YET ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL FIND! Our Sunday funday was another win. This park in hidden in neighborhood.. just follow your GPS and park on the side of the street where others will definitely be parked. Love the layout of the bridges spread out across the park. Beautiful fountains are found on both sides of the park with a fairly nice path that goes around. A great weekend walk!

It's similar to the McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park in that it's very well maintained, has nice water fountains, and is scenic/photogenic. So if you enjoy Centennial Gardens but not the drive there, this is another perfect place to be (just a bit smaller than Centennial.) It's quiet and located in middle class neighborhood. Don't expect to bbq here if that's what you're going for. There is a cement pavement trail to jog/bike on. There is no dedicated parking lot so expect parking on the roads to be busy. (No parking meter)

Great addition to the neighborhood and a terrific place for walking. For dog owners, there are plastic bags and waste containers conveniently placed (thank you for picking up after Fido). Lots of turtles inhabit the ponds and enjoy sunning themselves until they hear the walkers coming! Usually well maintained, but please, people, don't litter!

An oasis in the middle of a subdivision, with beautiful landscaping and architecture that includes various running water features. Walking the nicely paved route fully is approximately 2 miles. Street parking only, and it's limited. No drinkable water provided or restrooms, but there are doggy bags for your pet should you not have your own.

Love love love this park! It's one of my favorite parks. Close to home and it's inside a neighborhood so a lot of people don't know much about it. Went for a run around 9am on a Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was cool and so perfect. It was still early so there weren't a lot of people. The view is absolutely blissful. There's these little birds that fly around pretty low and it makes you feel like you're in a Disney movie lol. They'res two sides to it with fountains. I love the view of the water as well. This is one of the most peaceful parks I have been to. I love this place so much.

Hidden gem! Loved it. So peaceful. If your taking photos here just don't get in the way of the people who walk the track here.

In a city that is known for tearing down and paving over so much of our history, it is wonderful that this was saved and has been made into a place that visitors can visit and experience. I went with some friends from Kingwood on a Photo Walk of the area, we were lucky that the light and sound experience was still going on, each column in the cistern has LED lighting that changes to the tune of some aethereal music playing silently, the acoustics of the cistern make it sound so beautiful and mesmerizing. When you purchase your ticket online you choose one of the available times, upon entry they give you 30 minutes, the time passed quickly. Be ready if you are taking pictures or better yet, a video. Smart phones work great but you might consider turning off auto focus and just focusing manually if you know how because when it gets dark for a moment and then the lights come on most cameras auto focus has to search for focus so it goes in and out of focus. When you leave, there is a skateboard park up above and worth some time for taking pictures of the acrobatic skating going on.

The event was called Diner en Blanc an all white exclusive event, with pictures, food, live bands, fashion shows and more. Their catering was ok but for 100 pp for food is a hard no for me. The group we were with was ok had higher hopes but that's the ultra friendly side of me talking It was at buffalo bayou park but because of the rain lots of people (Angela) clothes were filthy There was nothing missed, our people showed up and showed out. The live band was very good, music for all age groups. Now our people forget what copy paper white looks like, they clearly said no off white, beige, cream, egg shell but they had all shades of whitish

Here and there, I spotted a delicate cherry blossom and a few early blooms, though I wish I had visited at the peak of flower season. The garden itself is exquisitely designed and every corner seems crafted for peace, and I truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere. It felt like a small escape from the city hustle. That said, I did notice the cleanliness was a bit of an issue; the garden could definitely use some extra care to keep it pristine. Another small drawback was the restroom situation. There are only two available, and both were quite busy, so I ended up waiting a while and eventually decided it wasn't worth it. Still, the park draws a lovely crowd with people come to stroll, reflect, and soak in the beauty. If I'm in Houston again at a better time, I'll absolutely return to see the garden in full bloom. It has so much potential, and with a little more attention to detail, it could be a true hidden gem.
