I've been doing coffee all around Atlanta and prevail has moved to the top spot so far. Plenty of seating 2hr complementary parking in the parking deck and super friendly staff who helped me to make a drink selection with this being my first time. The HRV (honey vanilla raspberry) was great and wasn't overly sweet.
Similar to the North Druid hills location, this is located in the lobby of an apartment complex. Its cozy and gives you a great place to work, but parking is limited. This shop has more merch than the other location, but neither have very many food options. The coffee is good and worth coming back for. Very nice staff, they were quick and professional.
Located in the lobby of Sentral (an apartment building), there is comfortable seating inside and outside on the covered patio. it is a lovely space to imbibe and read, work or just chill. Parking is validated for 2hours (and 20 minutes) so no need to rush. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte which was good but not great. Will probably try a different drink next time. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

However, I must admit it had a light flavor. My friend was not crazy about the drink. However, I loved it and would order it again. Just as a heads up, they have free parking out front, as well as an attached deck. I was told that if you park in the deck they do validate parking. Id in the area, I think you should give them a try!

The shop itself is small, but because it is conjoined with the apartment there's plenty of seating throughout. There's even a library aesthetic lounge area located in the back around their mail room. Note: I only noticed outlets in the lounge area if you're looking to do some computer work during your stay. Also free WiFi! As for their coffee, I have tried the HVR (Honey Raspberry Vanilla) Latte, Fig latte, and Alabama Stinger (cold) - all three part of their signature drinks. My favorite is the Fig Latte since I feel like the flavor really comes through every time. The staff has always been friendly and I love their taste in music.
Tried this place a second time because the owner so kindly sent me a gift card to give them another chance after my last experience was not great. Honestly, this time was actually great! I got the raspberry vanilla honey latte with oat milk and it was delicious. I'm not sure if I got macadamia milk last time and it threw it off or it was just an off day in general, but I'm really glad I gave this another try because now I will be back. Thanks management for the gift card because I probably wouldn't have been back if so, and now I plan to be!

The space is great and the coffee drinks are creative and delicious. There are a reasonable number of outlets and some big windows to work near. However, the music is SO loud and SO high frequency. It sounds like you're at a club! My partner and I were having heart palpitations haha! I can usually just be int eh zone, but it was a lot! Not bad music by any means but super loud and super high strung for a coffee house. It was very distracting and hard to get anything done without noise-cancelling headphones. We were hesitant to ask them to turn it down because the barista was vibing at clurrrbbb prevail! There is street parking. To work for 2 hours, we paid $4.50/2 hours of street parking and then almost $8 for a latte. I do recommend the "Alabama Stinger" (iced shaken honey latte). In other words, totally stop by for a drink, but maybe don't plan to sit and stay the afternoon unless you bring those noise cancelling headphones all charged up.

The menu is difficult to read and doesn't list prices. I decided to order their 16oz Honey Vanilla Raspberry Latte and Raspberry Cheese Danish which came out to be $11. The latte wasn't the sweetest, but it had enough sweetness for me. The danish was yummy! Prevail isn't the easiest to find, as it's part of an apartment building. It costs to park, but they'll validate your ticket up to 2 hours free.
Prevail Coffee is another welcome addition to the West Midtown coffee scene! The interior is gorgeous as it is attached to Prevail Union. There is also free parking in the deck - which is rare in the area now. They're super dog friendly, although dogs aren't allowed while sitting indoors. You can place your order with dog in tow, though, and take your pup to some of the nice outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee. They sometimes offer dog treats to your pup, too! I've tried the specialty drinks such as the HVR (honey vanilla raspberry), the Alabama Stinger and the Fig Latte as well as some seasonal drinks like the iced lavender latte with butterfly pea flower foam. My go-to is definitely the Alabama Stinger, which is similar to a iced shaken espresso but the HVR and Fig lattes are great, too. I've tried some of their pastries but my favorite is when they have Hero Donuts on Saturdays. Prevail is definitely my go-to coffee shop when I'm in the West Midtown area! Can't wait to see what seasonal specialties they have next!

Whenever I want to have a chat with a friend, or read a book Prevail is an awesome place to be.

There's also some comfortable seats. From the outside it's unassuming because of the building. It looks like some kind of apartments, and there's some office space. This can be hard to find if you don't know where. Cool decor. The place seems upscale but the prices aren't ridiculously expensive. I came in while heading to the station and to use the bathroom. The bathrooms are located behind these old looking wood mailboxes. I had a Fig Latte. It's about $5 for a medium. This can be made with several kinds of milk, including oat. Also they have some food. These are mostly pastries but some other things. I had a kale salad at lunch. It's about $3.50 for a small one. This makes a healthy snack. It overall is pretty comfortable. Lots of chairs to sit. This is a good place for working.

This is my 4th stop on my monthly coffee crawl tour and my first time visiting Prevail Union ATL. This cafe is located at Sentral West Midtown at Star Metals. Parking is inside a garage and is validated for 2 hours. When you enter the cafe scan the QR code located on the table and enter your car details. When I walked in around 12:35pm on a Monday, there was no line. The seating area, which is shared with the apartment/hotel lobby, had a few people working, and a few others were sitting on the outside patio. It was very quiet inside, almost like a library, which was unexpected but would be welcomed if I was trying to get work done! The service was so-so. I was greeted when I walked in, but it wasn't a particularly warm or friendly interaction, though it kind of fit the vibe of the space. However, I was very impressed with their selection of seasonal drinks and happy to see some unique options to choose from. I decided to go with the Miss Jaunice, which is a Jamaican inspired carrot punch with milk and espresso for $6.75. I forgot to ask for a plant-based milk option and was surprised the barista didn't confirm if regular milk was okay. While it's ultimately my responsibility, usually baristas ask if I forget to specify, so it's good to know that's not a guarantee. Just as a heads up, oat milk and macadamia nut milk are an extra $1. Initially, I enjoyed the flavor of the drink and was happy I tried something different, but after drinking half the cup, I got tired of the taste. I personally felt like it needed something creamier, and I think oat milk with a little vanilla would have been the perfect addition. I would definitely return to try some of their other seasonal drinks, like the HVR or the pumpkin spice latte (they use real pumpkin), and I'll plan on staying awhile to get some work done or read a book since it's such a chill space. read more

First of all, definitely hard to find as the cafe isn't clearly marked except by the logo on its door, which is also hard to find. The best way I can describe the entrance location is that it's next to the parking lot. The vibes are immaculate but I can't say the same about the coffee and food. I prefer sweeter flavors which is why I ordered a normal iced mocha, but it tasted more bland and watery than I'm used to. I was also hungry and heard that Prevail does have food, so I decided to buy something to eat; they have a small selection of refrigerated foods with sandwiches and salads. More disappointing than the coffee was the chicken salad, which my friend described as "funk-tasting". I was also slightly sussed out to be eating a salad that said it was made on a Tuesday, The salad also said it was made on a Tuesday, and we were there on a Saturday, so I was also a bit sussed out by that. Really did like the environment though, so might come back in hopes that I just ordered the wrong stuff haha. read more
Oh my. Prevail is still the best kept secret coffee shop in West Midtown. Tucked away in the lobby of a posh apartment building, this coffee shop is just gorgeous. I love the views, I love the seating, I love the specialty drinks. I am still thinking about this lavender coffee. I love the seating nooks spaced about. Makes me want to buy the T-shirt and tell everyone about it. The shop is for coffee and a few grab and go snacks. This space doubles as the mailroom and lounge for the building - so - I'd love it more if I lived here. Grab a street parking spot and check it out for yourself. read more
"Let's live here. We'll rent to start." Grab your caffeine on the way to where you're going, or stop off for a while to enjoy the tastes and smells at Prevail. Street parking (paid) abounds, and usually you can park and grab to go for free (quick prayer to the parking-ticket gods). Or ride that bike over, walk down from nearby to hang out in the spacious Prevail confines. Complimentary wifi permeates along with the latte aromas, and nooks a-plenty allow for some alone time or room for friend convo. We had fun meeting up with our college-y daughter, with lots of elbow room even though joined by many others with the same idea. The space went on and on with all the sections throughout. This is the bottom floor of a high-rise living space, so you can join the tenants in a live/remote-work location if that's your desire. Bathrooms are past the mailroom which surrounds more booth seating. Convenient to GT and Midtown in an area that has popped up as the newest convenient eating and living space, you can visit early and often (but not late 7a-6p). read more

They charged me $8 for a cupcake Honestly super dispanted, disgruntled, and deceezed. The most shocking part was that the red velvet cupcake looked like it was made by my grand daughter who is If you're going to come here BYOC bring ur own coffee or you're going to go BANKRUP!!!! The barista is wearing bathing suit trunks IN JANUARY No prices on the menu board and the glare is so blindin you can't even read it Cute interior but at what cost? I WILL NEVER RETURN read more

Absolutely delicious was riding around looking for this one coffee place and passed by Prevail Union ATL i immediately went to Yelp to check out there reviews and ratings. I made my way in and was greeted by the lovely Cashier (I'm so bummed I forgot to ask his name) and Ben I told been my coffee flavor and he hooked it up don't know what he made but when I say it's so fresh and refreshing it truly warmed my soul. Woooooooh I am so excited for yet another fabulous coffee shop in the area! I think instead of West Midtown, we should start calling this West Coffeetown. There are so many good coffee shops over here, and for one to stand out as much as Prevail does, really speaks volumes. Such a great quality coffee program. I noticed some other reviews saying the coffee is expensive - IMO, it's not any more or less expensive than you'd expect at a trendy, West Midtown coffee shop. I ordered a nonfat honey beet latte (for Valentine's Day!) and It was about $5 ish. I think that's right about what I expected! I've only visited once and I must say it was very challenging to find the front door after parking in the garage. read more

This elegant and cozy coffee shop opened up recently in Westside Provisions District (which is one of my favorite areas of Atlanta so far). I LOVE the aesthetic inside, it's so beautiful. They have plenty of seating options, with an area with tables and chairs as well as a more lounge-style area with cozy sofas and such. They also have outdoor seating! You can park in the adjacent garage and get 2 hours free parking. This coffee shop is also on the ground floor of a fancy apartment complex; they have a very friendly concierge inside the lobby right by the coffee shop. I tried the fig latte and the chocolate chunk pecan cookie. The cookie is honestly one of the best I have ever had, and the latte was good, but I don't know if I'd get it again. I just wasn't a fan of the fig flavor. But no harm done! This is such a great spot to sit and get work done. I will definitely be back! read more

Good vibe. Good coffee. Sustainable straws. Good social distance space. Amazing to study. Decent parking. Note the place is lobby like area of an apt/hotel (not sure). They utilized part of it for a very classy coffee shop set up. For example, the study area is the mail room. Parking: free on the side where prevail coffee is. The other side (by where Marta station is is city parking). Prevail building offers 2hours free. After, it is validated so it's totally free! read more

Newly opened in West Midtown across from the Marta station. The original location is in Alabama and I believe this is their first GA/Atlanta location. Sharing space with the apartment building, they got a quite nice interior and lounge area. Reminds me of a hotel lounge and the "reading room" is quite nice and cozy. Coffee was very good, well made latte. Wished they had food options but no bakery/pastry options. Parking is free at the deck right next door. read more

Talk about the cutest coffee shop in the Westside Provision District of Atlanta. For starters, The Ambiance is absolutely amazing! What intrigued me the most was the little nooks a available around the shop. This is a great spot for a first date, a business meeting, or perhaps just to unplug. I ordered the Chai Tea Latte with the House-made Honey Vanilla. It was scrumptious. My hubby had a coffee with the caramel syrup. We also ordered the raspberry danish in which was ok. Overall this is a great coffee shop and I will be returning. read more

This is a great coffee house. The only issue I have is that I couldn't find it. It's due to the address. It's not on Howell Mill Rd. It's off of Brady Rd and Howell Mill Rd. Off of Howell Mill Rd, you would turn left if going north or turn right if going south. The interior is welcoming and quiet so you could easily bring your laptop and work here. The coffee is excellent with great choice. They use 100% traceable single origin coffee from farm to bar. If you're on the west side of town, I highly recommend you stop in. read more

Really nice coffee shop located in midtown off of Howell Mill. The interior of Prevail is really nice and eclectic. It kind of gives off the vibes of a library and lounge with the different seating options. I ordered a hot oat milk cappuccino. I got the small and it came out to $7 plus. I was able to get tons of work done and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud (which I appreciate). Parking: Parking is not free. You can park on the street and pay by the hour via the park mobile app or parking their parking deck that's connected. read more

I had a hard time finding this place. I drove around and couldn't find an entrance from Howell Mill, how do I get access?
Hi Shon, take a right on Brady Ave from Howell Mill (west egg will be on your right) when you see the Marta train distribution center- it's on the left side in the apartment complex. Hope this helps!
