If you're looking for a bunch of drunk people acting like really drunk people, then this is the spot they congregate, and you will be entertained! We were walking down the street in broad daylight on an afternoon, and this place was packed. There was a large group of women celebrating a bachelorette party, and a whole bunch of drunk guys. I have to say the alcohol like a slushy selection is pretty good, there's at least 15 different flavors to choose from. I got to sample maybe five different ones and they were all very interesting. You can also mix multiple flavors into the same cop, they're all super high in sugar and made from cheap alcohol which will knock you out on your behind very quickly. The bartenders were not very friendly at all, probably because of all the belligerent wasted people they have to deal with on a daily basis. The whole bar was very stinky, and the floor was very sticky probably from people spilling drinks all over the place. Interesting place to visit, but probably not to stay too long. This and The Grey were my two favorite places in Savannah! It is no secret that it can be steamy in Georgia, especially during the summer, so when I wanted something to cool me off, Wet Willie's came to the rescue. They have a ridiculous amount of frozen daiquiri flavors, and even mix them for daily specials to extend their already incredible list. The one I got was a watermelon one that was a mix of 3 other flavors. And don't worry about whether or not these drinks actually have alcohol, because they do, and they will do a great job of getting a nice buzz going after a couple. I doubt my $11 strawberry daiquiri had much liquor in it. I like to watch my drinks being made to see what ingredients are used. Hard to do when your cocktail is being pumped out of some machine. The service was good--not that fast because it was busy. They have an assortment of Wet Willie's merchandise, including koozies, shirts, and tumblers. The dining side and bar side are separated by a wall, which I like. I've never tried any of the food but they offer the typical selection of bar food. Since this location is off of River Street the foot traffic is insane and you must make sure to QUICKLY take your position at the counter to ensure you buy your boozy frozen drink. However, because of the traffic in this one, you don't always get to converse with the lovely mixologists behind the counters in order to find out their personal combinations. The other location in Savannah on a lovely square across from the Treehouse (sorry! This place has a huge selection of frozen sugary beverages. Although they're super sugary, they have a good bit of alcohol for a decent price. There's a ton of flavors that I won't even begin to try and remember. I included a pic of some of the flavors. I had a chocolate banana that had two types of alcohol, and it tasted great but I don't recommend. I don't know what it was about it but it made me sick just a few sips in. We were bar crawling and this was our first stop so that was a super bummer. I still give it 4 stars because everyone else's sink tasted great and nobody else got sick. Until my boyfriend decided to finish my drink off and then he was nauseous too. So maybe get anything but the chocolate banana. And prices are better than some other options near the riverfront. My friend and i had the gumbo. Very spicy but delicious. I liked the chorizo, chicken pieces and okra additions in it. Our steamed rice was missing and upon informing the waitstaff they reduced the price for us. The onion rings are massive and taste more like burnt batter than onion. Could do with more onion in it. The staff here is great. The restaurant itself is really dingy, but I've never eaten there. I usually just grab my slushie to go and sit on the river-front. 5/10/23 This restaurant is located in City Market in Savannah,Ga Where do I start? They were out of wings, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, Carbonated drinks. I ordered the fish and chips. Once my food came out I am for tartar sauce, they did not have any. I ordered spinach dip.This was the worst of everything. No cheese on top and it was watery. The front door girl demanded I take off my hat when I entered the BAR, which I did. However, other people had their hats on once I entered the BAR. Also then when ordering a small appetizer and drink, the server appeared upset that that is all I ordered. It was slow and about 10pm. I had put my hat on sitting at the table and the front door girl again singled me out and stated, "it is a gentleman rule and we have to enforce it."
