Everything went beautifully. My dog is very strong and very high strung - HATES water (although he's supposed to love swimming), and any messing around with his feet. Amanda was so good, professional, and understanding, and did a beautiful job. (I was worse than my dog in terms of nervousness because he's so wiggly, and oh, he "sings." An ear splitting whine/bark on repeat. Highly recommend The Country Petwash and Amanda. Oh, and I watched one of the agents groom/trim a standard poodle and it was a gorgeous cut! (My dog has very short hair so doesn't need any styling.) Thank you for a wonderful experience! read more

They close at random days and random times and there's no way to contact them because they either don't answer their phone or the mailbox is full. I do love this dog wash place but it's so difficult and inconvenient to get a wash here. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way and I hope they fix this issue soon or at bare minimum change their hours. read more

I've been coming here for the last 6 months or so once I found out that they were located nearby! I used to drive up to Menlo Park to wash my Samoyed, Moshi (he needs a bath every 4-6 weeks). I use the self-wash tubs which are very well stocked, they offer quality shampoos and supplies - literally everything you need from brushing their teeth, cleaning their ears, brushing them, etc you name it. The service here is also amazingly friendly. My dog takes forever to dry so they always help and offer a quick-dry spray (works like magic) and a large fan to aid in the blow drying process. I cannot recommend this groomer enough - they always make sure Moshi and I are well supported!! They check in on Moshi too to make sure he's having a good time and given some treats for his troubles. read more

We took Bruno to Country Pet Awash in Mountain View, and they did an amazing job! He came out clean, fluffy, and smelling fantastic thanks to their shampoo, conditioner, and even a little pet cologne. Highly recommend for anyone wanting their pup to look and feel their best! read more

Been taking my dog here for years, never had any problems. The fact they provide everything to wash and care for your dog is huge. I wouldn't recommend any other pet wash, this is by far the world's best. read more

This is the best Self dog washing station. The facility is super clean and the staff is really attentive. They also provide you with towels, shampoo, conditioner, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. We have been using this facility for over a year and it has stayed the same. read more

I love this self pet wash place! The owner is super nice and helpful, and they offer grooming services if you need them. Book the grooming service well in advance though. They have all the soaps, conditioners, and towels, so sometimes we just stop there on the way home from a dusty or muddy hike. read more

We have been coming for years to bathe our two huskies. Amanda and her staff are super helpful and very tolerant of the "fur"nado created by blowing the floofs dry. They have nice shampoos, toothpaste, brushes, combs, towels and waterproof aprons to get the job done. And the good doggies always get a treat after suffering the abuse! read more

We are very particular with whom we trust our pets and have nothing but good things to say about Amanda and Larissa. They have been our go-to groomers for years and, as long as they are in business, it'll stay that way! read more

Country Pet Wash - The pups - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mountain View, California

I always take my dog here because the bathtubs are a convenient height and they have all the products necessary for a thorough wash--face wash, regular shampoo, and conditioner. Amanda is doing a great job running this business. If you have a double-coated dog like me, bring extra towels, but the high-velocity dryer works great too read more

They have everything needed to wash and dry the pups. My second time there was a little bit easier because I had my kids helping with the dog wash. I just wish there was one closer to my home. I live in San Jose and went to mountain view, just to wash them. Great prices! I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to mess up their bathroom or doesn't have all the equipment to wash and groom their own pups. read more

bit friendly and nice but definitely only come if you're a regular or plan to be one. spent a chunk of money bathing my own dogs, thought it would be nicer to try out a different self wash location other than pet food express or hurting myself doing it at home. unfortunately $70 was not worth the hassle or witnessing the unease of a muzzled pet. completely understandable, but if it was any issue i'd like to know at least before coming, especially with no issue! all animals are liability in general but if we can't understand the behavior or judge by looks or even just asking questions, what's the point ? was pretty good for the most part but felt the unease because of my dog haha, just wanted to get out of there read more

I came here at 10 am and it is closed on Saturday . There are one more customer wants get in. Now 10:30 still no one is here.

Great service great cleanliness just all-around a great vibe my dogs love it and I love it too!

The low stars are for the price. It's not their fault that I didn't ask. I just think it's completely unfair pricing. Whenever I go stay at my sisters in Morro Bay, where the price of everything is outrageous because it's a tourist town, it costs me 12 dollars for self service dog wash. Country Pet Wash charged me $30.00 to wash my dog. She's 14 lbs and it took me 15 mins max. I wanted to be a regular but unfortunately I won't be back. read more

This place is so awesome! I have a large German Shepherd that hates to be bathed. Finding Country Pet Wash makes grooming so much easier than trying to do it at home. Amanda has also been very generous at helping clip his nails and trim the fur off his pads. Now, I don't dread my dog's grooming day. read more

Great customer service, but a little pricier than I had hoped. Of course, everything is pricey these days

Called for a quote to get my dog trimmed. Was told to send a pic of my dog, so we did. Called maybe 10 mins later to let them know we sent the pic and was hoping to be quoted. Whoever answered the phone, some girl, made a stupid comment "I'm really busy right now, It's not like I'm just looking at my phone" ... instantly ended the call. like ok? I called to be quoted for a service not for a smart mouthed comment and attitude. ‍ read more

My 12-and-a-half year-old vizsla hates having her nails clipped and we've even been not invited back to two vet clinics because she's too resistant (nipped a vet tech, I think). I walked in w her to the country pet wash (we had an appointment), and the young woman in charge had this great energy and can-do spirit that I think really made my dog at ease. We helped her up on the table and in no time, my dog's god-awful claws were trimmed to perfection! I almost teared up on the way home. It is so incredibly wonderful to find kind, friendly, competent people who clearly care about their service. My dog loves her mani-pedi! read more

The nicest dog people run this shop. Call ahead for trimming appointment and walk in for the washing station. They have a lot of experience helping your pup feel comfortable. My girl is so clean and soft today. Recommend 5 out of 5 stars every time. read more

Country Pet Wash - Pups getting dirty again - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mountain View, California

really nice people and clean facility. they do nice grooming there but I just needed a quick wash and go

It's a wonderful place to groom and self wash your pets the owner is wonderful very caring and helpful as well

i've tried to come on three separate occasions and every time they have been closed. I tried to call the phone number listed on the door and it goes to voicemail that is full and has an old message for October. There's no note on the door for customers to understand why they would be closed when they should be open according to their hours of operation. Pretty frustrated that I have attempted this multiple times. anyone else know of a dog wash place? read more

Amanda and her mom are both wonderful. They are helpful and do an excellent job. It is expensive but worth it. (In the Bay Area everything is expensive. ) read more

Everything is clean, Amanda is a wonderful groomer. Really cares for the dogs. Even when I go to wash my dog myself, it's very easy, all shampoo and accessories are within reach, towels are fluffy, tubs are spotless. My goto place for many years now. read more

My GSP hates having his nails done, Amanda welcomed us in, was incredibly fast and efficient. She clipped the nails, Luke never complained, then she smoothed off the results with the Dremel. Great job, very pleasant reception, very perceptive treatment of the dog. Highly professional. read more

I have been a loyal client with them for about two years since I moved to mtv. But recently I brought my dog for wash at 4:03pm , their close time is 5:00pm even at yelp they put 6:00pm I think. They didn't let me in because they said the last wash is 4:00pm. Today I brought my dog again at 3:50pm. The staff at store just said one word, "tomorrow " and didn't even open the door for me. If you wanna close earlier that is totally fine but why not put the hours publicly and clearly, don't confuse or cheat your clients. our times is valuable as well. No body wants to drive to your store over and over again. I will not go to their store in the future. It is not hard to find another place or wash at home. read more

I stumbled into Country Pet Wash a few years ago when I couldn't get an appointment at Petco. Since then, I haven't bathed my dog anywhere else. They have literally everything you need, down to the tub-side treats!! Amanda is awesome and really great with the dogs and people. She really knows her stuff. I have a big dog who gets really rowdy during nail clippings, but Amanda is a seasoned professional and takes him on like a champ. read more

We have been going here for years now. They have everything you need to get the dog cleaned and dried. We use self service dog wash station and every other time I will have Amanda trim my dog's nails. She does an excellent job. I have read some of the negative reviews and I will say that Amanda and staff are generally super nice and helpful. If you call on weekends when it's busy or interrupt her when she is working with the dog and trying not to get bit well yes, she can be short with you, but frankly I don't fault her for that. Prices are also super reasonable for this area and yes they take credit cards, I pay with cc or Apple Pay every time. read more

This was my first time bringing my pup here. I wasn't sure of how things worked but the staff was so awesome, helpful, and patient telling me the procedures and each one of their products. I wish I would've asked what products they use as I cannot always take Benny there! Loved the quality of their grooming supplies, ESPECIALLY the cologne! (Please share the names of the products! Hehe) I will definitely go back to Country Pet Wash! read more

Expensive! Cash or Check ONLY! (Hey, IRS!). $140 for a 10 pound Yorkie is not 'the going rate' (it's highway robbery) Amanda (so pull back on the attitude). Will not be going back! read more

Can't say enough about Amanda. She is so good with all the pets that come in, and Our Charlie really likes her even when she files his nails. I wash and dry Charlie and then Charlie gets his nails done. The place is always clean too. read more

Amanda and team are wonderful. My little anxious terrier feels safe, always gets well groomed. We mostly do self bathing but I get Amanda to trim his nails which is he is never very cooperative but is tolerant of her efficient gentle handling of this important task read more

Today we went to wash our dogs. We have been coming to this location for close to a decade and have had really great service. At some point in time ownership changed and wow!!!! As we entered the store today the owner screamed in my face three times to close the door. I am a dog owner, obviously, that's why I was coming there, so I know how frisky dogs get when a door gets opened. I'm sure the owner was worried that the two unleashed, recently groomed dogs who were near the door would escape. A couple of notes, please goes a long way, tone goes a long way and dogs on leash , which is one of the establishments norms. I think the owner was overwhelmed with the incoming people and the dogs and checking out a Client but this is part of customer service. It was really unsettling and we left, which is sad because it's the end Of a really long relationship with this place read more

Was finally able to visit. Have since returned a couple of times and found them really helpful. Upon entry, they ask you what type of shampoo you'd like. Multiple supplies are available on a table in the middle. Clean and spaced. Haven't had a problem finding parking in their lot. read more

The owner Amanda is volatile. After washing my dog for 5 years. She refused service to me because I had to change an appointment due to the storm that affected my commute. There were trees blocking my route. She also insulted me without provocation by saying she didn't care if it snowed or rain or anything ,I had to make the appointment. Getting an appointment was exhausting. One had to text get multiple times. Additionally she kept dogs for hours. The appointment time was just a suggestion...For 6 years i took my dog there and paid with cash and tipped her. It's unfortunate to be treated like this for wanting to change an appointment. read more
