Parking is inside a garage and is validated for 2 hours. When you enter the cafe scan the QR code located on the table and enter your car details. When I walked in around 12:35pm on a Monday, there was no line. The seating area, which is shared with the apartment/hotel lobby, had a few people working, and a few others were sitting on the outside patio. It was very quiet inside, almost like a library, which was unexpected but would be welcomed if I was trying to get work done! The service was so-so. I was greeted when I walked in, but it wasn't a particularly warm or friendly interaction, though it kind of fit the vibe of the space. However, I was very impressed with their selection of seasonal drinks and happy to see some unique options to choose from. I decided to go with the Miss Jaunice, which is a Jamaican inspired carrot punch with milk and espresso for $6.75. I forgot to ask for a plant-based milk option and was surprised the barista didn't confirm if regular milk was okay. While it's ultimately my responsibility, usually baristas ask if I forget to specify, so it's good to know that's not a guarantee. Just as a heads up, oat milk and macadamia nut milk are an extra $1. Initially, I enjoyed the flavor of the drink and was happy I tried something different, but after drinking half the cup, I got tired of the taste. I personally felt like it needed something creamier, and I think oat milk with a little vanilla would have been the perfect addition. I would definitely return to try some of their other seasonal drinks, like the HVR or the pumpkin spice latte (they use real pumpkin), and I'll plan on staying awhile to get some work done or read a book since it's such a chill space.

The coffee shop had a very cozy feel to it, kind of like you're right at home. The folks who work there are really awesome too, good upbeat spirits. My friend and I ordered an iced coffee and a chai tea latte for our drinks, and for our food we ordered the avocado toast, and an everything bagel with cream cheese and blackberry jam. The bagel was just ok but the blackberry jam was delicious. The avocado toast was perfect!!! The balsamic drizzle on top was the perfect touch. I would absolutely return here, it really is a great place to get work done, Wi-Fi is free and it's a great atmosphere. I also want to try more items on their menu. Sidenote, parking is really convenient (and free for anyone unfamiliar with the area)- I was able to snag street parking, but there is a parking lot across from the shop.

I didn't see any pastries in the display case so if you want food you probably need to get there early. They do offer seasonal flavor specials so I went with the black sesame latte with oat milk ($6.75). The service was friendly! My drink came out much faster than expected, no complaints at all, I was just surprised in a good way. The coffee was smooth with zero bitter taste and the black sesame provided a rich creamy flavor (don't forget to stir your drink so you get the full profile). Parking was easy as well; they have a free lot right next to the building with and it was packed but still had several open spots. Before leaving I noticed their selection of retail coffee beans, including a special Atlien (Outkast) roast that they have right now. Definitely check them out and support this small business.

The staff allowed me to ask lots of questions, which was greatly appreciated. The latte was smooth and I really enjoyed it.
