Mighty fine is a pretty darn good burger. The Kringle fries are also delicious. I had an off the menu item called the piggy back. It's a 1/2 pound patty and a 1/4 pound patty together. The "Beast" two half pound burgers tooo much for me with fries and a drink. I love the hand washing machine and the restaurant is always clean and there is plenty of seating for groups. The drink station is nice with sweet and unsweetened tea and all the sodas. My group had three people get shakes and they raved how great they were. Absolutely disgusting, low-level, standardLESS, inedible! Buns were hard, patties were stiff, cheese was congealed! Fries tasted as if they were prepared in old oil. Flavorless and gross! Both burger and fries were lukewarm/cold. I called the store and the manager immediately blamed it on the time that it took my Dasher to get the food to me EVEN THOUGH the food was delivered relatively quickly. Lucky me! It's my birth month so they sent me a five dollar off coupon. I popped in and got a junior cheeseburger with the works. It was brought to my table within just a few minutes. It was cooked perfectly. :) They have two video games that are free of charge. A family came in and three boys made a beeline to them. The sweet youngest brother didn't get to play. I went to Mighty Fine Burgers for take out and ordered a Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a side of Fresh Cut Crinkle Fries. There was no line where and was quickly helped. I was provided with a tracker and sat down to wait. This is the place where the men's room has a one-way mirror. It's a lot funner and safer than other places where when the door is opened patrons can see guys peeing. It did not take long for my order to be ready and brought to where I was sitting. When I arrived at home I opened up my package to see a big chicken sandwich where the chicken was sticking out of it. The fries were good as always and even though not provided with ketchup I had plenty of small packets at home gathered from previous food deliveries. It's been a couple years since I've been here. It's still good but not the usual great. Onion rings were cold. Patty cooked more than I recall. When asking for 1/2 white it came on the side? To spread with what utensil? Most annoying was the cleanliness. The tables were about 20% occupied. The available tables had food (lettuce pieces, crumbles from fries), bits of straw wrapper garbage. Little bits everywhere. Drink rings too. We found 3 chairs that did not have previous guests residue and sat down. I mentioned the lack of cleanliness to the person delivering a food. He apologized and about 5 minutes later he had a tiny wipe and was half heartedly wiping only a few tables. When done, the crumbs and lettuce bits were still there but the partial straw wrapper was not. After this light "cleaning" of 2-3 partial tables he disappeared. My son explained it by saying "well, it's a hamburger joint." I said, " no this is Mighty Fine" and it should be better than the fast food places... so 3 stars largely due to lack of cleanliness. read more

And damn that was a MIGHTY FINE BURGER ...It was indeed fresh, cheese was a melty, bun to meat ration was good. For the side's I ordered the onion rings which were the perfect compliment The wife ordered 1/4lb with the chili-cheese fries...I was a bit disappointed with the chili-cheese fries...they didn't seem as fresh ...seemed like they were heated up and sitting there for a minute...but they tasted good...just wish they had that "cheese pull" with the chili and fries. The Lady decided that she wanted a burger, I wanted something different, so that means she wins. :-) It was my first time there and the Lady's second time. The ordering process was a little confusing with all the different variations, but we rode it out. As she was getting the iced tea, I watched the meat guy hand forming the patties. We both got 1/2 pounders, with mayo, lettuce, pickle, and tomato, along with onion rings and tea. I was going to get cheese and jalapenos, but I wanted to try the basic burger first. We ordered both cooked medium. The burgers were cooked exactly as we wanted,medium, constructed correctly, service on point as they were brought to the table. The tables were a bit difficult to navigate through, but as veterans of many mess halls, go to the end at the wall and then you won't have hoards of people bumping into your chair to get a seat at the table. However, you have that opportunity yourself when you leave. All in all it was good. The burger were juicy, but the onion rings, while lightly battered were good but very greasy. The 1/2 pound with a side is pretty substantial, but I liked the thick meat. The place was clean, the staff worked hard. Why 3 and not 4 stars? Well it just didn't hit the sweet spot. That may be cured with a revisit and different approach. I think next time, with Jalapenos, putting down plenty of napkins for the onion rings to rest just might do the trick. Also, not going at the lunch rush may actually be the ticket. A bib would also be a good idea. :-) read more
