High quality coffee for sale in addition to their fresh pressed versions

This cozy little corner Café is neat and tidy with friendly Service. The kitchen is clean as a whistle and the food is pretty darn good! I only had a cheese quesadilla, so I can't really speak for all the food, but there were a few shelves of fresh baked goods at reasonable prices. They also have a sophisticated barista machine for high-quality coffee blends. A wide selection of smoothies are also available. While you're waiting for your freshly prepared food, there's some awesome, beautifully curated merch from Mexico and South America. Parking is decent and if you're lucky, you can find a spot right in front. A couple of outdoor seating tables and chairs are also offered, though depending on the time of day, it might get pretty hot!

The photo doesn't do justice to the darling details put into the craft.

A little hole in the wall place, hidden in a strip mall, with delightful staff and good coffee. We shared a large, delicious berry scone (we went later and the bakery was almost cleared out!) There's also a large selection of handcrafted items that were very cool. I bought the cutest stuffed animals for my granddaughter! Definitely recommend, and would go back if in the area.

So they don't have a lot of indoor or outdoor seating so plan accordingly. It's a relatively small cafe - and I would say that calling it a "cafe" is a stretch. It seems more like a small bakery shop that sells some Latin clothing goods. I had the best curry chicken wrap ever!! It was perfectly spicy and oh so delicious! I would come have just to have this wrap again and again.

The spring rolls are the freshest and best I've ever had, even better than at Vietnamese restaurants in the county.

They also sell some different breads. I ended up getting a triple chip, salted caramel, and a chocolate chocolate chip. Really moist and chewy. I like my cookies chewy not crispy. The next day still moist. The owner was very helpful, when we asked for a small cup of water. She gladly poured us a cup. Side note, I wish that I had known before hand . They prefer cash to credit. A lot of small businesses are hit with high processing fees for using credit transactions. I usually try to help support small businesses. But unfortunately I no longer carry cash. If I know ahead of time, like when I go to the farmers market. I will bring cash.

To start, I do think the per-cookie prices are a bit high. However, the cookies are good, and the charming shop and staff make up for the high-ish prices. The flavors here are really unique. They have many classics, as well as some specialties like lavender, cinnamon, and ginger. I really enjoyed the lavender one. It was satisfying but also refreshing, all stuffed into a cookie. There isn't really anywhere to sit here, but I think it's more of a to-go place anyway. A beverage and cookie make a great snack to walk down the streets of downtown Sebastopol. This is also a great place for a gift. My grandma ended up grabbing some cookies as a gift for her neighbor, and they wrapped them up so nicely for her.

I appreciated that the matcha was hand whisked instead of just quickly mixed together, which made it feel much more intentional and thoughtfully prepared. The latte itself was not overly sweet, although I personally would have liked a slightly stronger matcha flavor. Still, it was a great drink to walk around with while exploring the local shops and community around The Barlow. Between the atmosphere, the people, and the location, it's an easy place to keep coming back to whenever I'm in Sebastopol.

The woman helping me had dark hair, glasses, and beautiful tattoos down her arm. I ordered the sandwich and was asked whether I wanted a bagel or sliced bread. I asked about the croissant, and she told me they were out. I said that sliced bread would be fine. When I noticed I was being charged an additional $1.50 for the bread, I politely asked why there was an upcharge. Her response was, "Because we're out of croissants." I asked what the substitute was, and she looked at me and said, "Nothing." At that point, I simply said okay and accepted the bread. She then asked a young man behind her to take over, and he was very polite and finished ringing me up. A few minutes later, I could hear the woman in the back ranting to the staff, and she eventually disappeared into the back. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, and I certainly don't expect perfection. However, as a longtime business owner myself, I know how important it is to treat customers with courtesy and professionalism--even when you're having a difficult day. This interaction was completely unnecessary. I wasn't rude or demanding; I simply asked a reasonable question about a charge. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to remind staff that how you treat customers matters just as much as the product you're selling.
