So this is a small park, with basic amenities. But this review is more of the Northwest cycling club that meets here every saturday morning at 730 am for rides. The rides vary from 8 miles up to 60+ miles. They have designated paths and they depart by speed groups. There is even a beginner's group that is no drop, meaning they will have someone in the front and the back to make sure you don't get lost and help you if you have a flat. These people are awesome! And what's better is they are FREE! It's a long drive but you must leave the city to find roads you can ride on. Would be 5 stars but the people who live around here aren't always the nicest.

    Splash pad is awesome!

This place is amazing. Huge playgrounds for the kids one side of the park has a train ride the other side of the park has a huge Splash Pad it's amazing my son asks me everyday if we can go back to the splash pad. They also have a workout center outside which is pretty awesome !

Cool place to workout if you're bored of the gym. You can run but they also have workout stations. Like pull up bars dip bars and a lot more

Live steamer trains and scale trains free to public one Saturday a month. Arrive early to beat the lines.

Ask the Community - Zube Park

    Is there a entrance fee?

    No there is not

    Are dogs allowed?

Yes but they have to have a leash

Is the splash pad only open certain days?

I believe the sign says it is open everyday through September.

Do they have a basketball court?

No basketball court at the Zube Park off of Becker. Not sure about the one off of Roberts.

Do they do train rides every Saturday? If so, how much does it cost? I'm only in town this weekend!

No I believe it's only the first Saturday of the month. But even so, doubtful they would have it this weekend with the weather.

The splash pad is huge and even my 11 year olds have fun for hours.

This is such a great park for all things! I did some research before coming and found the…read moreplayground with the zip line is the second entrance into the park. It's also where the workout machines are which is so cool! It's also covered. There are two rentable covered pavilions with a smoker/ grill and sink with water access. There are also smaller covered areas with picnic tables which are first come first served. It has a bathroom which was actually clean and nice inside. This is just one area of the park but there is a huge pond to fish, a large walking trail around the pond on the other side and I've only explored a portion of this park. My kids loved it. We will be back!

The pavilions are covered with ample seating, there's a nice playground nearby for the kids, and lots of open grass for games. The bathrooms are pretty clean and close by. There is also ample parking. We visited in mid October and while it was still pretty hot, the shade of the pavilion makes for a nice day out. We were able to play several games in the nearby grassy area - making sure to drink plenty of water! There are a few trees so it isn't totally open but large enough for group games. There's a ditch area further out that's pretty easy to retrieve balls and frisbees from if they go too far. All in all a solid picnic option!
