Chicken nachos -sorry, but I already ate half of them!
    Diane L.

Our waitress, Bailey was awesome! Sweet, funny and extremely proficient. Food was very good pub style food.

CARL is the sassiest waiter on the planet. My party ordered drinks and politely asked to have one of them removed due to dietary restrictions. Carl asked if I could give my drink to someone else at the table in order to avoid getting the manager. He stated that it would be "an act of God" to have the drink removed but would send a manager to the table. Carl walked away and never spoke to the manager, but ironically enough, the manager brought our food to the table. The manager was initially unaware of the situation and later apologized on behalf of Mr. "Sassy short pants." Carl eventually came back to our table and when confronted about the miscommunication, he immediately became defensive. He asked me to count the number of tables in the building, implying it was the reason he didn't notify the manager. Furthermore , Carl proceeded to complain about previous guests and their attitude and then walked away due to an inability to contain his composure. He literately stood there 30 secs prior with a blank stare as if he wanted to fight lol. Afterward, Carl went to the bar to speak to the manager in hopes of getting rid of us. However, the manager came back to our table and waived the entire bill. Who needs television with unhinged servers like carl, we thoroughly enjoyed the free dinner and comedy show!

Drinks are delicious and the service was fantastic. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Ambulance was fun and festive. I would definitely come back here. I love the concept of the flavors and mixing.

We have been coming to Wet Willie's for a while now. A year, I believe. It's the only restaurant throughout mobile that we can find that has gumbo without shrimp. This handsome guy right here is allergic, so... it can't have any cooked in. The workers are always nice and helpful friendly and we always enjoy our trip

I only ordered drinks. It was down the block from my hotel. The servers were friendly. My cousin said it wasn't strong enough but it was perfect for me. I'm a light weight.

So glad they have a Wet Willie's in Mobile! We were visiting for the night from New York and knew we had to stop here. My Sex on the Beach slushee was okay but enjoyed my husband's Willie Dazed better. We were even allowed to try samples which was awesome.

Strawberry + Piña Colada = "Miami Vice"

This place was pretty fun! They have a large choice of flavors for frozen alcoholic drinks. We had the Piña Colada mixed with Strawberry for a "Miami Vice" drink. The large was a good size, but the amount of sugar got the better of me so I couldn't finish it. They're remodeling their kitchen so food wasn't an option right now, just the drinks. But they had a ragtime band playing some live music, and that was pretty entertaining. There was ample seating with tables and chairs, but they have some ledges if you wanted to stand and rest your drink nearby instead. The staff / bartenders were really friendly, and you're allowed to sample a paper medicine cup of any flavored drink you wish to try before buying. I'll definitely be back!

I'm so glad Wet Willie's was still operating during COVID. Beau and I was taking an afternoon stroll in Bienville Square and decided we needed a cold drink during the hot summer day. We went over and grabbed a drink. I got a "Sex on the Beach" and Beau got "Pina Colada". They check your ID and temperature at the door and a mask is required.

There are sugar free choices y'all!
    Jeannie G.

Y'all - there were two sugar-free options on their wall of blended beverage choices! There was food available which we did not try this time but it's a good place to get something easy and fast - Nothing fancy. Even though the drinks are all blended (like it comes from a slurpee machine kind of thing) they are all good and strong with a wide selection of flavors. You can also ask them to mix the flavors or you can pick a mixed recipe from the menu. My husband had mango, piña colada, strawberry mixed and there were real strawberries in it! I had the sugar free Call a Cab (the signature drink) and it was just as good as the sugar option!

Our query for a seafood restaurant led us here, and at first glance almost decided to leave. The seating was minimal and we had to walk up to the counter to order. While waiting, we realized it is primarily a seafood market and take-out orders for cooked food were the main business. But the reviews were great, so we gave it a try. We were amazed at the quality and quantity of food we got. An order of crab claws and shrimp came with over 40 claws and about ten shrimp, all fried to perfection with the best tasting breading ever! The atmosphere was like old time New Orleans, on the wrong side of the tracks. But relax your snobbish standards a bit, and enjoy your seafood the way it is meant to be served!

I should've listened to all of the advice from the locals on Reddit, who warned me that this place has fallen on harder times. The char grilled oysters were funky. I ate them but worried as I ate them. The hush puppies earned a star. They were pretty tasty. The were my favorite thing on the table. However, we asked for butter, and our server gave us packets of butter substitute. Doesn't this restaurant have real butter? The gumbo was fairly tasteless and also, they had chopped up whatever seafood was in there so finely that it all just turned into mush. If there was any seafood in there, I sure didn't taste it. The West Indies crab salad was a shocking disappointment. It was a scoop of crab meat, which they ruined by mixing it up with mayo. That's it. An ice cream scoop of canned crab meat mixed with heavy mayo. It's like they didn't even try. The bread pudding left very little impression. It was a little rectangular square. Our server misunderstood us when we said we wanted it topped with ice cream, and served the bread pudding alongside a bowl of five scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was a very odd dessert situation, but we worked our way through it. Our server was an amusing fella. He kinda/sorta made the evening. Overall, I'm glad I went so I could know for myself. However, I do wish that I had listened to the locals on Reddit.
