    Check in could have been better. They didn't have an electronic copy of my orders (which was not their fault). I call my Doctor's office to have them faxed. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked the ladies at check in if they had received the orders and they said they had not. They told me the fax doesn't come to their office, but to "client services" downtown. I asked for the number to client services and when I called and explained the situation, the lady there was frustrated because the office I was at, could have called for them because they were sitting there, labeled. I was finally called back for the test, after being there for 1.5 hours (there were only 2 people ahead of me, when I arrived). Next time, and every time, I will call ahead to make sure they have the orders. As far as the actual blood-draw went, I would give the phlebotomist 5 stars.

    Now called Westpac Labs. Well, that is what the sign says anyways. Only been to this location once in my life. We came in on a Saturday about 20 minutes from closing time. Expected to see a full house of folks waiting to be seen. To my surprise, there was less than 10 people waiting! My wife registered at the little checkin counter. No issues at all. Within 10 minutes, she was called in. A few minutes later, she was out with a big smile on her face. My wife absolutely hates getting her blood drawn. Most phlebotomists have to fish around or poke her a couple of times before getting it right. The person who assisted her that day was exceptional. She immediately put my wife at ease, and got her blood flowing on the very first try! We both are fans of this Westpac branch located near Brimhall.

    Good morning. My experience at this location was great. Everything went out smooth. From the time we checked in 'til the time we're dispatched. The girls were super nice and professional. My two year old needed some lab work and this was the place I chose as we live nearby. I totally recommend this place don't be skeptical about the bad reviews. We all have different experiences so just go do your thing . They're really clean and have a little play spot for kids.

    Came in Tuesday and the place was packed at least 15 people in waiting room. I usually come in and it's empty, I guess everyone needed their blood work done At the same time. Not sure if they are short handed today. Place is clean, they have a kid section with toys in the back of room . They also have a tv on to watch while you wait. I actually didn't have to wait long. Nicole is who helped me and she was very nice.

    Bought our PAL. Re done check in procedure from PAL. Looks sane but is different operating system. Just pay attention!

    I had a very negative experience with the front desk staff at this OB office. The behavior I…read moreencountered was shockingly rude and unprofessional, especially for a medical practice that works with pregnant patients who may already be feeling stressed or vulnerable. The staff member at the front desk was dismissive, spoke in a condescending tone, and acted as though answering basic questions was an inconvenience. Instead of being helpful or courteous, the interaction felt hostile and unwelcoming. Basic professionalism and respect toward patients should be the minimum standard in any healthcare setting, yet that standard was clearly not met here. What made the situation even more concerning was the difficulty I had obtaining my own medical results. I needed these results to share with my high-risk pregnancy specialist, yet the office did not provide them to me in a timely manner despite multiple requests. Delays in accessing important medical information during pregnancy are extremely stressful and can impact continuity of care when you are working with multiple providers. It is concerning that the first point of contact for patients reflects such poor customer service and lack of empathy. Front desk staff play a critical role in setting the tone for patient care, and in this case the experience left a very negative impression of the entire office. I strongly recommend that the management address the conduct and training of their front desk team. Dr. Helliwell is knowledgeable, and I had a good rapport with him as a patient however, his staff, specifically front desk receptionist, is intolerable and unprofessional. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism when seeking medical care.
