Unfortunately, I've had some bad experiences with Dentisits. When I finally decided to take action I took a look at the reviews on Yelp and decided to give La Frontera Dental a shot. On my first visit I made it known that I was nervous but unfortunately, their block lost power before I could be seen by the Doctor and I thought... just my luck lol. They were able to get me rescheduled a few days later and I'm so thankful that I got paired with his dental assistant, Melanie. She listened to my concerns, assured me that I was at the right place, eased my anxiety and told me that they'd help me. She made me feel so comfortable which is exactly what I needed in that moment. When I was seen by Dr. Satish he assured me that we'd come up with a plan to get me feeling better. I received a plan of action which I could alter depending on my availability of funds (dental work is not cheap!). I've already been back for step one which were filings and that appointment went well. I already have my second procedure scheduled. I think I'll request Melanie to assist with any of my future visits because she just made me feel so comforted. But honestly everyone I've encountered there from the front desk staff to Dr. Satish himself have been very welcoming and extremely friendly. I definitely recommend paying them a visit for any of your dental needs!

Today was our second visit here and I really wanted to like this office but I left very disappointed today and now will have to search for another new dentist. It is already hard enough to find good medical/dental providers that are honest and practice their craft safely. I agree the checkin process is quick and easy, you can fill out new patient forms online. My X-rays and services needed were explained during my first visit. I signed two treatment plans for me and my daughter and scheduled follow up appointments to start getting our dental work completed. However today when I arrived at the office and paid about $350 it was not for what I was originally quoted. $204 was supposed to be for a cleaning and two upper fillings on my left and right. I was told I was only scheduled for one so I was very much confused about what I had just paid for. I had to show the treatment plan I signed and was told that is not what is in my chart. Okay thank you for reviewing the information. After having mine and my daughter's work done I am then told our prices have changed because they were using an outdated fee schedule....which I was asked to sign the new ones. These were not small price adjustments like $20/$30 the quotes were off by $70-$150. That doesn't make any sense that you cannot even provide me the correct quote so how do I even trust that this "new" fee schedule is correct. I have never had this happen. If anything I'm usually paying over and ending up with a credit. It would have been better to show me the different fee schedules and how my treatment plans were calculated wrong versus showing me to different plans with very different amounts. If you go here I would definitely have them double check your quotes and billing.

Eight months later, I'm still trying to get the rest of my money back. They received payment from both me and my insurance, but have only refunded half of what I paid. Now they're claiming I told them I didn't have insurance. Why would I tell them I had no insurance and pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket when I had coverage? That makes absolutely no sense, especially when we specifically discussed getting reimbursed through my insurance. They don't return my calls, and I'm still waiting for this to be resolved. I shouldn't have to spend eight months chasing my own money. Dr. Stone is wonderful, but this experience with the billing department has been beyond frustrating.

I was a new patient so I had extensive x-rays, scans, and photos done of my teeth, all of which were free of charge. My dental assistant was so kind and helpful and explained any questions I had about the current state of my teeth and my care plan moving forward. My dentist was also very friendly and supportive going over my care plan. Scheduling was super easy and Nydia was even nice enough to schedule my cleaning and fillings on the same day so I didn't have to come in twice. I checked in at the front desk for my appointment and was brought in shortly after. The waiting area has a TV, coffee bar, and mini fridge with cold drinks. There are also other activities in the corner, like video games and coloring pages, great for kids. Ms. Diana, the dental hygienist, measured my blood pressure and took x-rays. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and it didn't hurt at all. You can choose your polish flavor - cherry or mint. There are two TVs in the examination room, one on the wall and one on the ceiling. I watched a movie on the ceiling TV to help distract me. Dr. Janice or Dr. Peter will do your examination after and check for cavities. They will let you know if any future treatments are needed and explain any concerns. The dental hygienist or front desk staff will help you schedule your next appointment. They are flexible and ask your preference for times or days of the week to match your availability. They also offer an in-house membership plan if you don't have dental insurance. Kids can get a goodie bag at the end with little toys or stickers along with oral care items. Everyone really put me at ease and the environment is clean. You are in good hands here!

I went to K Family Dentistry & felt very confident in their honesty, and assessment of my oral health. They went through my X-Rays right in front of me, on a large screen. The Dental office I went to said I needed a $2200+ deep cleaning, de-scaling, & planing over multiple quadrants. They quoted me the price of a new car to fix my teeth. I couldn't finacially swing that, so I got no treatment at all. I want even offered the option of a basic cleaning. They also told me I had severe gum disease. Fearing hearing the same (or worse) this year, I dragged my feet on going to a new dentist. So sad, because I could've actuality used my benefits to enjoy 2 cleanings & fix my teeth at a more convenient pace! Now I'm scrambling to squeeze 2 fillings, a cleaning & a wisdom tooth extraction in during the Holidays...before my current Dental Plan goes away. Lesson learned. Not all dentists are the same!
