Best water park in Houston, Texas. This park has the most thrill rides out of all other water parks in the Houston area.

Brain Drain water slide. Must try. You're standing in a enclosed capsule then dropped down into a water roller coaster. Lasts 17 seconds.

I had fun, but was just blown away with the prices and my personal experience. It's $40 entry, $10 to park and $10 for a locker. This price includes all day PLAY. Meaning if you want to exit park, go to lunch you can reenter the park at no additional charge prior to closing. If you plan to go again ever in the open season it's only fiscally proactive to purchase a season pass. Be sure to bring picture ID because there is no debit card transactions. I had to park pretty far but there was a free trolley like every 5 minutes, hallelujerrs! I went on a Sunday early afternoon and although I didn't feel too crowded while migrating the playground, every ride averaged a 15-20 minute wait or longer. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT wear your good flip flops or swimsuit cover up because most rides you will have to remove. I wore my pink ADIDAS flip flops and someone decided to take only my flip flops from the flip flop pile. This was beyond desperation, but they don't have anyone monitoring everything they enforce you to remove. After that I couldn't think about anything else and been looking at folks feet since I left park :-! The staff at this park were helpful, patient, courteous and friendly. My tip would be to instead of getting a locker, purchase a waterproof phone pouch which you can wear around neck (they sell at water park and Bed Bath and Beyond) which will fit your Phone, cash/credit, ID, and key. This will save the over priced locker rental fee. Also prior to trip go to McDonald's or HEB and get the coupon for $8. These run out quick during weekends so get early if possible. Final tip: Be sure to try the Brain Drain with dropped floor before all rides. Once you do this ride you'll be prepared for anything else to come. With the Astroworld/Waterworld combo park bulldozed into a parking lot, only one theme park option is left for Houstonians, really. Sigh. Poor Astroworld. I grew up going there, using both the rides and water park - but it is no more. Splashtown is a fine water park but is kind of a disappointment after season passes to Astroworld got you all of these water features plus the Greased Lightnin'. I'll admit, though, I am far too chicken to do a lot of the water rides. While I'll go upside down in a roller coaster, you can't put me in a dark tube and push me down through the rushing waters. And, the Tornado, forget it - I cower before it and then make a bee-line for the lazy river. It's not that Splashtown itself is bad. It is just adequate though. The rides and premises are in dire need of an upgrade and the park isn't big enough to really sustain interest for the entire day. If there were only something new to do every once in a while... Luckily, admission is much less than the park down in Galveston and this one is closer. So, if I'm feeling a need to tube on the lazy river, Splashtown it will be. But I still miss my theme park.

This was such a terrible experience! Don't come here, do your self a favor and go to another water park. Every person that worked here had the worst attitude ever. It was like a requirement that you must have bad attitude to get a job at this water park. They were ridiculously extra for no reason. When you are about to get on a water ride, they demand you to get in the right body movement, for example to cross your legs and put your hands on your chest. Literally screaming at you. Not just one person, all of them. The wave pool was non-existent, they would do 5 minuets of waves twice the hour. So you only experience 10 minuets total of waves in the whole hour. Parking your own car cost $10. Food is over priced but that's expected at an amusement park, won't come here again.

This place is bad. Go to the one in San Antonio. It's better, gunner and the employees are nicer. It's in six flags if you're wondering -w-

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

I really loved that even adults can join in--sliding, jumping, and just having a good time right along with the kids. Because it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the experience even better. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves without feeling overwhelmed. The party itself was great. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good. The boys went home full, happy, and satisfied. All in all, it was a great way to spend a Tuesday night, and I'd definitely recommend Slick City Action Park for a kids' party or just some active family fun.

That was my fault because I thought it was adult night since the times were 830 to 1030 neon night. To my surprise, I walked into the venue to see many children and adults . They do have adult nights, but it wasn't the day that I went. Pro - I really enjoyed riding down on the slides and surprisingly it wasn't a long wait time, despite the large number of people in the venue. A by the end of the night I definitely got my 10K steps. Con - I hate that we had to pay full price for entry despite waiting in line for almost 40 minutes. The second con is enforcing the policy to where their specific socks versus any grip socks. Overall, it was a very great time! They do have other activities available: basketball, dodgeball zip lines. I didn't really participate in those areas except the mini zipline , but it's nice to know that they have other options available for people other than slides.

Not only was the Boardwalk Bullet a blast and a half to ride, but my back and neck were A-OK after I got off. No problem with whiplash whatsoever! One of the smoothest wooden rollercoasters I've ever been on, in fact. If you are 100+ years old, frail, barely able to walk and such, but yet you're trying to decide whether or not you should try a ride on the Boardwalk Bullet, I assure you, you'll be fine! How about this: #1000, I'm the first one to write a review on it, and one of the great rollercoasters in the country. The Boardwalk Bullet opened in 2007 a few feet from Galveston Bay. It's a woodie, and it's a crazy one. I had heard that the Texas Cyclone was relocated here from Astroworld, that DID NOT happen, these are two very different coasters. From a distance, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. The reality is much greater. First, you're waiting in line, and when the train zips under you, the entire structure shakes. Second, there is a place to put your hat, purse, phone, etc.; loose articles are prohibited. If you're nervous about riding, simply step through the train and leave, although you just lost $6 by doing so. If you do sit down, you're in for a thrill. I rode near the back, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between front and back. The Bullet never slows down from the first drop to the finish. There are three big drops, and they're all gnarly. The big feature, indeed is speed: although it barely goes over 50mph, the turns are tight, the drops are sudden, and you have only a split second to prepare for anything. The Bullet packs a lot into a small space, which makes it more intense than 80mph on a 200-foot drop. Its high noise level increases the excitement level. It's like a smaller version of the Ghost Rider in California's Knott's Berry Farm: smaller, shorter, but the same out-of-control feel. Some coasters are yawners. Others have you say "hey, that was pretty good." The Boardwalk Bullet is one of those that you'll want to ride again and again and again.
