This is one quaint park located in the Fairbanks and Northwest Crossing neighborhood. By looking at the address and the trees in the park, I see pine trees everywhere. This is my favorite place to exercise when I need some fresh air.
Facts:
The walking path is cemented and about 1/3 mile per lap.
There are 4 sets of picnic table with standing grill.
No public restroom.
Has playground with modern slides and safety features
Since it's attached to a school ground, it appears to be bigger.
2 tennis courts are not fully caged and they need a little TLC.
According to City of Houston, this 7-acre park was acquired in 1958. I can't confirm but almost always true with public parks, picnic tables are first come first serve. For further inquiry, go to http://www.houstontx.gov/parks/ourparks/ read more
