    Summer Almond Coffee

In love with this coffee shop after one visit! I got the summer almond latte & it was the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. Will definitely be back!

First of all, the coffee here is legit. I love it. The menu is not very extensive, and they don't stray much from what's on the boards. this is DEFINITELY because the coffee speaks for itself. They don't have many syrup flavors or latte variations. But it's fine - just go with it. Their coffee is fab. The service is also fab. I feel like they only have one employee, and I'm not sure how I would feel if I saw someone else working here. Will is a gem of a human. I'm not sure he ever goes home, so it's highly likely that he will be there when you visit this location. He is amazing and nice very knowledgeable. Suring all this coronavirus madness, Will (and BDC) are a bright beacon, shining across the street from my apartment on the mornings where I just DO NOT feel like brewing my own coffee. The shop is always very clean, but EXTRA clean right now. Will isn't even letting anyone touch the POS system to leave a tip.

    A "medium" mocha

Was told the mocha (otherwise known as chocolate) in this "medium" mocha was at the bottom. I didn't expect the fill level to be at the bottom also. This is once all the profit-making foam settled and before taking a single sip. This place and their consistently horrendous service and even more tepid coffee, I wonder how they manage to keep the lights on. Oh yeah, by charging $5+ for this nonsense. I feel like someone's spat in my face. The disrespect.

Blue Donkey serves great-tasting iced lattes! They didn't have a flavor syrup, but it didn't need it!

The coffee was good. The pastries were mediocre. Sat around for a minute before someone appeared. Will return out of convenience.

Since the back wall is all windows there's plenty of natural light, and the metal sign makes for a great photo opportunity. I've had the food in the past and haven't loved it but the drinks are stellar. My go-to is the Iced Caramel Crème. It is in the sweeter side, but if you like caramel coffee, you will be wowed. All of the iced drinks come in the clear branded cups, which allows you to see the beverage in its full glory. There are benches inside to sit at and moveable tables to rest your food and drink on, but I wouldn't think this is a great place to sit and do work. However, if you're catching up with a friend, it works great for that. There are also sometimes tables outside if the weather permits. There are a few parking spots right outside that are 15 minute parking, and much more in the deck right next door. And it's free!

The staff were very nice and gave great recommendations when I asked for opinions. I ended up getting a matcha latte with pistachio crème on top. You can gain entry by using the backdoor garage entry or the entry near their patio area. Unfortunately, when I visited it was pouring and I didn't realize that the former was possible, leaving me to fight the rain once I found the patio entry. Foxtail is not a huge space but they offer a number of slim tables, barstools and two different seating areas with big, comfy chairs. It was easy to grab a seat, even with an 11am rush. There only 2-3 team members working, but they were all very nice and so patient as I stared at the menu with indecisiveness. The menu offered a variety of teas and coffees, along with a display of pastries and a number of sandwich options. After seeing that they served banana matcha, I had to see if I could add banana flavor to my latte - I could! So I started with a banana latte with oat milk + a ham, cheese and egg croissant. My latte was so delicious, I went back for a 2nd cup not too long after. My croissant was delicious as well. This is really a great place to do some remote work or to conduct meetings. The wifi was easy to connect to and I was able to get so much work done in the peaceful coffee shop as the rain poured down outside. Definitely a nice cafe to spend a day at!

Traffic was pretty heavy that morning, and when I finally pulled up, I didn't see an open space right away. For a second, I thought about leaving, but I'm glad I didn't. Parking is actually pretty easy once you know the options--there's a garage nearby and street parking too. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the kind of place I'd be excited to work from. I ordered a matcha latte and spotted the perfect seat by the window--it felt like it was waiting for me. The vibe was calm and creative, with just the right energy for working or people-watching along the BeltLine. The music was on point too, though it really depends on who's working--some days the playlist is an A+. My only real issue? The outlets. They were there, but during my first few visits, the ones at the booths didn't work. Maybe that's been fixed by now, but at the time it was the only thing that missed the mark. Still, this spot easily makes my list of favorite places to post up for a few hours. Between the matcha, the ambiance, and the overall vibe--it's an easy yes for me.
