Teddy Bear received a bath + haircut (pictures will be posted after this). Teddy was a bit scruffed looking from an overdue haircut, his feathers were in dire need of a trim! When I received Teddy back I was beyond happy, he looks like a puppy again! He didn't seem stressed or anything which is a huge bonus meaning that Jimmy did a fantastic job handling him. Jimmy from Wagmore was awesome for a quick nail and paw pad trim for our very anxious, 2-year old Jindo terrier mix, Wally. We made sure to have a soft mesh muzzle put on Wally before going in to see Jimmy, but once he was there, the trim only took about 7-8 minutes total. Jimmy was super calm + quick. You can tell he has a true heart of compassion and love for dogs. Note: Jimmy doesn't do the full grooming package for larger dogs (our dog is ~45 lbs), so keep that in mind. Jimmy groomed all four of my West Highland White Terriers from the period he was an apprentice of highly respected certified master groomers, through his own certification and finally to the point he began Wagmore. I am first time dog owner and as you can imagine I was very nervous when I had to send my 4 month shih tzu puppy for grooming the first time. Jimmy was very understanding and he took great care handling my puppy. Four months later, we added a second shih tzu puppy and again Jimmy was our groomer of choice. Jimmy does a wonderful job on our 2 elderly Westies! He comes to our doggy daycare so the pups don't have to leave an environment that they are familiar with. It really helps make the experience efficient for us and low stress for the pups! The Westies come back with beautiful petticoats and perfectly sculpted faces. The shampoo he uses smells great for days. Our pups are prone to ear infections, to make sure they stay healthy Jimmy always does an extra ear cleanse on them. I was a "monthly" customer of Wagmore for a few months, until Jimmy didn't show up at our appointment time the week before Christmas 2018. When I contacted him he was many miles away still doing a grooming. This wouldn't have been a big deal except I mentioned that I would have appreciated a heads up so I could have done my necessary appointments before he came - but because I had stayed around waiting for him I no longer had time to do my appointments afterward and therefore could not stay to get a grooming that day. I run a business and am a single parent, and need to get many things done on deadlines. He said he had a window of time to arrive -- but I never understood that to mean possibly hours late with no notice. I asked to reschedule since I could not stay, and he said I'd have to wait 5 weeks since he was so busy. He then said good luck with your dog and new groomer, essentially firing us. All I said was I wanted advance notice if he was going to be late - he had never been late before, only early (which I rushed home to accommodate at his request). I guess Jimmy has more potential clients than he has time, so he can "fire" and treat us with disrespect. His trimming of my pup was just ok. Not as good as our groomer at a brick and mortar, but I was willing to continue for the convenience. Within a week of what is supposed to be a short "puppy cut" our pup had hair in her eyes and I needed to get my own trimmer. The premium for mobile grooming ($130 for Jimmy vs. $85 at Trim Los Gatos) seemed worth it to save the time for me and stress for my pup. I never mentioned to Jimmy that I walked past his truck during one grooming and heard him shouting loudly having a conversation on the phone over the sound of his generator as he was grooming my dog, which I imagine would have caused her more stress in addition to being washed and trimmed. I had hoped he'd interact with her in a soothing way, not pay half attention and shout on the phone during any grooming. read more

Jimmy is wonderful with my little Shih Tzu, Foofool. He is like a dog whisperer. For years I had to sedate my dog before taking him to grooming since he was scared. Then I found out that he has heart murmur and I had to stop sedating him. No more pills. I was so lucky I was referred to Jimmy and he is just amazing. I cannot say enough about how great Jimmy is! My dog Max is my fur baby and he is definitely a handful. Max is a mix of Terrier, Pomeranian and cranky old man! Had a great experience with Jimmy. He gave me great advice as well about caring for our dog, which we just adopted the day before. He is professional, on time, courteous, clearly very caring and knows what he's doing, and is the sole owner and groomer of his mobile pet spa. He was very attentive in wanting to know my input into exactly what kind of cut I wanted for my dog. Being a newbie dog owner, I asked him for his recommendation. I was very happy with the result. And my dog came back the same as when he went into the van - mellow; no traumatic experiences here. At the end, Jimmy also reviewed with me how it went and what parts my dog was a bit uncomfortable with and how to get him acclimated to specific parts of the process for next time (the nail trimming part). Jimmy is very responsive with texts as well. In fact, this was a very last minute appointment. I texted him yesterday for an appointment today (to see if there were any last minute cancellations) and he got back to my initial text within 10 minutes.
