During a Business trip I placed an order thru the Whataburger APP. The APP was easy to navigate and allowed to make to make adjustments to the meal items like, no cheese, type of cheese, condiments, large and small meals, etc. The 4 meals orders were made exactly the way they were placed in a very timely manner, upon arrival I called the store because had selected the spot in which the order was to taken out the car explaining I was on the way and had not arrived yet. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating stating not a problem and they would hold the order until I arrived. Great experience and as always great food!! read more

They gave my partner and I the wrong order, and then when we asked for our correct order, they didn't even give us the complete order. I have no idea how people as incompetent as the workers here exist! read more

Service was nice, but the building looks run down. They burnt the biscuit for the honey butter chicken biscuit. I love Whataburger, but this location's biscuits were hard and overdone. In lighter news, a friendly customer left me a duck. So their customer base is nice here! read more

I placed an order from Whataburger through Uber Eats, and there was clearly a disconnect between the restaurant and the app. Apparently, Whataburger hadn't received my order initially, which caused a delay. I patiently waited about 20 minutes, which honestly isn't a long time for them to get the order sorted out, so I wasn't upset about the wait itself. The issue came when I tried to add sauce to my order. Uber Eats didn't provide an option to add it, and support told me to call the restaurant directly. When I called, I was met with a very rude attitude from the employees. I was calm and polite, simply trying to ask about adding sauce, but before I could even finish my sentence, I was hung up on mid-conversation. I understand that third-party delivery apps can cause confusion and delays, but that doesn't excuse treating customers with disrespect. I was patient about the order delay, so being met with attitude and then hung up on was extremely disappointing. Basic courtesy would have gone a long way. read more

This the most sorry whataburger!! Never made my order right. When I ask for refund they don't want to give that up. I'm done not paying 10 dollars for you to mess my ish up! I asked for nothing on the burger I get onion smh I'm done for today would rather starve read more

Growing up in Texas Whataburger was a weekend breakfast staple. Having moved from Texas in July of 2020 now any trip to Texas is not complete without a visit to Whataburger for breakfast at least once per trip and I am happy to say that this location has delivered time and time again when I've stopped by via both dining in and their drive-thru. My go-to breakfast favs include egg and cheese biscuit, egg sandwich, biscuit & gravy (no sausage), or their potato egg and cheese taquito. I love to add grilled onions to the taquito and one great thing I can add about this location is they always get my custom orders and item edits correct. I've never experienced any issues with their accuracy. Service has also always been fast and pleasant. Smiling faces inside the restaurant and at the window picking up my order. Short, sweet, and simple. This location delivers what one has come to expect from this Texas institution. See ya next visit. read more

I got a double whataburger from this establishment and I came to try it for the first time because I am visiting from California and the food was very good, but I couldn't stand, but to see this bigger short lady push around the older gentleman by the name of Robert. He seems to just be starting at this establishment and I can see from a customer's view point that she's going a bit too hard on him. I can't imagine behind closed doors. She should have a more nice genuine tone when she speaks to her employees, more specifically to Robert. Felt bad for him knowing he's working at this establishment. read more

Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch and the place had a few other folks eating at various tables around us. The interior is what you'd expect from a fast food joint - didn't seem too clean, but it wasn't dirty either. Just kind of plain and ordinary overall. We got our food quite quickly after ordering and it was nice how they brought it out to us. I tried two of their sandwiches just to see how their variety was and I overall enjoyed the taste - they were good and given the price, it was a good deal. I thought the chicken was well fried and overall the sandwich had good flavor. The burger was classic and was a great meal, but it didn't stand out amongst other burger chains I've tried. Overall, I found this spot to be pretty solid and a good representation of Whataburger. If you're looking for great portions and fast food, this is the place to go! read more

5 times in the past three months - online and in person they have completely botched my order. not only did they just not even look, i payed over $50 each time for the meals. they don't CARE. THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK. Tonight, i sat for 35 minutes, 7 cars behind me got their food before i did, i ordered ONE burger and ONE MEAL, and then got sexually HARRASSED by the guy serving my order. and when i told him I wasn't single & my food was wrong he told me to go fuck off?????? I seriously can't fucking stand this buisness, at any location, y'all are the walmart of fast food and carry the worst name for it. I'm so tired of it pretending to be "normal". This is mattress firm level. sell outs that enable and encourage your employees to be pieces of shit. I've watched from highschool, the way they allowed and encouraged the behavior, and here we are, 10+ years later. Sincerely, hope nothing but the worst for this specific establishment, but for all of whataburger in general. idk why i've given yall so many chances when you have never once made it up. You're lucky you're the only place open, i don't think most would want to give you're fuck ass employees a dime if they where dying on go fund me. fuck you read more

Whataburger - a fast food staple for Texans and often compared to In N Out (which is primarily based in California). In N Out and Whataburger meets in Texas and you Texans get the benefit of both! For those unfamiliar with the comparisons; here are some: Similarities- -Extra veggies - no charge (just like In N Out) -both have Burgers, fries, coffee, and shakes! Differences- -Whataburger has spicy ketchup as an optional condiment. They put mustard in their burgers. Their lettuce is chopped which can get messy when eating. Their patties are thicker and don't fall apart like In N Out. When we left, an employee wished us a good day and that is super rare even at a dine-in restaurant. When talking to locals, Whataburger does have a following -Options: there are far more choices at Whataburger. A) There are 3 size options for fries. B) salad option available C) breakfast option available D) they have apples, too?!? -Whataburger has a rewards program/ app. Wished In N Out has this. -Hours: This particular location is open 24/7. Have not heard of any In N Out which opens 24/7. Would definitely recommend travelers try a local staple! It didn't disappoint. Love their fries over In N Out read more

This place purely sucked. I got a double plain and I specifically asked " does it come with 2 slices of cheese?" He said yes. Then my son ordered a plain cheeseburger, yes I said plain CHEESEburger. We sat down. We got our stuff and there was not a slice of cheese on either. I said "you got the order wrong" he said no, we got it right. I stared in shock and told him to go away. The place smelled like poo. Total poo. I also said can I get it plain. They put everything in their frickn inventory on it. NEVER GO HERE. my son also has food poisoning. The meat looked un cooked I also brought that up and the cook said it was fine. Me and my son were on a road trip so we hadn't Eaten anything all day (my son is 16 so it's ok and he has a very small appetite) That was the only place we went to. He got food poisoning he was throwing up everywhere. Their hamburgers looked like someone brought a car and ran them over before serving. What the hell whataburger. This is not really any different than an other burger place but it is good. I got a burger with mustard and ketchup and fries. It was good and the fries and burger were not greasy. The person in the drive through was not very nice so instead we just turned around and went inside. The service inside was okay. The inside of the restaurant was dirty. The floors were wet. This is the second Whataburger I've been to (the first one in Houston) within a week's period. I was thoroughly impressed by the service that we received. Interesting note that the cashier that took our order was the manager - though both times I was there, it was about 7am in the morning. Greeted with a friendly smile and let me know that they're ready to take my order whenever I was. This time, I knew exactly what I wanted and it was their limited time breakfast burger - which really should be a full time, permanent menu item, by the way. It comes with a jr. burger patty, cheese, hash brown, fried egg, and bacon. It also comes with their creamy pepper sauce, but I asked for it dry because I like my hash brown crispy. Looking at the picture, it looks like tater tots, but it's actually a whole hash brown that acts like a patty and they fried a fresh egg on top! I love love the burger (3.99) for just the sandwich at a whopping 670 calories. I'm sold. I also got the taquitos this time which basically are breakfast burritos with eggs, cheese and your choice of protein rolled up in a soft tortilla. Honestly wish we had one in the bay area but I suppose Jack in the Crack will be the closest thing that I can get to a Whataburger. Staff super friendly. Interior was extremely clean for a place opened 24/7. Large parking lot. They bring the sauces and napkins up to you. Spicy ketchup is the way to go here. Oh, make sure you download the Whataburger app because you never know what rewards you might get, even if you're there for a short trip, you might end up coming back. read more

Place an "pick up inside" order and all the doors are LOCKED? Don't understand why the app is even existing. Have rewards I have earned that aren't even accepted because I have to go through the drive thru due to my pick up order not being valid. I cannot wrap my head around why this fast food chain is so popular. We've been here about four times and the only thing I can say with full certainty is that it is consistent- Consistent with great customer service but absolutely terrible food. It's often lukewarm, very sloppily put together and tasteless. I really want to love Whataburger, but sadly I don't think that's going to happen, we've been to about 5 different locations and they are all lacking. read more

We waited 35 minutes for food. It was fine but the bathrooms had poop all over, there was standing water in the floor. The music was too loud we couldn't hear each other. Wow! I was pretty impressed! My first time to a Whataburger and it was delicious! I was nervous reading all the reviews and almost didn't come, but so glad I did!! Food was hot and tasted so good! I got the Mushroom burger, lots of mushrooms and cheese, the meat was tender and so flavorful the bun was soft, the onion rings and fries were hot and fresh! Service was quick and friendly ! Mari is the sweetest drive thru person I've ever had contact with. A pleasant end to a not so pleasant night. She was great!!

very rude and unwelcoming. Plus they somehow mess up every order while never being busy and then do not care to try and fix it.

Another bad experience at this location. I did not get what I ordered. Whatever you do do not ask for any alterations or substitutions because they don't know how to handle it and they screwed up and gave me a lot less food than what I asked for. I will never go there again I'm really getting tired of the bad service in this area read more

My husband recently went through the drive thru to get the Sweet n Spicy Bacon Burger and came all the way home only to realize it was an entirely different burger. He left to get the right order and came back home only to find that the sweet n spicy sauce was STILL missing. Needless to say he's not very happy with the service especially considering how expensive the burger is to begin with. If you're going to charge that much for a burger, it needs to have everything that's promised. That should go unsaid. $9-$10 for a meal that's not even right is ridiculous. read more

I hate rating fast food places because in my opinion, you get what you pay for. Ive loved whataburger since childhood. A staple in my fast food runs. But this location is horrible. my last several experiences have had me waiting in the drive thru line for an hour for a single order. Not only did I not get my entire order this last time , (They said the shake machine needed to thaw out) and after waiting for 5-7 more minutes after being in line for an hour I finally told them not to worry about it and drove off. cold fries. a cold chicken strip sandwich and no chocolate shake just ruins an evening when all you wanted to do was eat.......and thats after waiting that hour in line. read more

I feel weird rating a fast food restaurant because in my opinion, you get what you pay for, but this particular Whataburger just is not good. I typically love Whataburger (the chain) and have eaten here since childhood, but every time I eat at this location the burger I receive is cold and the fries are also cold and not crispy. Also, they take 5-10 minutes per car. The drive thru line took 40 minutes on a Tuesday...not fast whatsoever. If you are looking for a true Whataburger experience in Texas, I highly recommend a different location. read more

I always come here whenever I am craving burgers and fries. And lemme tell you, I haven't been disappointed. They make the FRESHEST fast food ever , and granted sometimes it takes a while, but that's a small price to pay for fresh hot food. I had no problems with this specific location and I am always willing to drive extra miles for this awesome food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The employees were super nice and accommodating. They deserved to get bonuses but specifically, higher wages. Seriously the food is THAT on point. They need to get rewarded for their awesomeness!!!!! read more

September 20,2023 - waited 35 minutes. Drive through. Had my order wrong , went inside , had to repeat my order over 5 times . Not until another 20 minutes pass I went to the counter asking for my order . It was not made , and they asked me again what I ordered. Then it was made. Not exaggerating. Skip this location. I dont know what it is about Whataburger that I love so much. I know its just a simple hamburger and onions rings but it makes me happy. When I have Whataburger something inside me lights up.. I go to this particular location a lot because its the closest to my home and the employees are always great! I really respect how hard they work and how fast they seem to be able to turn out such quality food. There was one instance where my food was slightly slow coming out. When I did get the food they had upgraded my onion ring order to a large from a small to thank me for being patient. I know its just fast food but its seriously good fast food and great service! What-a-burger!!! Seriously who does not love this place! This particular location is right on interstate 35 so it tends to pick up some characters. If you are ever bored and want to people watch go here between 2-4 am ... oh another brilliant thing about whataburger is the reliability of them being open .... 24 hours!! This is perfect for my odd schedule when I am craving a delicious double cheeseburger. I have to say for being a fast food restaurant and all whataburger is pretty fresh with their ingredients. You can also get whatever you want here any way you want it. That is one of their things ... if you want your bun to be wheat on top and white on bottom they will do that! And who doesn't like those cool stickers they put on your special order so you know it is yours?! I also love a late breakfast sandwich here every now and then or a cinnamon roll heated ... yummy!! This location is great too because of the people .... The cop that is always there, all the people in the late night hours and of course the employees. The employees at this location work hard and do a great job! I read more

Now let me start by saying I love Whataburger as a company. Had it not been for Whataburger, who knows what junk I would have been fed growing up. You can say Whataburger(s) (in Mcallen, Mission, Edinburg) were a big part of my meals growing up. For me its a home type of restaurant, since I have had it so much. However this location. I have been living in the part of Austin, TX and this is my closest location . This location is by far the most mess up's. 90% of the time and I mean this people 9 out of 10 times this place messes up my orders. The staff is usually in a bad mood and angry. I don't even bother calling anymore the managers never seem to get the mess up's under control.
