty either. Just kind of plain and ordinary overall. We got our food quite quickly after ordering and it was nice how they brought it out to us. I tried two of their sandwiches just to see how their variety was and I overall enjoyed the taste - they were good and given the price, it was a good deal. I thought the chicken was well fried and overall the sandwich had good flavor. The burger was classic and was a great meal, but it didn't stand out amongst other burger chains I've tried. This is the second Whataburger I've been to (the first one in Houston) within a week's period. I was thoroughly impressed by the service that we received. Interesting note that the cashier that took our order was the manager - though both times I was there, it was about 7am in the morning. This time, I knew exactly what I wanted and it was their limited time breakfast burger - which really should be a full time, permanent menu item, by the way. It comes with a jr. burger patty, cheese, hash brown, fried egg, and bacon. It also comes with their creamy pepper sauce, but I asked for it dry because I like my hash brown crispy. Looking at the picture, it looks like tater tots, but it's actually a whole hash brown that acts like a patty and they fried a fresh egg on top! I love love the burger (3.99) for just the sandwich at a whopping 670 calories. I'm sold. I also got the taquitos this time which basically are breakfast burritos with eggs, cheese and your choice of protein rolled up in a soft tortilla. Honestly wish we had one in the bay area but I suppose Jack in the Crack will be the closest thing that I can get to a Whataburger. Staff super friendly. Interior was extremely clean for a place opened 24/7. Large parking lot. They bring the sauces and napkins up to you. Spicy ketchup is the way to go here. I go to this particular location a lot because its the closest to my home and the employees are always great! I have been living in the part of Austin, TX and this is my closest location . This location is by far the most mess up's. 90% of the time and I mean this people 9 out of 10 times this place messes up my orders. The staff is usually in a bad mood and angry. I don't even bother calling anymore the managers never seem to get the mess up's under control.
