I booked an appointment. I did not hear anything from the owner for 6 days. The day of the appointment, she let me know that she wasn't sure if her mobile grooming rig was ready for a groom, but she would let me know. I asked her to go ahead and cancel the appointment and I'd book in 2 weeks in order to allow her time to get it up and running. I did this. Then today, a half hour before our appointment, she canceled and said she woke up sick. If she woke up sick, why wait until a half hour before the appointment to let me know? If your mobile unit wasn't ready for an appointment, why allow bookings? And then why wait until nearly a week later to "test your unit" when you knew you had a pending appointment for that day... just not very professional. Definitely won't be booking again. read more

I took my Siberian Husky, Mowgli, to Heidi's Dog Grooming, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! He came back looking absolutely amazing--clean, fluffy, and smelling fresh. What really stood out to me was the genuine care and kindness from this family-owned business. They were so sweet with Mowgli, and you could tell they truly love what they do. Grooming a husky is no small task, but they de-furred him beautifully and made his coat incredibly soft and manageable. The staff is so caring and they go above and beyond to make sure our dogs are well loved and feel secure and happy while giving excellent hair cuts. Brought my Oliver in last minute this past Friday. I specifically asked for deshedding being the main priority and they did an amazing job. He is a short hair but sheds like crazy.. when I received him Oliver was super happy and energetic so I know without a doubt that they treated him with much love and care. The reception room is small and a little warm upon entering, but tidy. We came across Heidi's in our search for a groomer and unfortunately were extremely let down with the first visit. Our dog is just over 9 lbs and has medium / short hair - so by no means an all day job. We dropped her off at 1pm for her appointment and were told it would take 3 hours. We anticipated it being shorter as we figured this was just an allotted amount of time for scheduling but made arrangements for one of us to be available for the whole time. We were told we would get a 20 minute heads up call. The three hours go by and we didn't hear a peep from Heidi's. We called 3 times and received no answer. On the 4th, we were put on a brief hold before being hung up on and not able to get back in touch. Eventually, we headed over as we started to worry. By ~4 hours in they hadn't even started to give her the trim. They then proceeded to rush as it was nearing closing time and they knew we were outside waiting. We finally got our pup back after ~4 hours and 30 minutes and absolutely no communication initiated by Heidi's. The response and excuses just made matters worse. We hoped for better based on the reviews, but would not take or leave our pets with them again. read more

Pet Parlor is amazing! My Corgi was traumatized from previous nail-trimming experiences at my vet and another pet groomer's, so he HATES getting them. During our first visit to Pet Parlor, we were pleasantly surprised! My Corgi still wasn't happy to be there (I could hear him scolding them), but the nail trim was very quick and they did a good job getting the nails short. Over the course of about 6 visits, my Corgi has become much better at getting his nails trimmed. I don't hear him complaining any more, and he trots out looking happy.
