My babies were way overdue for a grooming when I reached out to Jenna. Even though she was booked, she managed to squeeze us in for an appointment. She was easy to communicate with and made them feel special at drop-off. As far as skill, she exceeded my expectations. This is by far the best cut they've ever had! The prices are a bit on the high side, but for the quality it's so worth it. I mean look how cute they are.

Jenna was great with my Lhasa Apso. Very clear communication and excellent grooming. Will be using her from now on. Recommend.

First time going to Jenna for my newly adopted dog and she was very kind and pleasant. My dog, who has mild separation anxiety, was excited to walk into her grooming space. It is very clean and welcoming environment and she gives lots of love and care to the dog. She gave my dog the exact haircut as requested and he came out looking perfect and happy! It is not the cheapest place you can go to but definitely worth the price and convenience.

Jenna is such a dog person and always takes the time to connect with my puppy when I drop her off. We took her here for her very first haircut and she has been happy to go back since. Jenna is fast because she only does one dog at a time, which also means that they don't have to wait in cages. She only takes small dogs.

Happy puppy, happy mom. Today was Pepper's second trip to Jenna's. She's a high-energy Aussiedoodle puppy who is quite a handful, but once again, after Jenna's expert attention, Pepper came out trimmed and tidy, uber fluffy, and smelling amazing. Very happy.

Jenna is the best groomer I've ever taken my Lola to. I had a wonderful experience and will be taking her back here as long as I'm in Palo Alto.

He gets so excited when we get a few blocks away because he knows he is going to Woofs and Wiggles. Drop off is convenient, easy, and walk in welcome ! I love that we don't have to schedule for daycare as I live a busy not set schedule work life so I usually don't plan daycare days in advance like others can. In addition Johnny is always so welcoming and they feed my dog his breakfast/lunch and tell me that he eats it too. I also love that they spray the floors when dogs go potty (most places just mop which just spreads the potty around). Thank you Woofs and Wiggles for being such a safe, fun , and reliable place for my pup!!

Over the next several days, if I left him in the car for a few minutes, he would be shaking with fear. He also became scared of brushes. Previously, he had loved being groomed, and I would give him a bully stick. He would not even accept the bully stick. I had to switch to a comb and still give him frequent breaks and pets, and he still would not take his bully stick. Months later, I got him back to his old routine. I am extremely suspicious of this business and cruelty to dogs.

We were looking for a facility and caretaker that particularly screens each dog, maintains a controlled "home-like" environment with open play and was accommodating to dietary/health/general needs. The screening process was strict but with good foundations, our dog passed with flying colors, and it's nice knowing the rest of the boarding family has done the same. Funny enough, Shinji was so attached to Kevin that he chose him as his human pillow during his initial overnight trial and that's when I knew he found his new "buddy and happy place away from home". Now he recognizes the drive and arrives with cries and wags even months between visits. Shibas come with great quirks though, and it was a blessing that Kevin welcomed ours with no judgment. Shinji is very play-driven and uniquely has a silly preference for doodle and herding dogs, and there is no shortage of those among a diverse range of family dogs in Kevin's boarding family. Kevin operates independently and it amazes us how open he is with communication and concerns while caring for his boarding groups at the same time. We were evaluating a new doggie daycare provider and came across Andy's Boarding Place. Upon contacting him, Kevin walked me through his thorough evaluation process to ensure that our dog would be a great fit for this place. He wanted to make sure our dog was comfortable as well as the other dogs that were already boarding there. Since our dog is super social, he had no issue with passing the eval and we were able to get him set up with daycare right away. You will do a 1/2 day of daycare first before you can start leaving your pooch here all day or doing a boarding session. Kevin's prices are very reasonable and he is very responsive via both text and email. We get plenty of pictures of our dog throughout the day and whenever we have a daycare/boarding need, we can just email him and he is very accommodating with our schedule and our needs. Kevin makes sure that our dog never gets any food that is not approved by us and will feed the dogs at scheduled times, separately. For boarding, the dogs get to cozy up directly on a human bed, which makes them feel like they are at home.

We are not new dog owners and with our previous dog, we lived the best life - traveling across US and Canada, flying on planes, staying in hotels, dining at Michelin star restaurants, going to work at the office, walking off leash, etc - with zero professional training. He actually was a puppy school drop out! We learned that all dogs are different and with our new pups, we needed help on dealing with behavioral issues like reactivity. Through positive reinforcement, Amy coached us on how to loose leash walk our dogs in heel position. She also showed us how to do "place" work, use spatial pressure and how to get our dogs to focus on us around distractions. We also learned how to turn up our praising game verbally and with treats! Trainings were mainly at Butcher Park which is a very high pressure environment given the amount of dogs at any given time. It really put us to the test and honestly, we were challenged! It's hard work. We had homework after each lesson, but we committed to practicing in between lessons. We weren't perfect but we always showed up ready to learn, and to give and receive feedback each time with the goal of growing and improving. We ended up doing "board and train" for both of our dogs (one at a time) and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. We needed a jumpstart and Amy gave us the knowledge and tools to set us up for how we want to live our lives with our French bulldogs. Just the facts. Our…read morepup is 8 months old. Our plans were to travel abroad for 2 weeks. What to do? We considered boarding w/ established kennels, but wanted something more personal, bespoke. Among others, we were referred to Ashley Scontriano. We paid Ashley for numerous pre-trip visits, a few hours each, to acclimatize our pup, and allow Ashley to determine if he'd be a good fit. We valued her opinion and trusted her judgement. We received the thumbs up, with less than a week to go before our trip. Ashley agreed to care for our pup while we were out of the country. What a relief! We dropped our pup with Ashley, the morning of our departure, excited for our vacation. Less than 24 hours later, already 2k miles away, we received a text from Ashley which began "Please think of a plan B..." A plan B?? We had cancelled our plan B when Ashley gave us the green-light, prior to departing. The message continued, and I paraphrase, that our pup kept her up all night, crying, and she just couldn't take it. She didn't see that coming? Separation anxiety from a puppy, the first night away. She's a "dog professional?" What to do?! We'd cancelled our plan B, and wouldn't ask friends to take on a puppy for 2 weeks. Thankfully, Ashley had a possible solution -- we could pay her $200/day for "doggy boot camp!" HA! And I wonder how often that has worked with other clients -- too busy, too wealthy to say no? We called Beds & Biscuits. Fortunately, as our initial plan A, we'd completed the pre-reqs and they were able to accommodate our puppy. Glowing progress reports, too, from his stay with them -- yes, a needy puppy, craving attention and love, something they provided him. Something we thought Ashley had agreed to provide him. Instead, she wanted more money, after agreeing to watch him, and proposed drugging him to "better manage his anxiety." And so, after spending $$$ on Ashley's pre-trip evaluations, delivering our puppy into her care, and flying 2k miles away, Ashley reversed course, bailed...his "separation anxiety" (one night in) was too much, but it wouldn't be too much if we'd pay her $200/day? No thanks. And now she's demanding $130 more for the day/night she "cared for" our puppy. Ashley has said that WE didn't do enough before departing -- that the time at her home was insufficient, that she was "set up to fail." As a "dog professional," wasn't this something she should have, could have flagged BEFORE we departed? She didn't -- she assured us our pup would be well cared for, that he was settling in just fine. And then we departed, flew 2k miles, and without a conversation texts us "Please think of a plan B..." Incredibly unprofessional. Lacking completely in scruples and integrity. Further -- if you care at all about who you're entrusting your dog to, the quality of the human being -- who you're giving your money to -- then please do what we should have done, prior to this whole mess. Google Ashley Scontriano. https://goodtimes.sc/santa-cruz-news/news/nuz-pro-tip-dont-defend-racism-social-media/ https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2018/11/03/18818730.php
