I loved the detail they took to get my Scottish terrier look done, my doggie looked great. They followed what we talked about and were able to soothe when doing the front paws which my dog struggles with. I'm very happy. read more

Wet Paws Grooming Studio - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mountain View, California

I had a very disappointing experience at Wet Paws Grooming in Mountain View. The staff came across as rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in, which set the tone for the entire visit. Communication was poor, and I felt like my questions about the grooming process were brushed off rather than addressed. Pricing was another major issue. What I was initially quoted ended up being far from the final bill. There were several add-on charges that were never clearly explained upfront, making the whole experience feel misleading and unnecessarily expensive. Overall, between the lack of professionalism and the surprise fees, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are plenty of other groomers in the area who are more transparent and customer-friendly. read more

I really thought hard about whether to write this or not and decided I had to. I brought my cat, who's a ragdoll, in for grooming for the first time. He was a little under a year so we had just been brushing and bathing him at home but I really wanted to get his fur trimmed. The team contacted me before and let me know that most cats are okay with the service but if they bite, scratch, or get aggressive, the team stops the service and charges you the full price. I agreed because it seemed fair and since my cat's a ragdoll, I didn't expect anything to go wrong. I brought him in and they told me it'll take about and two hours or so. I didn't hear from them around 2 hours later so I just showed up ready to pick him up. When I got there, they told me they couldn't finish the service because my cat got bitey. They also told me he "hurt himself" and had bled a bit. I asked to see him and they refused. When I got my cat back, he was wet and covered in blood. They had tried to clean it but because he has white fur, you could see how much he bled. He was in terrible condition. While I understand if they had to stop and still charge me, I wasn't expecting my cat to get hurt so back that all 4 paws and his chest would be covered in blood. I'm really disappointed in how they treated my cat and he was traumatized for a really long time. They didn't give a clear explanation and just said he "hurt himself" Don't bring your cat here, I think they specialize in working with dogs. read more

We usually bathe our 7 year old Samoyed ourselves, as it has been difficult to find a qualified groomer in the area that has experience with this breed. We took a chance with Wet Paws and could not have been more pleased! The studio is clean, the staff is so friendly, and they took such good care of our girl (who does not like being groomed and makes it known!). She looked so beautiful 3.5 hrs later when it was time to pick her up! Thank you so much, we are relieved to have found this place and will absolutely be back! read more

Wow. Usually I am not impressed with pet grooming. It is all the same hair cut and bath. Let me tell you about true customer service. I am terrible with names and I wish I recalled the amazing lady who helped me at the counter. She was super sweet to my princess and helped me decide what to do with her hair. Wow. I was so surprised. They did the most amazing job. I was surprised how good the princess looked. She was so happy. Huge smile on her face and she looks like a million bucks. Listen I don't do reviews often, however this place is 5 stars. read more

I tentatively set up an appointment. Since I was a new customer I was lead to believe they would let me know if that appt held. I did not confirm the appt. They charged me $152.95 for an appt I did not confirm. I feel their business practice is punitive and I would never consider visiting their business. They refuse to refund my money. Because I was a new customer I expected to be treated with respect. This is not that. read more

Wet Paws did an outstanding job with my English Bulldog, Panda! Her coat is so clean, and they got her facial folds cleaner than they've been in a long time. It's been a month and she still smells amazing. Thank you guys for the great work! read more

I got a full bath session for my pet exotic shorthair. When I adopted him from a rescue he came with ringworm, and after 3 months of being in a cone and biweekly lime sulfur dips he was finally free of it. But, due to the inability to groom himself with a cone on, and the harsh chemical nature of lime sulfur his paws and face had gotten quite dirty while his overall fur and skin became very dry and damaged. Wet Paw's did a great job! They approaching grooming cats and dogs differently, since both animals have different grooming and temperamental needs. I really appreciate them explaining the differences to me and informing me of what they plan to use and do. And I liked being able to see a video of the bathing and drying process (I think they showed me out of courtesy, I'm not sure if they record every session). I've got to say, I have never seen my cat's face so clean. Due to the smushed-face nature of exotics they tend to have issues with crevices with dirt/food/dead skin accumulation and staining from weeping. But, my cat's face has never been so clean!! It has convinced me that maybe I should bring him in more often, as I did not know his face could be this clean (and I wipe his face daily). Not a single spec of dirt on his face that night I wiped his face wrinkles! I also want to thank them for putting extra time in conditioning my cat's fur. As mentioned earlier, his skin and fur was in a bad state due to 3 months worth of lime sulfur dips. It really helped him, and I think he is feeling less itchy too (they noted he had a lot of dry skin). One thing to note, was that I brought in the cat carrier while holding it. And I think they were were respectful as they did not leave my carrier on the floor. And only put it on the floor after I let them know it's okay to place it there. It's a small gesture that I could have easily missed, but I really want to express my appreciation of that kind of thoughtfulness. Some things to consider when you bring your cat: I think it would probably be asked in their intake form. But, during the session they gave some treats to my cat (they informed me of this, so it was not a surprise), so if your cat has any food allergies I would bring it up. Second, the conditioner they used on my cat has a scent. So, if your cat is sensitive to scents maybe you can bring it up and ask if there is scent free conditioner. They're very accommodating and I don't think it hurts to ask in advance. That you for the amazing groom! Feline approved. read more

I am so glad I chose Wet Paws Grooming. From the moment we walked in from the time we left, our experience was wonderful. The groomer (I'm sorry I failed to ask for their names) was welcoming, friendly, and calming to our Shiloh. She was nervous and shy and the groomer knew when to back off and/or give Shiloh a yummy treat. She listened to exactly what I wanted done for my furry baby. She was up front with the pricing and explained everything that would be done. It didn't hurt that there was a "first time discount". She also had a well knowledgeable behaviorist trainer (again failed to ask his name) that explained some basic puppy training tips. He helps to calm the furry friends. She has show dog quality and experience. He is well versed and experienced trainer. What a great team to be handling all your furry friends' grooming needs! Shiloh smelled wonderful. Her paw pads were finally visible and had a cute bow when it came time to pick her up. The most surprising, our Shiloh was literally loving her and did not show and nervousness and shyness that she did from the beginning. I definitely booked to come back in 6 weeks no doubts. I recommend Wet Paws Grooming to any furry owners. read more

I bring both of my dogs here. Catherine does an amazing job with both of them. (Terrier mix and Maltese) You can tell she is really passionate about what she does, my dogs come out happy and looking fantastic every time. In the past I had gone to many different groomers, all with not great results. Glad I have finally found the right place for them! read more

Great customer service in booking appts for my 3 fur babies. Thank you, Catherine for your call and help.

I am so glad I went with this groomer! It started off with just needing a nail clip. I called last minute and they were able to accommodate me on my only day off which was truly amazing. (Thank you guys again!!) My Shepard has had a bad experience at groomers in the past and she gets extremely nervous. I expressed these concerns with them and they told me that they'd take their time with her and give her breaks if needed. Once she was done, she was not shaking or seemed stressed at all which honestly blew my mind!! It really makes me happy that this place really cares about animals and their wellbeing. I also had grooming done, which I never really do just so I don't stress my dog out, and I really liked the whole process and how they explained the packages & even let me see all the bandanas and smell the perfumes, which I was able to choose. Came back once she was done and they did everything I asked to be done and my dog was just so happy and comfortable too. So if you have an anxious dog I would definitely recommend this place! It's such a peaceful, loving environment and I will definitely come back with Mia here! Thank you guys so much read more

Took my 5 yo morkie here and I was blown away! The staff are all very professional and helpful and my pup came out looking so gorgeous and happy! I have been a loyal customer at Heidi's dog grooming but they were all book for the day and I had to go on a long business trip the next day so I found this place and gave them a try. BIGGEST MISTAKE! They charged me $200 dollars SAYING THEY ARE LUXURY nothing luxury about them. They left cuts on my dog. The worst part is they do not even tell you they did it. First and last time coming here. A day later the cuts were worse. I complained to the owner Angelo he made a racist comment about my type of people being liars mocking my Pakistani accent. This is heart breaking. I've never experienced this type of treatment. I found out that Christina the groomer is not experienced they have no awards. She barely got her license less then a year ago and has no references or credible experience this business is a scam! Update I'm sorry the name of the employee was Cathrine. On their website it states they have rewards and years of experience I know for a fact she doesn't its a lie she just got her license to groom barely a year ago. Which there is nothing wrong with that but to say you have years of experience that's a lie and a scam. Convenient to just deny me how would I know your names if I have never used your services. read more

These guys did a fantastic job with my 3yo maltipoo, I don't think he's ever been this soft! We will be back for sure.

I cannot say how lucky I feel that this place opened up. The owners were able to groom my 4.5 month old mini Schnauzer at the last minute because another grooming service stood me up and my pup had mats on his chest. Every detail was discussed and they took great care of Burdock. read more
