Sebastopol hasn't had a great, easy, casual brunch place in so long that I hardly believed it when I stepped into this little, out of the way joint. So lovely! With a diverse menu and wide selection, it was hard to choose between eating a full meal or selecting a couple of their sizable, fresh homemade pastries and a coffee. I opted for a breakfast burrito with egg and sausage and a very delicious, flavorful homemade salsa with the right amount of heat. The folks who came with me had the vegan Thai wraps with fresh dipping sauce (YUM) and a stir fry rice plate with fresh veggies and egg (not as flavorful as I had hoped but I'd just had that salsa, so...). On my way out I decided to get a blueberry muffin and was very happy I did: dense, cakey texture with fat, sweet berries and a buttery top. EXTRA YUM! The staff is friendly and accommodating, as well, and make an extra effort with the small stuff. BONUSES: free wifi from the launderette next door; coffee and tea is local (Taylor Maid). i read the reviews and thought that this place might be good. they were quite nice and the service was fast but the food was bad. i should've just turned around when i saw all of the microwave ovens in the kitchen. they nuked the wrap that i ordered. it was caustically hot, with spongy eggs and sausage, and a damp tortilla. on the bright side, the coffee was serviceable. read more

I'm always looking for a good breakfast in Sebastopol. This may sound weird, but their Curred Chicken and Vegetable on Brown Rice is very good, and keeps me feeling good way past midday. I've also had their breakfast wraps (fair), and their won ton soups (excellent). The staff is very warm and friendly. Looks like most people come here for coffee and pastries - but, if you stop by, try the curry! read more

This place is hands down the best cafe in Sebastopol. Their blackberry scones are unreal, and the menu is tasty and has great variation. The smoothie menu is extensive and incredible, and they serve local brand coffee. Cute atmosphere and very friendly staff. Westside cafe is the perfect place to grab Sunday brunch, or stop by on your way to the beach, or just to grab a smoothie on the go. read more

I ordered a teriyaki chicken wrap and this is anything far from a wrap. It's way too much moisture to be placed inside a flour tortilla as a burrito would. The tortilla wasn't even closed to keep everything inside. If this is what you are serving at least be considerate enough to hand over some eating utensils with the so called "wrap" read more

Don't let the fact that it's tucked away in a little strip center fool you. This place is super delicious & very affordable. Small - yet diverse - menu. Only having a select amount of menu items means they do each very well. We ate lunch & shared the vegetable spring rolls & curry chicken wrap. Got a fruit smoothie to go. This was my first visit here. I ordered the Chicken rice plate with the lemongrass sauce to go. It was very bland. The rice tasted like Uncle Bens. And the price was higher than what showed on their website. Don't see myself coming back. read more

Be prepared to wait an extra minute so they can make most dishes. This is a great thing as everything is fresh and made to order. Oh yes...the coffee is great and so are there in house made baked goodies. Wonderful little tuck in and well worth the effort to find them. read more

This is one of our favorite places for a quick bite or smoothie. The green tea smoothie is super yum without being too sweet. (Hint: have them add 1/2 a banana.) The spring rolls are also a fav. This cafe has consistently been one of the best, if not the best in Sebastopol, for over a decade. I first stopped in when my son was in Kindergarten (he's now 17), and I have to say the service has always been impeccable; the coffee is excellent; the fresh baked pastries are delightful; and the more substantial lunch items are yummy and filling. And because it's sort of tucked away, it's often a peaceful place to settle in for a few minutes of quiet during the day. I highly recommend it! read more

Ok, I am about to get harsh here... I've been going to this place since before the current owners(who are very nice) owned it. I live around the corner and it is convenient. I understand that costs go up and prices need to go up as well, I get that basic business concept. However, I think the serving size should remain the same, no? You don't pay more AND get less. The breakfast wraps seem to be getting smaller and smaller and they are dried out. Bummer. The coffee is ok, but this morning it was weak. I'm over it. I would rather buy coffee at Chico's in front of Pacific Market. As well, the market has better breakfast burritos in the hot food area. Later Westside read more

Great place with simple, clean food for reasonable prices. The location may feel a bit odd, in a small strip mall with a 7-11, but the coffee is great (usually organic) and they have plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free choices on the menu. The women who run the place work extremely hard and really care about service and integrity. They have been very helpful and flexible when I wanted to get a chicken noodle soup with rice instead of noodles. They have a lemongrass salad with a rice vinegar-type dressing, a mild wonton soup, curry rice plates as spicy as you want them. In wraps and rice plates, you have a choice of chicken, shrimp, tofu or portabello mushroom. The food is not fancy or complicated, but good quality and you can sometimes get 2 meals out of 1 reasonably priced rice plate! Some other sauce choices are teriyaki, sesame ginger, mushroom. Good pumpkin bread and traditional scones, too. The women who run it are so nice, it always feels good to give them business! read more
