I've been to this location many times. Usually a good experience. Bought a couple fruit trees from this exact locations 10 years ago and think about this store every time I eat fruit from them. They are already large and I feel like they turn a house into a home. A place you really enjoy much more. I am big into landscaping. I like mature, beautiful landscape. Kitchens and paint I'm less into - I feel like these things no matter what they are within 5 or 10 years they are old, outdated and in need of redoing. The same can't be said about trees - they only get better and more valuable with age. Had a realtor once tell me that a 5 or 10 year old kitchen is just as bad as a 50 year old kitchen. Neither sells - and with trends ever changing - I wouldn't get too hung up with it. I know some friends that put so much effort into what paint on their walls looks like or what brand cabinets they have. Then they want the CHEAPEST car possible to put their wife and kids in. I just don't get it. Was a bummer today. I saw the Christmas tree lot here all closed and some of the trees inside I wanted to take a closer look at. Good customer service means prioritizing helping customers in the store over organizing shelves. While I eventually found the hardware I needed on my own, the encounter left a really bad impression. A good rule of thumb is to buy tools for the first time that are not the best or most expensive. Chances are you will use it once or lose it before it breaks. Interestingly enough even if you buy a low price tool here they have a great return policy or warranty policy. I've only used it twice - once for a polisher and another time for a saw - both that died. If I remember right with my phone number they pulled up the receipt and gave me another at no cost. I don't know their exact warranty policy or how long it lasts. Every time I come in its quick at the register which I like.

We had 2 questions , how much was it and did it come in other finishes. The "faucet guy" brought us over to the customer service counter and stated to look up the item we were interested in buying. He had just started his query when another employee walked up and "faucet guy" stopped working on our question and got into a long discussion about what he wanted. The 2nd guy left and the "faucet guy went back to his computer to answer our question. Two minutes later another employee asked him for help on her computer. "Faucet guy" stopped helping us and went over to help his coworker. After several minutes he returned to us but was again interrupted by his coworker for hep with another customer. Once again he stopped helping us and went to her assistance. Now 15 minutes had passed and we still had no answer to our questions. We finally decided to heck with it and left. "Faucet guy" was still busy helping his associate with her customer. We went home found what we wanted on line at Amazon, got it cheaper and had it show up in 24 hours. They also gave away free snow cones, and per the norm, free popcorn. We were there for close to 2 hours, and still I had to pull my kids away when it was time to leave. All I can say it THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to whomever at Goodman's does all the hard work to put this on, and whomever approves the check to pay for it. The community of parents and their kids who enjoyed it today are very, very grateful.
