I had the summer almond and it was a creamy, with a hint of sweetness from the almond flavor! The cappuccino was also great. They also offer light bites and croissants. They have both chocolate and almond varieties. The service was simple and adequate. The ambience is perfect for working. It's very quiet and they offer plenty of seating. If you are looking for an iced coffee with milk then stop looking and head here! First off, parking is FREE and easy to access in the garage behind the shop! They have the most beautiful wooden table in their main area. I highly recommend the 465 - it is just so great. Also, this isn't your typical cup of iced coffee which is mostly ice with a splash of coffee. It's a chilled creamy coffee with a nice complement of ice, ha! I've visited twice and both baristas have been super helpful and incredibly nice. Can't say enough good things about this place! read more

Stumbled upon this coffee shop via the Caviar app and couldn't be happier! So much so that I started driving there directly. Tried a few flavors of their iced coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches and haven't had to adjust a thing (creamer nor sugar levels). I'd say it's my #1 source of java now replacing the spots previously held by Dancing Goats and Revelator (I consider these the best 3 in town). I'm looking forward to trying more products as they seem to have a good selection of savory items I haven't gotten to yet. I forgot to ask if they have oat milk but hoping that's a possibility on my next visit. Also the price of their iced coffee is very reasonable for the size! I paid $3-$4 bucks for a size that'd cost be $5-$7 elsewhere. With excellent in-person service and free parking, it feels too good to be true. I hope they don't change. read more

First of all, the coffee here is legit. I love it. The menu is not very extensive, and they don't stray much from what's on the boards. this is DEFINITELY because the coffee speaks for itself. They don't have many syrup flavors or latte variations. But it's fine - just go with it. Their coffee is fab. The service is also fab. I feel like they only have one employee, and I'm not sure how I would feel if I saw someone else working here. Will is a gem of a human. I'm not sure he ever goes home, so it's highly likely that he will be there when you visit this location. He is amazing and nice very knowledgeable. Suring all this coronavirus madness, Will (and BDC) are a bright beacon, shining across the street from my apartment on the mornings where I just DO NOT feel like brewing my own coffee. Moved in across the street and thought I'd give it a try. There was no music playing which made the ambience incredibly awkward. The smell of trash was so overwhelming I thought I was going to puke... the gentleman working didn't even greet me. I just walked up to the stand to order. No thank you. Just rung me up. Have to agree with many other previous comments here- cold brew coffee was a little bitter (didn't get too much of a difference in the two different versions). They have a variety of sweetened ice coffees that some people may like but is not my thing. The space is small but nice and it would be a good place to get work done. Barista was friendly and the place was dead when I visited. Pour-over coffee was reasonably priced but was not particularly impressed with the one I had which was a blend. My wife had an iced latte that was just "meh." I'd come back here to give them another chance as it wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Their iced coffee tastes creamy and very delightful. I prefer the 'light' version which is a less sweet take on their original iced coffee. I came to this location last weekend and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Allowing us to try the different ice coffee flavors before making a decision. This Blue Donkey location is conveniently located in a leasing office with a good amount of visitor parking in the parking garage. There is not a ton of sitting space but it wasn't full on a Saturday afternoon so you should be fine if you are looking to get in a study/work session. read more

My friend wanted to show me the Blue Donkey Coffee Company on the Georgia Tech campus. We walked around, but alas, since my friend's last visit all of the doors are now badge-access for students/faculty/staff only. There are two other Blue Donkey locations, and we visited this one. It's at the ground floor of an apartment complex, and shares a space with the leasing office. Nonetheless, the coffee is good. I ordered a cold brew. The barista explained the various coffees when we had questions. COVID stuff: Visited February 2021. We sat at a table inside. Hand sanitizer was available. Unfortunately my experience here today was a waste of time. Barista was super nice but Their selections were extremely limited. No fat free milk, no caramel syrup etc.. I really do enjoy Blue Donkey Coffee, but once again this morning they were not open during posted business hours. I got there about 7:40 a.m. and no one was working. I called "hello" to see if anyone was around and there was no one anywhere in the area. I even checked the business hours and the sign said 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday. Newest location! I first had this coffee at Piedmont Park pop up, but got SO excited when they opened the Grant Park location! I live right up the street from it and the barista I met the other day was so friendly. It's a small family owned business and they roast their beans in GA! I love their coffee so much.
