Beautiful Signage

There are fundamental things that make a coffee shop amazing, aside from the coffee itself. The impossible to describe character of a coffee shop matters more to guests than many other parameters. It's that feeling that has a guest coming back, without knowing necessarily why. It's the umami of feelings. It's the coziness, the beauty, the timeless modernity, the space, the employees and the visitors. Coffee Man hits the mark across the entire segment of enjoyment. The location in an obscure alley in an industrial building, the space has tall ceilings and an inviting board of drinks cleverly arranged on an entire wall. Small touches like this, instead of a typical menu, that add to that umami mentioned earlier. The space is executed in white and warm tones, contrasting to the industrial interior of what one would presume to have been a warehouse or a factory before. Seats are comfortable and plentiful. The coffee is served in colorful mugs with a spectacular level of attention to the quality. While everyone has a preference when it comes to coffee, Coffee Man does an incredible job making all of their coffee drinks some of the best out there. Coffee Man is a special spot and Blandtown is a lucky part of town to have such a gem.

Coffee Man is a great neighborhood coffee stop. Nice location with decent parking options in a lot. Clean and inviting, welcoming spot for a solo refreshment or meeting friends. I was with someone and we both enjoyed the coffees and the tasties. I had the avocado toast which was spot on. There's a little market area as well. Great spot!

I did not get to try the food but I went to this coffee shop for a book club event and the customer service was amazing. The coffee shop is beautiful! Lots of parking when you pull into the lot! Or street parking. I will definitely be back to try the crêpes and matcha!

This place is so cute and warm! The colors were pink and just fun. I got cold brew as I'm a plain Jane gal but they had tons of flavors. We also ordered the breakfast Sammie and lunch Sammie. It did take a while but worth it. Fresh bread too. The people working here were so kind and the merch- I love!!! They have a matcha hoodie that is to die for. Put it on your Christmas/birthday list! They have plenty of parking but it is behind a building so hard to find

Cute and cozy coffee shop! I like that Coffee Man is pretty spacious, but still gives a cozy vibe. Everyone was friendly and accommodating! I visited midday to get some work done. The shop was on the quieter side making it a great place to go if you need to focus. I also loved that there were plenty of outlets available! There's plenty of parking in the attached lot.

I'm visiting Atlanta and love coffee shops so we had to check this spot out! They have a huge menu of classic and specialty coffee items, and tons of comfortable seating. They also have lots of food, which was amazing!! My baby loved the banana toast and I loved the avocado toast. Everyone was so friendly and the space is huge!

Coffee Man is a hidden gem in this city that I recommend to anyone who asks - and people who don't! Great pastries and food options, friendly staff, and above all else, great coffee. Their specialty is definitely their cold brew. No up charge for alternative milk is a great plus for me, and they make all their syrups in house, with seasonal drinks that I get addicted to every time. It's tucked away from the street, but parking is free. There's a little market like area near the front to browse local artists while you wait for your coffee. Don't miss out on Coffee Man!

my favorite coffee shop in ATL!!! a little off the beaten path but worth the trip. i moved neighborhoods and still come all the time! no charge for non dairy milks, amazing specials, craft made syrup, incredibly friendly staff, plenty of seating and outlets, lots of parking! my favorite drink is the chocolate cherry cold brew with brown sugar cold foam-- WOW. a couple things they do that i love: 1) free refills on drip coffee 2) 50% off your drink if you bring in used coffee grounds for composting!

I wish I would've realized that the drink was an iced coffee, but that is probably on me since it said cold brew.

Prior to the event, the owner was great and accommodating to my schedule and very understanding when it took me sometime to finalize the event date and contract. However, as soon as I paid the money for our event, the owner went MIA on me. We hosted our event 2 months ago, and I've still not received our refundable deposit back. I've texted, called, emailed, and reached out to them on all social media platforms with no resolution. After several weeks, I got one message stating that the owner was out of country, but would be refunding my deposit by the following Monday-that was 3 weeks ago. The venue is not worth all the hassle of chasing them down-there are plenty of other places in Chicago who are more professional and trustworthy.

This venue reminds me of the type of space my boyfriend mentions when he decides to plan his birthday at the last minute. Anyway the venue is located off Huff which is apparently a very busy road. It took a lot to find parking and to actually recognize the event parking that was located next-door. The business to the right of the venue does not offer parking to my knowledge. The venue honestly has enough space for maybe six cars. Granted the venue isn't that big but it's definitely bigger than six cars worth of people. The inside is very industrial. It has a loft vibe. There is a small bar and one bathroom. Depending on how busy the space can be it could be very inconvenient with only one restroom. Especially if the bar kitchen area is occupied and you need another sink. There is a lot of space upstairs which requires walking. I would not suggest putting anything upstairs if you have guests that have leg or knee issues. Older guests will definitely not enjoy having to walk up those stairs for any reason. Overall the space isn't bad. I can imagine one having a small birthday party or another type of shower there. Perhaps even a networking event or something that doesn't require more than 30 people to attend. If you're looking for a small event venue within the perimeter and close to Midtown and the highway I will suggest it. Just be mindful of the parking situation.

Easy to get to and from, and parking wasn't bad. This is a relatively new event space on Huff Road, situated between Souper Jenny Westside and Apex West Midtown (Agavero, Twisted Soul). It opened in/around June 2021: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQw-bPWpU6_/ It shares a building with other businesses including Anadol Rug, which has been around since 1984. The 42West event space is hidden. It occupies more than half of the building in the back. We mostly spent time in the indoor event space (5,800 square feet) and string-lit upper patio just outside (900 square feet). The event was an Indian sangeet and mehndi. It was a lot like an American wedding reception. There was a catered buffet dinner, performances, and dancing. Hundreds of guests attended. I thought 42West was well-suited for the amount of people, the numerous food stations, and bar (or two, I can't remember). Caterers and other vendors parked their trucks and vehicles in the small parking lot in front of the building. Guests parked across the street at 1075 Huff Road. Check out 42West's Instagram to get a good feel for what the spaces (mainly the indoor space) can look like: https://www.instagram.com/42westentertainmentgroup/ 42West is named after co-owner Kevin Willis' jersey number 42 and the westside of Atlanta. As a longtime San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks fan, I thought this was an interesting fact. Co-owner and event planner Lauren Pelissier brought the vision of 42West to life and runs the show.

We had a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. My wife and I had a great time. We had a buffet dinner. They were both good. To get a feel for the open layout and industrial-chic decor, check out my pictures, attached to this review. I remember when this place used to be The Defoor Centre, from about 2002 to 2019. During that time, it served as both an event space and an arts center. My friends and I attended a wedding here in 2014. https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-defoor-centre-atlanta The property was sold in July 2020 and reopened as The West Venue later that year. I believe the interior space is simpler and more open now.

Maybe adding a second heater and a hot chocolate station in the igloo, along with some music, would make the space feel much cozier and nicer.

The atmosphere was pleasant, as the space itself is modern and well-designed, with a relaxed yet upscale vibe. The location, within the historic Foundry building, adds a bit of character and charm to the overall ambiance. The service was friendly, though it was a bit inconsistent. The catering dropped the ball for people who did not eat meat or fish. My plate consisted of a dry salad (no dressing) and some sort of grain dish that I opted not to eat. Our server struggled with our table of eight, as we had to wait longer than expected for refills and updates on our meal offerings and timing. It wasn't a major issue, but it did take away from the overall experience. The tables and chairs need to be reupholstered or replaced, as the chairs we had damaged two of our table guest's dresses. The Foundry at Puritan Mill is located in Westside Atlanta, very close to the King Plow Arts Center. The site used to be home of the Puritan Chemical Company, who manufactured soaps and other cleaning products. The building has since been renovated and transformed into a clean and modern-looking facility. The floor space is huge. Sections were cordoned off with tall, elegant, white curtains. Along with nice decor and ambient lighting, the building still maintains an industrial look and feel with high, enormous ceilings with exposed ductwork and steel support beams, smooth-finished concrete floors, brick walls, and giant warehouse-style windows. There's also a patio outside, not to mention ample free parking. Puritan Mill provided more than enough space for our group of about 130-140. For our party, the venue was divided into three sections: (1) cocktails, h'orderves, (2) live music and dancing, (3) dinner. The first hour consisted of an open bar with standing tables and light h'orderves. When dinnertime rolled around, the curtains were pulled back and the beautiful, intimate dining area opened up. After dinner, dancing lasted late into the night. Overall, it was a very fun time and I had a blast. Food and drinks were provided by Bold American Catering (preferred caterer). Live entertainment was provided by Freeflight Productions of Kennesaw.
