I received the gift of a timber Ridge zero gravity chair recliner last Christmas. I learned later that it was a purchase made by a family member of an almost new chair from someone who determined that they wanted the money more than they wanted the chair. Recently, when I pulled the chair out to enjoy some late summer/ early fall sun, I determined that the small plastic knob that screwed into the front leaning leg in the upright position that held the slide out tray for drinks and such was gone. i'm sure that's the small Metal screw that held the little plastic knob in place came loose and had at some point been vacuumed up and was gone. Knowing that I was the second owner I couldn't go back to Amazon where it was originally purchased and ask for parts, I had to go to the original manufacture, Westfield-outdoors. I emailed them in a very nice person named Karen responded and said if I could just provide some photos of the unit and the place where the part had screwed in so that they could identify the chair and the part that I needed. No worries, I completed that and returned the Photos and even though I have been informed that because, as a second hand purchaser, the unit was no longer under warranty, I said no Problem, I can't imagine a couple of small parts like this can cost that much, let me know and I will supply it... Within a day or so Karen got back to me and let me know that as a one time courtesy they would be replacing the parts at no charge to me! Well, isn't that nice!! After thanking her profusely for that gift within a few days the small package arrived and in five minutes was quickly installed back on my chair and all things functioning perfectly again!! In appreciation, I sent a thank you note back to Karen and Chris who apparently helped in the process, letting them know how much I appreciated everything they have done for me and that the chair was all fixed again and I was very Happily laying in the sun! thank you again Chris and Karen! I received two Sand Bar Low-Profile Go-Anywhere Chairs [https://www.westmarine.com/buy/west-marine--sand-bar-low-profile-go-anywhere-chair--18767004] for Christmas a few years ago, which my family had purchased from West Marine. They were the perfect gift for boating and relaxing on the sand bars/islands near our house. They are compact, allowing them to fit on the boat and made of light weight breathable material that has lasted. The only problem is that the non-skid white feet may come off when sitting in the sand and letting the legs sink down. We found that a few of the feet have come off rendering the chair unusable for the boat as the hard metal legs were now uncovered. I searched the internet for the chairs (no longer in production) or replacement feet that would work. I found a chair with the same feet, but no replacement feet available. I contacted West Marine and asked for the OEM information so I could look into ordering replacements. The wonderful West Marine representative contacted Westfield Outdoors for me and conveyed my need. Tonya responded asking for me to note how many I needed and to provide my mailing address and they would send them out right away. Well they arrived in the mail yesterday, free of charge, with a nice note. The chairs are now in perfect condition and the replacement feet (I used hot glue this time) will allow our continued use for years to come. They have the BEST, most amazing, incredible, quick customer service of any store I have ever dealt with. It was a pleasure to deal with Tonya. I went from being super depressed that we could no longer use our new wagon to grinning from ear-to-ear when I found out they 1) not only had the part that I needed, but 2) were going to send it to me for free!! Background information: On our second trip using our new Timber Ridge wagon we left the hard liner/bottom-of-wagon-bed in the parking lot. Totally our fault. I emailed the customer service email on a Friday, thinking that it would take them a few days to get back to us, but by the end of the day they had located the part and offered to send me it. By Sunday morning the part was in my hand and soon after in the wagon. We took a celebratory trip around the neighborhood and are looking forward to many more beach and camping trips with our new wagon! I am so impressed by Westfield's customer service! We will be a returning customer in the future. (Not to mention, the wagon is also pretty awesome and can haul four kids worth of beach supplies across the sand or three of my kids around the campground. If I could give a 10 star rating, I would. We have several of the Timber Ridge products. We are completely happy their performance. We purchased the Timber Ridge folding table in May of 2023. The table was an anniversary gift. The table is sharp looking and very sturdy. We use it for meal prep and grilling. (Small Weber tabletop grill). Our last camping trip, we took the table out of convenient carrying case and noticed 3 of the plastic, table slat endcaps were missing. Nothing that would affect the performance of the table. I contacted Westfield Outdoors to see if the endcaps could be replaced or purchased. I spoke with Chris. He was very helpful. I believe the caps fell out not necessarily the fault of Westfield. I offered to purchase the parts. Chris did some research to insure he was looking for correct part. He said he would be happy to send 3 replacements. Karen had them in the mail immediately, because I received the parts in about 1.5 weeks. Love their products and now even more since I have witnessed they stand behind their product. We purchased a Portal Collapsible Folding Utility Wagon through Amazon to transport beach chairs, towels, beach toys, a cooler, snacks, etc. to our local beach. Our beach consists of first navigating about 100 yards of smooth rocks, then a couple of hundred yards of soft sand to get to the place we like best. Often we have our extended family consisting of eight adults and seven grandkids between the ages of 2-1/2 and 14. So let's just say it's a bit of an expedition. We did significant research to make a decision on the best wagon for our application, considering factors such as: wheel width, diameter, cargo capacity, size, weight, etc. The Portal from Westfield Outdoors was the winner and we have used it three times so far this summer with excellent results. The design is so good. Unfolds and folds easily. Carries a lot of cargo. Easy to pull especially with the telescoping handle. We had one small issue that required us to contact customer service and they completely satisfied our need very quickly. Michelle was super-helpful. We highly recommend this product. read more

My wife and I recently purchased an LL Bean Acadia 6 tent and took it on it's trial camping trip south of Laramie wyoming. 2 Hours after setting up in an open saddle between 2 wooded hills we were hit by a monstrous line storm with downbursts of at least 50 MPH and 40 minutes of sustained wind/gusts of 20-30 MPH. While the tent did not get blown down, 2 upright poles were bent 45 degrees. We contacted LL Bean for replacement upright poles and were directed to Westfield. We emailed Westfield and within 24 hours had a reply from Tonya that they had the poles AND she would ship 2 of them to us free of charge and no charge for the poles! We were speechless. In 40+ years of adult camping we have never had an outdoor company do something like this. Too often it's just the opposite. The poles arrived today, 2 days after Tonya's emails and are perfect replacements. Words cannot express our gratitude to Tonya and Westfield. Our next outdoor camping purchase will start with them. This wagon is super! I purchased it for my senior dog. She is a 110 pound lab. She has Laryngeal Paralysis and significant arthritis in her back legs. This significantly impacted the quality of her life. She loves the beach, walks around the neighborhood, and hiking in the woods. Because of her health issues she is only able to walk for less than 10 minutes; after that it becomes life threatening for her. Because of her weight, other wagons we tried were difficult to get her in. The back of this wagon opens and she easily climbs in. She loves it. This wagon is sturdy and rolls beautifully over the terrain in the woods. Some difficulty on deep sand when she is in the wagon. It easily folds and we place it in our small car trunk. There was a slight problem with the wheel but customer service honored the warranty and promptly sent a new wheel which was easily changed. Five stars to company for assisting me and five stars for the wagon. P.S. the bottom of the wagon supported my dog but for better comfort we added the foam. read more

I previously purchased a collapsible wagon for hauling around chairs and equipment at our son's sporting events, and was recently disappointed to find it had a cracked wheel. Contact information for Westfield Outdoors was listed on the seller's website (Walmart) for follow up regarding warranty matters. I had little to no expectations of receiving a timely response or satisfactory outcome when I sent off an email explaining the situation, which may have been why I was so shocked to hear back from Tonya within a half hour! A simple request to send back a picture of the wheel (so the type could be verified) was all that was needed from our end of things. I believe my first email was sent on a Tuesday morning, and I received the replacement wheel (in Phoenix, AZ) by that Friday. All was done at zero cost to our family. I purchased a timber ridge reclining chair just shy of a year ago from amazon. Really loved the chair, but one of the wood armrests lost it's finish and started to split, creating a splinter risk. The chair was great, but the armrest was a problem. Since it was long past amazon's return window, I contacted Karen at Westfield to see if any warranty was still applicable. She immediately responded, asked for a few details and some pics. She then contacted the manufacturer, who took a look and immediately sent a brand new chair to me, which I received just a couple of days later! I have a folding wagon that I bought at Sam's that I use ALL THE TIME!!!!! I love it, but noticed I had lost a screw which resulted one of the underneath bars coming loose. I fortunately kept the paperwork that came with the wagon and was able to call and get their e-mail address. I asked for a replacement screw and Michelle responded almost instantaneously. She sent me two screws and a tracking number quickly after my sending her a picture of the area to determine the correct screw to send. TALK ABOUT AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I had purchased a screen house tent from a local grocery chain but wasn't sure when. Over the past weekend, two of the main poles got bent during a wind/rain storm making the tent unusable. I contacted the company via e-mail on Monday to see if they had any replacement poles available for purchase and they responded on Wednesday that they not only had the parts, but would be shipping them to me under warranty. Wow! Imagine my surprise when I stepped out my front door today, Thursday morning, and there was a box laying there with the two poles. Not only did they cover them under warranty, but shipped them so fast! WOW again! What great customer service and fast too! I purchased some outdoor lounge chairs over a year ago. They are the Timber Ridge brand. They are the best style of chair we have purchased. Iight, easy to fold up. compact enough to put in the back of a Prius car. Anyway, one of our cats decided to use one of the armrests as a scratching post. It was torn up the cushion pretty bad. So after some research, I found that Westfield Outdoors was a distributor or at least did customer service on these chairs. I sent them an email, and because I didn't know the model of the chair, I included a picture of the chair. I was expecting to be told how much it would cost to replace the damaged arm cushion. Instead, I got a nice reply saying that they were sending me two new cushions. What a nice surprise. This is why I gave the highest rating I could. Thank you so much Westfield Outdoors. Have a 20+year old military cot bought from Bass Pro Shops. Was looking for a replacement plastic button for the frame to latch on to. Bass could not help. Looked at the labeling on the carry bag for the cot. Found the manufacturer appeared to be Westfield Outdoors. Did a web search and found them. Sent in a contact form explaining what I needed. Chris from Westfield sent me email and asked for more details. I sent him a picture of the broken part and the labeling on the carry bag. Next day he said he found the part I needed and he would send me one. I offered to pay for the part and shipping, but he said no, they would cover it under warranty. Today I got two of the broken plastic part in the mail. I am so pleased with the fast support and warranty coverage for this 20 year old cot. I'm a Westfield Outdoors customer for life. I have a 10x20 collapsible canopy. One of the brackets broke from use. I found their text address online wanting to order a replacement part. I texted them the model of the tent and what part broke. Let's just say I was skeptical I'd get a response. Within minutes they texted me back a diagram of the frame and asked specifically which part. I answered the text along with a picture. They asked for a mailing address to send the part. They said it would be in the mail within a couple days. I asked how much and they said "no charge". After I picked my jaw off the floor, I thanked them profusely. Talk about standing behind your product. The part arrived a within days including fasteners AND an Allen wrench. A few minutes later the canopy was back up on my deck! I was recently using one of their gazebo tents, one that was bought more than 7 years ago, when the wind picked it up and made it fly about 20 feet before crashing back down to earth. This was totally my fault as I hadn't yet secured it to the ground. Two of the rods that hold the roof got bent. Unable to properly fix them myself, I called Westfield Outdoors. They had to search for the rods, since this particular tent hadn't been made in more than 6 years, but they found them and they mailed them to me right away, FOR FREE. If that's not supporting your customers, more than 7 years after your purchase for something that was my fault, then I don't know what is. She requested pictures of the pin/bolt, chair itself and location of the pin/bolt so she could identify what I actually needed. After supplying the pictures she was ablet identify exactly what chair I had and the part needed to repair it. I received the replacement part within days of initial contract of the company. Karen was a person of her word and immediately got the part sent to me. Her attention to getting it to me so quick is a refreshing change from most, not all, contacts with customer service representatives. Great products and fantastic customer support! I bought a packlite chair at LL Bean a year and a half ago and used it on the beach last summer. I didn't notice until we were back at the car that one of the plastic feet fell off in the sand. LL Bean told me I had to contact Westfield Outdoors and I expected it to be a hassle so I procrastinated contacting them. Once I made the call, they were super friendly on the phone, they sent me out 4 replacement feet (in case I lose another one) and very promptly, no questions asked. I love the chair, it's super comfy and lightweight for carrying, but I was afraid to use it without the foot and damage the metal leg, so I am so excited to be able to start using it again. So I bought some Timber Ridge chairs from Costco several years ago and they are the best. We have taken them to our kid's Soccer games, outdoor events, parties, camping, you name it. They are comfortable, compact, and absolute beasts. I had a part on the rear legs break, and looked to see if I could buy another chair but they aren't made anymore. I contacted the folks at Westfield Outdoors just to see if they would have the broken part, expecting to hear that the chairs are pretty old and the part isn't made anymore. Not the case. They found the parts that I needed and shipped them out to me ASAP.
