Best service that accommodates anyone! Great food - from wings and pizza to burritos and fish fry. Definitely recommend as a stop for anybody looking for a welcoming bite.

This is probably one of the best bars I've been too up north in a lot of ways. It's very spacious inside. The menu is huge. They have a soup and salad bar. Clean bathrooms. Staff is hit or miss (based on two visits) nothing terrible in regards to service but this last visit the waitress was very awkward and forgetful. First visit was with my mom, we got lunch and she was VERY impressed with her wet burrito... my mom is picky and judge mental with Mexican lol so that's a big deal. I got a club with fries. The fries were seasoned and super crispy which I appreciate. Great ranch. They have weekly specials that aren't on the menu so it's not just deals it's new menu items. This second time was with my husband and son. They loved their food! Good beer selection and full bar. Everything was well priced, served hot and generous portions. I haven't visited during peak hours or while the large stage was in use... so stay tuned. I highly recommend and will return

This was a hidden gem to eat at and would go again another time. Good food and good service although old inside.

Located on a cute main…read morestreet in Grayling, we were seated right away at the bar although the place was pretty busy. Nate ordered a beer and I got the peach raspberry mule, which was delicious - fruity and sweet, but with a bit of a kick from the ginger beer. We decided to split the feta and spinach pizza, but everything on the menu sounded delicious. They also have tacos, paninis, starters, salads, mac and cheese, and a kids menu. The bartenders helping us were super friendly and polite. Our pizza came out super quickly and it was so good. It had a ton of feta, and the veggies were fresh. I loved this pizza and would definitely come back for more in the future. I didn't love the ranch (I think it was just Hidden Valley), but it's still an easy 5 stars for me!

The food selection was just as good, with plenty of vegetarian options. If I were to get one thing again, it would be the plain mac & cheese. The portion is enough to share and comes with garlic sticks that are so good. We also tried two pizzas and both were better than most pizza shops I've tried in the area. The service is wonderful. Every single person was friendly. We liked this place so much we bought a tin tacker to hang on our brewery wall in California.

GRP&G is SOLID! If…read morelike me, you've found yourself jumping from brunch spot to brunch spot during the busy season in Grayling, desperately looking for somewhere to eat deep-fried food and perhaps enjoy a cocktail, while finding yourself with 1-2 hour waits, and questioning the meaning of life... look no further. Sure it's not fancy, and it's definitely not trendy, but the food is solid, the atmosphere and service are authentic, and everything is just good enough to make you happy you skipped the lines. You'll be home in a carb coma, long before you'd even be served downtown at the local brew pub.

I had the basket of chicken tenders with seasoned fries and she had a corned beef sammich with Cole slaw, and we each had a lemonade. The annual Au Sable Canoe Marathon is this weekend (which I was not aware of) and though the place was busy they seated us right away. Our server Katie was a regular customer and joined the staff not long after discovering the place, and we could tell that she enjoys her job. She's good at it, too. When in Grayling, come to the Gray Rock and have an appetizer or a meal, or maybe just a beer or two. Live music and a panoply of comedic talent takes the stage regularly. You won't be sorry you came!

Prices were reasonable. 5-stars in these areas. My husband and I are trying to eat low-carb so we chose the Molcajetes Mexicana bowl. Definitely enough for two. Peppers and onions are suited with a flavorful sauce and covered with a flat, thin square of steak and chicken, a skewer of shrimp, chorizo and a chunk of cheese. A side of beans and rice plus tortillas are included. Interesting combination of flavors and textures. It was piping hot and looked wonderful. The meat tended to be somewhat dry and flavorless on its own but was more flavorful when swirled with the other spices and vegetables. The chink of cheese just seemed weird. We rated this main a 4-star. We would definitely return to try some other entrees. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

The Grayling store has a good variety of items for the area. I come here from the South Higgins lake area. The wine, beer, liquor section is larger than other Family Fares in the area. I rarely drink but my 87 year old mother gets her way and they have Sobieski Vodka which makes my mother happy. My spoiled dog (all Mom's doing) eats FreshPet dog food. The Grayling store always has a variety of it in stock. The bakery, deli and produce usually has a good stock of items. Of course, I go during the week. They have a Starbucks in the store. The only one for miles. I buy decaf coffee beans and get the Pikes Place flavor. No one else in the area carry decaf beans. The parking lot could use some improvement. It's not a first good impression--potholes and barely visible lines. It always seems trashy. Inside the store is clean. Some of the aisles are not fully clear. All the employees are usually helpful and friendly. I personally cannot imagine what it's like to work in a resort area grocery store.
