Chicken, bacon, cheddar, and ranch wrap with sweet potato fries
Erin C.

Good food, good prices, and friendly staff. It's a small diner with a fun setting. Everything was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our lunch. I upgraded to sweet potato fries which weren't an up charge on our bill which was nice. They were delicious. I was a tad sad that the ranch isn't homemade (the Detroiter in me loves homemade diner ranch!), but overall it worked in the wrap nicely. Dad's Bellybuster meal was large & yummy. Worth the price. They have wifi and the password is on the wall to use. They take cash and cards. Parking is easy in front. There is patio seating and a counter area to sit at as well. We'll be back I'm sure. Thanks!

Breakfast Quesadilla

Really enjoyed the Westside Diner, especially the breakfast quesadilla. I was concerned that it might be too spicy, as I have a low tolerance for that, but it was actually very flavorful and not at all hot. Those of you who are wild for hot food can always add hot sauce to it, but of course I passed on that option. Try it for yourself on your next visit here!

Country fried steak

Best Country fried steak I've had. The Gravy completes this dish. The Monte Cristo was filling they were generous with the meat but the cheese was almost absent. The seasoned fries were good. Our friends got the grouper sandwich which they said was super flaky tender and really good. The staff was nice.

The meal was great, if you come here I highly recommend the fries and chicken wrap! (No bacon) The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and people were quiet and wore smiles, they have a sign with free gift cards if you can't afford a meal, how amazing is that!! The only problem I have with this establishment is poor time management. We asked for our waters 10 minutes ago, helllloooo?! 4 stars, would come back.

Service was prompt and friendly. My burger was cooked to order...can be difficult to get a medium rare burger, but I got it here!

Great Food for the price! All very fresh! Super quick to serve--making this a great pit stop for our Roadtrip! Good music playing too.

Service was slow. Food was sub par. Really small space, so if you like eating right next to 10 other people this is the place for you.

Delicious! We tried the grilled chicken pita and the french dip and both were excellent. The fries were really good too. :)

Full bar as well including draft beers, custom margaritas and seating at the bar if you're wanting that. We sat at the table next to the kitchen and the noise didn't affect our normal level of talking and listening.

Prices were reasonable. 5-stars in these areas. My husband and I are trying to eat low-carb so we chose the Molcajetes Mexicana bowl. Definitely enough for two. Peppers and onions are suited with a flavorful sauce and covered with a flat, thin square of steak and chicken, a skewer of shrimp, chorizo and a chunk of cheese. A side of beans and rice plus tortillas are included. Interesting combination of flavors and textures. It was piping hot and looked wonderful. The meat tended to be somewhat dry and flavorless on its own but was more flavorful when swirled with the other spices and vegetables. The chink of cheese just seemed weird. We rated this main a 4-star. We would definitely return to try some other entrees. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

For $55 we got 2 horchatas, a small chips and salsa, shrimp taco meal, and the breakfast number 1. My daughter really enjoyed the homemade horchata, I like mine with a little more spice but it was very creamy, lightly sweet, and I would order again. Salsa was processed smoothly with very few pieces of veg if that's how you like it, the flavor was good, very mild. The chips were not homemade but also good for being the standard tortilla chip. The tacos are American style with flour tortillas, cheese, and sour cream which is not our preferred way to eat tacos so that's on us. If you like American style these were spot on. The rice was fantastic and the side of beans were pinto beans and not refried, also tasty but soupy. The scrambled eggs with carnitas were so oily that they were swimming in the bottom. Additionally the menu indicated they came with cheese and hash brown but mine was missing as can be seen in the photo (rectified immediately and kindly so absolutely not a complaint). The green salsa was minimal, would have preferred more as that was where the only real flavor came from. I wouldn't order again due to the oil. We may return and try again as the food was fresh, nicely cooked, the service was fantastic, and the place was spotless. We just like a little more authentic with perhaps different spice levels of salsa (little more spicy).

Ordered some take out, everything was absolutely delicious. I've saved the place for next time when…read morewe're in this area. The queso with chorizo was sooooo good! We got tacos al pastor and those were amazing as well, although next time I will ask for extra onions and cilantro, they were barely visible and | like a lot on my tacos.
