This place is a treat. The name matches its vibey vibes. Gives off community atmosphere with a welcoming energy. The food is prepared with intention and presence -- prepare to wait for 10-15 mins. Fast internet lots of different type of seating, can be extra hippie friendly aka lots of flowy clothing and relaxed slow voice tones. Neat stuff for eating, drinking and browsing. read more

Popped in for a snack on a quiet midweek day and had a shockingly good avocado toast om gluten-free bread. It was small but absolutely loaded with delicious goodies on top and I was genuinely amazed how it was better than the average AT I've had elsewhere, even good ones. Super satisfying. Service was low-key and nice, the team seemed like they liked each other which is always a plus. Vibe was mellow and relaxing. Definitely plan to visit and stay longer than a quick snack experience. Seems like a great place to linger with a warm drink, a book, or do some work on the computer or with a notepad. There's an upstairs area I plan to explore, too, next time. read more

This place was recommended and my daughter & I very much looked forward to sharing a meal on Mother's Day. Unfortunately the entire experience fell short. We were told the fig jam on toast was a must yet the cafe was all out. So we decided on the charcuterie board. A few things that normally go on the plate were also out. As fig jam was one of those items They said they'd add some extra things to the plate. The hummus was tasty but no crackers to accompany it. I asked for some crackers and they were dropped off with no comment even after I said thank you. As there was no jam, honey was to be the substitute. It didn't arrive until we were done and it was dropped off in a plastic container with mostly only crystallized honey in it. The beverage my daughter ordered could not be fulfilled due to another item being out. I will say the ambience is really quite nice. And the young man at the register seemed friendly. It seems to me with the cafe being out of so many items that the cost of the charcuterie board should have been discounted and wax a tad high for what we received. Maybe an off day? Not sure. Possibly will give this establishment one other try. read more

All of my experiences here have been amazing ones; whether that's sitting for a hot drink and cookie, taking immunity shots post workout, or having a meal. The service is truly excellent and the ambiance is perfect. Lots of comfy seating areas and free WiFi. This is my new spot to get away and work on my projects. I even participated in a fashion show last month here that featured lots of local talented fashion designers. This space is what we needed! Love it here! read more

Soft Medicine is a health-oriented cafe and it was a great find on a recent roadtrip! First off, amazing drinks. I had "Endless Summer" and it had a strong ginger zing which picked me up. My friend had the "Passiflora" which looked equally delicious - there's a whole menu of these fun, healthy infusion drinks. There's snacks too, but I didn't try any. I loved the vibe with the hangout tables and the chill music playing in the background. It's definitely more of a place to relax and chat with friends than to get work done, especially since they don't have any power outlets (learned as my phone battery was near empty). A great spot with a good book on a rainy afternoon. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, catching up with friends or just enjoying the atmosphere. I had fun hanging out, even with an almost dead phone. read more

Such an amazing place, I always stop by to visit when I am in the area. The drinks are always fabulous, I've tried the warm ones and the cold ones! The service is excellent, my Mom stopped in to pick up some drinks and the Trifecta that he recommended was so delicious! The ambiance is so relaxing, I can't wait to come back and enjoy some food. I read some of the reviews and was disappointed that many complained about Soft Medicine Sanctuary. My husband and I stopped here on our way back from an anniversary outing in Armstrong Grove. While the menu is a bit limited, we found satisfying options - one gluten free. I'm not a beet person, but my Avo Wrap had some beets included and they really added to the flavor. My husband had the Hole Mole Tacos and they were great as well. We finished off with a Mochi Donut. Everyone was nice and helpful. Hope to come back again! read more

This review is for the food and the service only. I was with a friend, whose order the barista took right away. My friend went to sit down, while the barista ignored me for the next 10 minutes as she busied herself with making drinks, cookies, etc. Finally, she said, "Oh, do you need to order?" even though I'd been standing at the bar for that entire time. I ordered the Hole Mole Tacos ($18 for two). She asked me if I wanted cheese, which is not mentioned on the menu. When I asked her what kind of cheese. she said, "goat." I love goat cheese, but couldn't imagine it with tacos. I asked, " Do you have cotija?" to which she responded, "This is not your regular Mexican taco joint." She then went on at length about how their food is healthy and contains no sugar. Um, the last time I checked, cotija cheese has no sugar. So I asked her to omit the cheese, When my tacos arrived a full 15 minutes arrive after my friend's order, the tortillas had the texture of leathery shoe soles, and the filling was mostly unseasoned boiled sweet potatoes. It was very sweet and one-dimensional. When I asked for salsa, hoping for pico de gallo or tomatillo salsa, I was given Sriracha sauce and some bottled sweet sauce that tasted closer to maple syrup than hot sauce. The whole thing was inedible and unsalvageable. Oh, and they included the goat cheese I specifically asked to omit. I would rather get real soulful tacos at any "regular Mexican taco joint" for a third of the price any day, rather than dealing with these pretentious people who know nothing about good food or decent service. read more

This is another space that I really want to like. There's actually a lot of things that I do like about it. The ambience has a sort of neohippie living room feel to it, it's actually a nice space to really sink in and relax for a good, deep conversation with a friend. I think that makes it all the harder for the things that don't work and the reasons that I rarely patron this business. The biggest way that they shoot themselves in the foot in my opinion as their menu. It's overpriced which in and of itself is par for the course in this town, but it's too esoteric and for lack of a more elegant term, not user-friendly. They have cacao drinks that my whole party agreed was not good, they have a lot of tea if that's your thing, some strange food plates that you might get from your yoga bro friend who went into his fridge and threw a bunch of his fermented creations onto a plate to hold you over. They would benefit greatly from mainstreaming their menu a bit more and getting some competitively priced coffee drinks, iced tea and iced coffee, and running it more like a café. The service is never bad albeit slow at times. They tend to be open when they say they're going to be open and have pretty extensive hours. I dream of this space doing a little revamp and making it into something that I would want to go to regularly because I really do like the space. As it is my friends and I tend to bring it up as a possibility, sigh at its limitations, and try to find something else. read more

This is my favorite place to hang out whether I want to just go meet some cool people who are into health and organic sustainable lifestyles. Or whether I want to go just chill and get some work done all day. Or whether I want to go get some delicious healthy food or elixers I had my birthday party there this year and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the event happening in the dance room. The staff all feels like family. The managers Jonathan and Kakouti always chat with me and make me feel at home. EVERYONE is sooo cool and lovely. It's a real community. They've done an excellent job! The event space is beautiful, and there's just so much to look at and enjoy. I love the variety of things they have for sale and the little pockets of spaces to post up for a nice little time. The tea service is really delightful and fun plus a great place to buy tea sets! Loved my experience here! Nice chill setting, unique refreshing drinks and great healthy food. The tacos were to die for!

This padt Wednesday, we got here at 9 pm from out of town. Yelp sa9d they were open until 10 pm. The entire kitchen was already clean & the only thing available was coffee. Boy, were our two coffees small and CRAZY expensive. And the 6 ounce (?) cup was only 3/4 full. We're never coming back. Great vibe, though, so +1 star. read more

This space is so calming and beautiful. You can really feel the good spirits who have helped make it a home away from home for many. I'm a big believer in you can have all the right ingredients especially with food & drink, but if you aren't giving with the safety and healing that is Love, it doesn't mean much. Well I felt all the Love. A specific shoutout to Lizzy & Kaitlin (sorry if spellings are wrong!) for making my whole week last Fri. evening. What a heavy and stressful week worldly & for me personally. Her intuitive senses and kindness helped me find the best tea & gave me a shot to help ground me. Not only that but Kaitlin was there dropping knowledge and kindness. They both went above and beyond and days later I am still steeped in gratitude for them. Blessings to all who make this place soft and special - may our hearts stay soft like your medicine, yet protected during these times.
