The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good. The boys went home full, happy, and satisfied. The park was not crowded, and our 2-year-old was able to spend as much time as he wanted at each activity without having to wait. Even though it was a hot day, there was a good amount of shade throughout the park, along with lots of picnic tables where families could sit, relax, or enjoy a snack. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated that they had two family restrooms available. You could spend the entire day there. They also have plenty of comfy seats to just kick back and they sell snacks but it's a mall so if you're hungry there's plenty of food outside of the park. Noah at the front desk was doing his absolute best (props to him!), but he was alone and clearly overwhelmed. Management -- give this guy some help! Heads up: the Groupon doesn't cover taxes or socks, so be ready to pay about $15 extra per person at the door. That wasn't clearly mentioned anywhere, which felt a bit sneaky. Once inside, the experience is much better. The slides are amazing -- well-designed, clean, and surprisingly varied. The bounce zones are split into dodgeball and basketball, which is fun, though some supervision or age separation would make it safer. There's a great toddler area (under 3.5 ft), but not much for kids just above that height -- a bit of a gap in options. The swing jump was nostalgic and fun, but poorly managed. Only one hook for two lines made the wait unnecessarily long, and there wasn't much staff presence to keep things moving. Concessions were fine -- typical venue pricing, nothing outrageous. Overall: Worth it if you're using a Groupon or season pass, but arrive early, expect delays, and bring extra cash. Once you're in, the kids will have a blast.

That was a little steep to me. Refreshments are also expensive. A bottled water is $5. It it is 2023 so was to be expected but still a little disappointing. The skates are definitely old and several pairs are missing stoppers. I did see the attendant cleaning the skates so that was impressive. We decided on Funplex because it was the only place that was available for open skate. Other rinks have limited hours or lessons during the week.

This is set up OUTSIDE of Katy Mills Mall... on the parking lot, to be exact. It's fairly obvious and easy to get to. We went with our 2 young kids, ages 3 and almost 7. We watched Jurassic World 2 nights ago to be prepared and the experience largely follows that movie. You're one of the visitors to Isla Nublar and you get a VIP tour that also includes seeing the hatching room and petting baby dinosaurs - namely a parasaurolophus and ankylosaurus (Bumpy). You also see the raptor cage and even sneak past a T-Rex! No Pterosaurs though. We heard there's a chance of jump scares courtesy of Blue, BUT that didn't happen on our tour. I assume it's because our group had a lot of young kids. A bummer (we prepared our kids for any possible ones, but it didn't happen). There is a human in the Blue costume. I felt that part was fairly tame - the fog machine helped set the scene but it was still PG. Maybe even G. Overall, it was pretty fun! For about $20 per person including the discount, it wasn't bad because the animatronics were pretty impressive. Family friendly, though one kid (maybe aged 7-8?) was scared with the T-Rex. Videos and cameras are allowed, just no flash. You get many photo opportunities throughout, staff will help you with photos, and you have a chance to buy the ones you take at the beginning. They have a gift shop where most of the things are overpriced (shirts, plushies). I grabbed a magnet and some postcards. I was also tempted with the posters. The biggest thing is they clearly favor certain dinosaurs over others. My daughter's favorite is stygimoloch but other than him appearing in the tour, he had no merchandise. On the plus side, I didn't fork over $30 for a Stygi plushie or shirt. I also wish there was a jump scare to make it feel completely worth it, but it was still great fun - especially for dinosaur lovers! Got home a few hours later and my 3 year old kept on saying how the dinosaurs were fun. Expect to spend no more than an hour there though.

Just my opinion but I'd modernize those 1950s elements to make the experience less "Munsters" and more "Monsters Inc."...but with todays "Maxamalist" trend, most people will probably appreciate the "WKRP in Cincinnati" vibe. Overall, from an artist perspective it was too much junk and not enough art in the mix. They still could have used all the junk...just in a better way in some areas. I liked the doors disguised as other things..vending machine, elevator, fridge and etc., and the concept of the tornado room but I thought it was weakly executed if the goal is to portray a tornado I would have liked to have seen the car tilted on one side like it was lifting off and possibly a bit of "wind" in the room,..the water hoses all over the place needed an exaggerated shadow or something.. but the little kids and 20-30 year old's and non artsy people would easily love it and artsy people who can just throw random paint on a canvas and call it art...those people would love it too. Maybe I've grown old and judgy because I kept finding things I wanted to "do over" or "tweek" for them. If I could just turn that off and appreciate what is already there it would have changed the whole narrative for me. Apologies to the masterminds who created all of this, on the whole it is a brilliant masterpiece. The seek and find room was fun for the kids and the rotating blacklight was a nice touch...but it was soo doomsday with all the brown and black..and I get it that its supposed to be stuff submerged in dirt but the 80s girl in me would have preferred sand instead of dirt or at least a layer of sand near the top and possibly a tiny ray of breakthough sunlight from the ceiling and maybe a layer of "water" (clear turquoise epoxy maybe?) on top to give it a ray of hope among the gloom. The dungeon room where you line up the radio waves to make lightning overhead had all the elements of being a fun room with its little alcoves, cute little cave monsters, musical wall and etc but only one person in our group of 8 was inspired to try all the things in that room...but to be fair, she's the one who downloaded the app that helped you discover all the things the room had to offer and it took a long time to make the cool ceiling light up. The little kids were so excited about going through disguised doors they forgot to look in all the cabinets to discover all the cool stuff in the break room and a few of the other rooms. Seriously, if you go, download the app..it makes the experience way better. Its not really a place you'd enjoy as much if you had mobility issues..there is an elevator but going to the elevator breaks of the flow if you are with a group with kids who want to go up and down every 5 minutes. Actually, there was a second elevator but it wasn't operational when we were there. The bathrooms were very clean and we appreciated that there were places to get a drink (cowboix hevvven) or snack (the littles got rice crispy treats) inside the attraction.
