When I expressed my concerns and explained that I had taken the day off work, the receptionist responded that there was nothing they could do and suggested I reschedule. After much pleading, I managed to keep my appointment. Once I arrived, I was informed that the procedure I required would cost over $4,000. This was even more frustrating given that I had previously undergone the same procedure with them four years ago. At that time they offered a payment plan seeing how the average joe cant just fork over thousands of dollars. This time they inform me they did not offer payment plans and the finance representative was quite rude. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dental office.

Every time I go here there is a new, very young dentist working. Swish just can't make it stick!…read more There are new faces here like it's a revolving door. A few months ago, I had see a dentist up in New York while on a work assignment. She told me I needed a filling on a tooth and not to wait. So when I got back to Austin, my wife booked appointments for both of us at the Swish office we have visited in the past couple of years. I shared with Swish I was told to see a dentist soon. Well trust me, that the worse thing I could have said. Now all of a sudden everyone jumps into action mode, taking all new x rays and cbct (which is a fancy X-ray). I looked it up. Their findings were alarming. I now needed 3 crowns and the fillings that go under the crowns plus 3 additional fillings. Why didn't the other dentist in NY say anything to me about all these problems? On my wife, she suddenly needs a deep cleaning and possibly some fillings redone because they are leaching.(their words). They tried to force us to schedule immediately and wanted to start my wife's deep cleaning that very day. We told them that we both had to return to work but then we were told they would not have another appointment available for several weeks to do a deep cleaning. We left there unsettled and I contacted a friend of mine who has a brother that is a dentist. I sent him a copy of the X-rays and he said he couldn't see anything other than the 1 tooth that needed just a filling. My wife went to another dentist and was told she only needed a basic filling. Who are these people? Why would they attempt to do such aggressive dentistry if it doesn't exist?

Arrived for treatment and waited almost 2 1/2 hours so we asked to be rescheduled. Was told we would be called next or "it will be a long time before we have an opening again". Opted to reschedule as I was not waiting again. Rescheduled visit was ok but when crown came in and that appointment was scheduled I was told our appointment was scheduled with the wrong doctor so it had to be canceled and rescheduled with the correct doctor but that couldn't happen until after school starts. The whole purpose in dealing with this in the summer is to avoid missing school. I don't know if this is a management issue or a training issue but it is unacceptable. We were planning on using this practice for orthodontic treatment but I'm not wanting to deal with repeated scheduling issues for long term treatment when we've had these issues to start care.

My old dentist of 4 years, started having issues with my Dental insurance ("Boo" Delta Dental) so we had to find another dentist real quick. Then we remembered that a new dental office was just built about a mile away. We check out the doctors, their educational backgrounds and the client reviews. We were happy with the information we received about Dr. Renken and his dental team. Upon my initial appointment inquiry, I was sent a link to gather extensive information regarding my medical history. I can respect this as your doctor doesn't know anything about you unless you tell them. My Hygienist was very friendly, she gave me a lot of pointers regarding dental maintenance and cleaning tips around my retainer. Dr. Josh Rankin examined me. Very attentive and personal. They asked a lot of questions about me. Which I thought was very important. Like I said, they only know what you tell them. Overall it was a wonderful experience, considering it was a dental office. All of the amenities are there, Tv, headphones and such. They will truly make you feel more comfortable about visiting your dentist. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

I recently had a gum infection that was painful and it left me feeling very anxious about having a cleaning just a week later. I am not one who routinely feels anxious about dental care, but I was really feeling terrified. After an appointment with Dr Guan, who is always very patient and informative, it was time for a deep ultrasonic cleaning after missing the last two years of routine cleanings. I was almost in tears, but right away, Wendy put me at ease and promised that my pain was her pain and she would make sure we both made it out pain free. She called Dr Guan back to inject some local numbing medicine, which isn't the most fun, but it did the trick and throughout the cleaning, scaling and lasering, Wendy watched my body language closely and kept checking in to make sure I was okay and not just touching it out. She was as comforting as a mama, without ever making me feel bothersome or "extra" about being nervous. She was also super meticulous about getting every bit of calcified plaque off my teeth. I really appreciate how thorough and gentle she was. So much so, that I gave her a big hug after and thanked her profusely. I have had braces, an implant, a crown and a below gumline root canal here and I have always been kept informed about costs, options, and preventative maintenance. I love my dental team and I am so beyond happy to recommend Wendy. She is awesome!

I started receiving bills from Cedar Park Modern Dentistry this week, which reminded me that I…read morenever wrote a review about my experience. I'm sharing this because I would want to know about an experience like this before choosing a dental provider. Earlier this year, I had a crown done by Dr. Multani, and it was by far the worst dental experience I've ever had. I've had several crowns done over the years, so I'm familiar with the procedure, but I had never experienced anything like this. The procedure itself was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I felt like my gums and surrounding teeth were repeatedly being knocked and poked during the procedure, and my face and mouth were swollen for several days afterward. That had never happened to me after a crown before. What made the experience even more frustrating was that Dr. Multani appeared to be extremely overbooked. She repeatedly had to stop working on me to move between other patients, and this happened numerous times throughout the appointment. It made an already stressful procedure even more difficult. My bite was off after the crown was placed, so I let her know and she made several adjustments, but it still didn't feel right. She suggested waiting until the next day to see how it felt and said I could come back if it still needed to be adjusted. I returned the following day, and unfortunately, the same situation happened again. She was working on multiple patients and I repeatedly had to wait for her to come back to me. After several more attempts to adjust my bite, it still wasn't right. At that point, I was concerned that continuing to grind the crown down would compromise it, so I decided to leave. Every time I tried to chew on that side, I experienced significant pain. Essentially, I couldn't use that side of my mouth to chew. The office offered to fix it, but after what I had already experienced, I did not feel comfortable having the same dentist continue working on the crown. The following week, we ended up paying another dentist (who I am very thankful for and who is now my current dentist); to fix the problem. That meant I essentially had to go through the crown procedure on the same tooth twice in less than a month and pay for the procedure twice. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of response afterward. We had paid Cedar Park Modern Dentistry in full before the original procedure. Once it became clear that the crown had not been completed properly and had to be redone, we began contacting the office about disputing the charge and even had our new dentist write a letter explaining the issue(s) identified when she examined my tooth. This was over 6 months ago, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through calling and leaving repeated voicemails we never received a response. Now, I'm still receiving bills from them this week (note they never returned the $1000.00 we paid them for what amounted to nothing). Unfortunately, the entire experience--from the procedure itself, to the repeated bite adjustments, to having to pay another dentist to correct the work as an emergency, and finally the lack of communication afterward--has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not return to this office and would not recommend it to others.

First the office is bright, spotless, and I was greeted by the friendly staff. I was seen by Dr. Jonathan Dizon. He found that I had a cracked molar and 2 fillings that need redone. This is why I was experiencing cold sensitivity. How Smile Haus missed that is beyond me and actually concerning. Our teeth are too important to miss something like that. Dr. Jonathan Dizon was extremely thorough with my examination. He spent time going over each tooth he had concerns about. He went into detail about why and how to fix each issue. I also have struggled with TMJ for about 8 years. He showed me each joint and how it plays a role into pain. Dr. Dizon gave me solutions and hope of a plan to treat my TMJ.
