I brought my kid here for treatment, and the assistant. Mildred was very kind, very patient and very thorough with the whole procedure.

We were new patients this this office. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment for any paperwork we had to fill out, and then we sat and waited. My boys were finally called back 30 minutes after their appointment time. My son was very anxious about his appointment and seeing a new dentist. The hygienist got him seated, but my son was unsure about laying down since it was a table, not a typical dental chair. The hygienist said to him, "if you don't lay down, I will need to take you to the baby room". Needless to say, that upset my 7 year old even more. How would a threat like this help a child?! Needless to say; we will never return to this office. I was appalled at the way the hygienist handled the situation. I expect better from a pediatric dental office. read more

The dentist offices were not this cool when I was a kid, otherwise I will not have a deathly fear of them. Kids love this place. Open and airy, no problem hanging and waiting for appointment. Whole area filled with toys for little people and a wall of video games for the older kids. The assistants and dentist are kind and put the kids at ease. Even when we had to do x-rays on my son at 4 yrs old. They were patient while we were getting him to sit still, keep the x-ray tray in place, and not freak out over the whole scene. They get to wear sunglasses during the exam and cleaning for the bright light. Not sure if it is pricey-I paid $125 for last check up/x-ray/cleaning (without dental insurance). Worth it to have good experience and having my kiddo ask when we are going back. read more

I was referred to Dr. Raymond by a friend of mine who took her kids to him. It's a bit out of our way but I will drive to the end of the earth for a great dentist/dr if need be. My son who's 5 was terrified of going to the dentist for the first time. We walked in and they had tons of toys and his favorite movie " Secret life of pets" on. It was meant to be. As a mother, I really appreciated how clean the place and toys were. Germs are everywhere and it seems they really keep up with the toy area, which I appreciated. We did have a hiccup with our insurance but the receptionist was patient and was nice even though I knew the situation itself (not her fault) was annoying. Once that was squared away they took my son back for x rays and the tech was so sweet and you could tell she had experience with kids. When my son went to another lady for his cleaning, he kinda freaked out bc he didn't care for that sucker device that sucks the saliva out but we made it through. I really liked that they kept positive with him and gave him stickers and he got to choose a couple of toys from the toy box. It made his experience fun. The dentist was SUPER LAID BACK and nice. He explained everything well and was also very good with kids and made my son feel at ease. I was very impressed with the office and Dr. Raymond and will def recommend him to others. If I could give no stars I would. Let's start with the beginning. My son went in for a dental procedure and was given the wrong medicine to help calm him down with his anxiety. It was administered through an injection when it was supposed to be administered orally 30 minutes before the procedure. My son has anxiety with the injections. So for it to be administered that way did not make sense at all. When I questioned it they told me that that is the way that medicine is administered. I later found out that is not the case and they administered the wrong anti-anxiety meds. My son had severe trauma from this experience.We had to go back to have his spacers put in. My son was very nervous about this appointment. Even though I assured him there was no pain, he did not trust me because I told him that the last time. So the anxiety was high. When's the dentist came in and started messing with his mouth my son let out a nervous Yelp. Nothing loud or crazy.. Just a nervous sound.This dentist had the audacity to cover my son's mouth with his hands To be quiet. I was shocked at what I just witnessed. And then he proceeded to do it again. That is when I told him that I had an issue with him covering my sons mouth like that and he responded "If I did not like it we could leave" while He was in the middle of putting the spacer in. I was left with no choice but to sit there as he treated my son awfully. Once he left the room his assistant even apologize for his behavior. We will not be returning to this dental office and in fact I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. This dentist is awful and should have his license taken away. read more

I'd recommend going here above all. Even if I ran out of insurance, I would GLADLY pay out of pocket for Dr Raymond above all others. If I had him as a dentist as a child then I would not be as terrifying as an adult as I am. My child is autistic and isn't always the easy to work with. *ALL* trips to Dr Raymond have been the most amazing that I have ever seen. Dr Raymond is helping to keep his teeth healthy, his spirit happy, and his emotions calm. Dr. Raymond is great. I have been bringing my children here for over eight years or so. I originally choose his office because he was on a list that provided care to our foster children and because his office was in a convenient area. We now have adopted three children, and we take them all to Dr. Raymond. He and his staff are great with the kids. My toddler had couple of decays which needed fixing b4 getting any worse. We visited dentists' office and my kid was perfectly relaxed by the kid-friendly layout with ample toys n books. The staff is nice and played with my toddler while say Dr. Raymond explained me the possible treatment and outcomes. He explained all the situations satisfactorily and urged to be contacted directly in-case I had more questions or concerns. On the day of the procedure, he and the anesthetist were reassuring and the doctors kept us in the loop all the way through. His office has small rewards for the kids just to keep them motivated. My kid went for the reward chest even after coming outta deep sedation! :) Overall will recommend his services. read more

My son recently got hurt while his very loose tooth poked it's root through the gum. we got a quick appointment and Dr Raymond absolutely made it so easy and pulled the stuck tooth out! For 12 years have gone every 6 months to Dr Raymond and staff for two kids. They are now 18 and 15. Switched dentist from pediatric to family dentist. One child had 4 cavities -- sealents has worn off or were partially gone. One of the cavities had been there at least a year-- even though we went to Dr. Raymond 6 months ago. Second child has a min of 3 cavities-- but possibly 8! They need to go in and clean out the grooves on the molars to see if they detect a cavity. All sealents were either worn off or completely gone. Every 6 month visit for 12 years, Dr Raymond told us they looked good. Would always recommend brushing a little better. But always a good report. Current dentist stays up to date with latest xray and detection equipment that helps find all these areas that should have been noticed and "watched" for problems. Unethical dentist! I took my son there to fix a small cavity between molars. He suggested a crown a few weeks before the procedure. At the day of appointment, I told him to fill it instead. However, he still put a crown on my son's tooth in front of me!!! That is crazy! The crown gave me son all sorts of bleeding and swelling problems for two years. I am glad that his adult tooth finally pushed out the crown and the problem went away. This dentist only wants to upsell his service. Buyer beware! read more

They were very kind, informative and caring toward my daughter and let her (and I) know what each step of the procedure was going to be. It turned out the second tooth did not need a filling, and I appreciated the honesty of Dr. Raymond and his staff on this (they could have filled it and charged us more, but did not.) Absolutely amazing office staff and Dr.Raymond is fantastic with the little ones! I hope I never have to take mine anywhere else! I found them after being told at another office (Texas Smiles- I have a review on them too) that my then 4 year old needed a root canal in a surgery center with full anesthesia. I went to Dr.Raymond for a second opinion and he did a simple in office filling while she watched a movie on the ceiling. All of my kids are never scared to go there and actually ask to go back! They have movies in every room and offer oral sedatives or "laughing gas" for the extremely anxious kids. The front desk staff are very helpful with filing with insurance. However, after a long search we found Dr. Raymond. The team at Westlake helped me figure out the insurance nightmare before our visit. They not only returned my calls but also contacted me to let me know about a potential charge. When it became clear we needed to wait on our first visit for several months the office staff was still friendly and helpful. It is clear the folks at Westlake care about their patients and work hard to provide excellent customer service. Do not take your children to Dr. Kyle Raymond. He is glib and callous, completely insensitive to the emotional needs of his patients and their parents, and treats his patients gruffly. As my son's dentist, he developed a treatment plan that involved a procedure for my young son. I made the appointment and followed the instructions given to me exactly as I was told to do so. My son was sedated with Valium and laughing gas and placed on a table. After he had begun, Dr Raymond informed me the procedure would actually take two seperate appointments and I would need to return another day for the exact same process. He also informed me that I had forced him to treat my child in a manner with which he is not comfortable, and asked me if it was my desire for him to critically injure my child. After he had finished the part of the procedure that he stated he was able to do that day, he scolded me that "this isn't how we practice dentistry here". During the procedure he left the room because my son was screaming and crying from pain and fear, and Dr Raymond said "I absolutely can't work this way" as he left the room. He criticized my tearful emotional response as the "problem with doing it this way". After I was home with my child, Dr Raymond called to speak to my husband and hung up on him; my husband had stated he would like to see him in his office first thing in the morning to discuss in person, and Dr Raymond stated that he "won't start my day that way" and hung up the phone. Dr Raymond put his own needs first at every opportunity possible in the entire process. I find it egregious that Dr Raymond blames his choices and behaviors in his dental practice on a parent who entrusted their child to him. read more

We always have an amazing experience at this office! From the administrative side to the hygienists and doctor, everything is superb. We took our son when he was about 14 months because he had tartar build up on his teeth. The hygienist was so kind and gentle with him that she was able to get most of it off. We go back every six months for check ups and cleaning. Mostly, I want my children to feel comfortable with the dentist. It's so hard to clean their teeth at such a young age, it makes us feel better knowing that they've got it taken care of and ensure we're on the right path. We have brought my son here for his dental checkups since he first turned 2 (He's 3.5 now). I've been super pleased. The hygienists are patient and kind and Dr. Raymond has a way with kids that puts them at ease and makes them think that going to the dentist is a fun thing. The front desk staff is also extremely nice and accommodating. My son, in the 5 minutes we waited for our appointment and to check out managed to line up every single truck across the waiting room that they had in the toy bin. We had to pry him away (or else we'd be there all day long) - and the front desk never batted an eye and offered to clean up his toy mess themselves - which is above and beyond in my book.
