Top Class 30 yrs ago and still providing the same service and quality! Professional in every way! Mark & his team installed our first roof 30 yrs ago. We had no roof problems. Mark makes himself available to address any questions before, during and after roof installations. So we knew he would be our selection for the new roof. Mark ensured the proper timing for our new roof and proposed the best cost options for our home. His crew took a lot of pride in their work and very respectful in all aspects to the project. The crew was always happy which was reflected in their work ! Thank you! read more

Mark and Ronnie had great communication and were responsive and professional throughout the whole job. They made sure they cleaned up each day and even went above and beyond to do some extra patching to make sure our family felt safe and happy with their work. For one of the most important purchases of our young family I'm so happy we went with the Westfall team. read more

I work work in the pool safety business and in contact with about 10 -15 homeowners per week. On a regular basis I am asked to recommend other home services. Whenever I'm asked for a roofing company I only recommend Mark Westfall Roofing. On every referral they have done from my recommendation has been professional and resulted in a happy customer. Thanks Mark for giving me a great go-to company/service to recommend to my clients. Dave Sims Katchakid Pool Safety 310-857-4889 read more

Mark Westfall Roofing just completed replacing my roof. I was very pleased with how smoothly the whole process went. They were very professional from the start and gave me a price which I found quite reasonable. I signed the contract, was told when the project would be begin, and it started right on schedule. The guys who came out worked hard, were pleasant, kept supplies and materials meticulously stowed, and cleaned up well afterwards--even going over my property with a blower and making sure every scrap of debris was picked up. I'm happy with my new roof and it looks good. I would recommend this company without hesitation. I was given the certificate for my homeowners' insurance and now I'm all set. It felt old-fashioned in service, quality of work, and professionalism. read more

Westfall roofing refused to honor a quote to reroof our community in Torrance, blaming health issues on his team, however he is still very much active on Yelp and Google. We are now stuck trying to find a new roofer, one that will actually stick to their word and committment. Beware of the low quote from this contractor as they are likely to back out on their commitment!!! Disappointing and frustrating. read more

Great work! Great attention to detail! Roof doctors extraordinaire!!! My 1923 rental had 4 layers of roof!!! Westfall Roofing got all permits, roof tear-off, materials, experienced installers who replaced many feet of damaged wood expertly as they installed one proper roof! Cleanup was daily with minimal disruption for my tenants! Highly recommend! https://youtu.be/8tXu_4wNMTc read more

Mark and his crew did the tile roof on our home 20 years ago. With all this rain we've had this 2023 season our fireplace had a small leak. I contacted them and said it wasn't urgent (so much flooding now) and set an appointment. They came out and checked the roof and explained what needed to be done. Excellent service then and NOW! Thank you Mark and crew. Highly recommend their work. Honest, reliable and helpful. Niki Akbik read more

I called Westfall roofing because I'd had some leaks and needed minor repairs. Mark Westfall came out, showed me the problem areas and told me that his crew could certainly do the job. He also showed me how to fix it myself if I wanted. I thought it was a great visit: he showed up on time, did what he said he would do, seemed very knowledgeable, was polite, and gave me options that I could understand without pushing for a sale. At the end of the visit he didn't want to be paid for the house call. Seems like a good guy - easy to work with. I'll be calling him whenever I need any roofing work. read more

I contacted Mark in June 2023 for roof maintenance (clearing off debris), drain clean out, and sealing around two skylights. The work was done as promised and for a reasonable rate. In February 2024, I had three small leaks (one from skylight) and two leaking through light fixtures. I notified Mark on February 20th and was placed on his list for repair. I didn't hear back from Mark and called on April 26, 2024. He said somehow I wasn't on his lilst but he was adding me back on. He also said it should be a couple months. I didn't hear back from Mark and called again on June 26th. He called me in early July and said that he would get to my roof by the end of the month. It is now September 9th and I'm fairly certain that Mark will not be getting back to me or taking care of my roof. This is very frustrating because his service started out so well. I just don't know why he hasn't gotten back to me :( read more

The building was in need of a new roof . Westfall Roofing was able to complete the project as scheduled.

Westfall Roofing came out to inspect our home in Manhattan Beach when we thought we needed to replace the roof. Mark did an inspection and much to our surprise advised that we needed only a few shingles replaced but that the roof was good for another five years ! Wow, such honesty and integrity. We will definitely hire Westfall Roofing when the time comes. We give them five stars for their straight talk and professionalism. Paul P. read more

I had a great experience with Mark Westfall roofing. From beginning to end Mark provided professional, reliable and responsive service. Mark answered my email within 24 hours and came to my home for a roof inspection within 48 hours. He quickly sent me a detailed estimate with a very reasonable price and came to my home to complete the repair within four weeks. Ronnie, his brother and foreman, arrived on time, introduced himself and explained everything they'd be doing and how long it would take. Four hours later the repair was completed and my yard left clean. Mark also stopped by to make sure I was happy with the work and to say thank you for hiring them. I wish all tradesmen were so professional and such a pleasure to work with. A+ service !!! read more

Westfall Roofing is professional in its workmanship and very reasonably priced. Most of all, they are local guys that have been around a long time, and local businesses drives the community. There will be others that are cheaper, but we trusted our instincts; and Mark and his crew (Marc and Ronnie) saved us money in the long-run by not insisting we replace our entire roof - and some contractors will tell you that. Do your homework and you will not regret Westfall Roofing. read more

Mark Westfall Roofing is very honest and does great work. I had them come out for look at the roof at my mothers house and Westfall Roofing was very professional. In fact, they came and told me that my mother did not need a new roof and all was just fine... for me to call them again if the roof was to leak. Imagine my surprise when I was told that no work needed to be done. How many contractors would have told you that?? None! I say, call Mark Westfall Roofing for all of your roofing needs, you will not be disappointed!! read more

I had a leaky roof one winter 9 years ago and was new to the area, so I called some contractors and asked who they would recommend. Mark Westfall Roofing was the Roofing company that came to us very highly recommended. I called him (Mark) at that time and explained the seriousness of the leak and they were able to fit me into their schedule and fix my leaky roof right away. I was so thankful they could and would do that for me! This time when we called them we wanted to replace our entire roof since some other leaks had sprung up and our roof was 60 years old! I interviewed 3 contractors and decided to go with Mark Westfall again since we were so happy with our previous experience. He was timely in getting the bid back to us, and his bid was actually a little lower than the other bids we received. I called him with some questions and he sent Ronnie his foreman out to answer them and explain the process to us. He also asked me to tell him and show him exactly what I wanted the roof to look like. I'm happy to report they were able to accomplish that look.. Ronnie and his crew showed up on time everyday, (7-4) and finished in 2 weeks. They cleaned and swept up everyday so thoroughly you wouldn't even know we had work going on at our house! The crew was also very respectful and accommodating. I am VERY happy with Ronnie and his crew and my roof! read more

They did my mom's roof in south Torrance. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent, the workers were clean.

Good honest people. Hard to find in this business. Reasonable prices. Professional and hard working. Excellent work. Would not hesitate to use them again. They did the roofs of my neighbors too! read more

Can you say honesty and integrity, these guys are the kind of roofers you refer to family and friends. This will always be our go to roofer for all of our needs. Mark and his crew are like family to us. You can't go wrong with their work. Our roof is beautiful thanks to his crew, and they are very fair, with their pricing. Mark pulled all the permits needed, they cleaned up with not a mess in sight. They even replaced some wood that needed to be replaced, without changing us an arm and leg. Thank you Mark. read more

Mark and his crew were great for a re-roof on a garage for an investment property we bought in San Pedro. They did great work, on-time and on budget. I appreciated the communication and follow-up Mark provided. We have already gotten a bid from him on our next investment project. Looks like we found a roofer for years to come! read more

Mark, his brother Ronnie, and their crew are wonderful to work with! We've used Westfall Roofing 4 times over the span of 18 years and at 2 houses in Manhattan Beach--they've done excellent work each time. Their prices are very reasonable. They do a great job communicating and show up when they say they will. We recently tented our house for termites and the fumigation company damaged a good portion of our tiled roof (they don't guarantee against damage to tiled roofs). Thankfully, Westfall saved the day and replaced all our broken tiles. They were efficient, professional, timely and friendly! The guys were very respectful walking through my house--they took off their shoes to carry heavy materials up top--to access our roof. They left the roof cleaner than they found it and the roof looks great! Ronnie communicated with me the whole time, explaining what they would do so that our expectations aligned. I highly recommend Westfall Roofing. I really appreciate their professionalism, friendliness and the excellent work they do!! read more

To keep it short and to the point, Mark Westfall Roofing is unprofessional and misleading. Dont waste your time getting an estimate. According to Mark they are just to busy to deal with simple residential roof repair. MWR came to my residence three times to fix a leaking skylight. I even purchased a new skylight on their recommendation. I spent 850 on Roof repair which never stopped the leak. When I reached out to them to fix the issue I was quoted 1200 in addition to the 850 I had already paid. And of course I got a lecture of how busy they are and wouldn't be able to get to it for a few weeks. Unfortunately I will take my business else where and not recommend them to friends and family. The two star rating is for Ronnie and his crew. They actually seem pretty cool and genuine. Bottom line, I had a leak and after two visits and several weeks of rain, it was never fixed. Finally another roofer came and fixed the leak in 20min with a new piece of metal flashing. Dont waste your time with Westfall. read more

A couple of days ago, I called Mark Westfall roofing based on reviews I read on Yelp and Angie's List. We were not having a crisis but we've been concerned about the condition of our roof since it has been a little over 20 yrs since it was replaced. Mark made a visit to our home to assess the roof and left me a voice message. I was very happy to hear that our roof is still in great condition. He gave us some advice on how we can maintain and repair some minor things. Mark was friendly, honest, and helpful to me and I'm grateful that he was looking out for our best interest. I would not hesitate to recommend Westfall Mark Roofing to any of my neighbors and friends who need roofing work in the future. Thank you Mark for your help and professionalism!!! read more

I've been struggling with a nagging "wet spot" near a skylight for a few years that has been getting worse and worse. Actually I've had two other companies come "repair" the problem, but the leak always came back worse than before. So, quite a few months ago, when it looked like we would have a dry spell for a while, at the suggestion of a friend, I called Westfall Roofing. They came out when they said they would for the inspection. They responded with a written estimate in a couple of days. So, I called to schedule the repair and some other "maintenance" work we'd talked about. They arrived on time, finished on time, invited me to inspect the work and were very polite, clean and professional. Now that is has rained quite a few times since they came, I'm happy to say, the leak is SOLVED. Mark and his team are GREAT! Thanks guys! read more

These guys are great, repaired our tiled roof, arrived on time, left everything clean. They are very friendly as well, and personable.

Mark is the nicest guy around! Our business just moved into a new office building in Torrance and we noticed we have a pipe without a cover coming through the ceiling. Mark came over, advised us what type of inexpensive part we needed to by at a hardware store to remedy our problem, and he didn't even charge for his time. He just won us as his future customers. This type of kindness doesnt happen very often anymore. Thanks Mark! read more

Mark and his entire crew are top notch. From the time, he comes to inspect and evaluate the job, he is detailed oriented, professional and very honest. He will tell exactly what he thinks is right and help you understand when you make a decision that is not in your best interest. His crew comes in and works hard each day to complete the job quickly. We are extremely happy that we waited to have him and his crew do our roof. The roof is great! read more

This review will take place in phases. My roofing issue is quirky: I have an old mid-century style house that had concrete M-tiles put on it to replace the original shake roof. The problem is that the previous owners also put on "rake tiles" along the ridgelines (note: rake tiles are the L-shaped tiles along the edges). Long story short, you DON"T put rake tiles on mid-century style homes. IMHO it looks dumb. I want them removed without putting a new roof on...but naturally not creating new areas along the edge for water leaks. 1) As of this first review...I give it 5-stars because I requested a quote on Yelp and within an hour or so got a quick response back with contact info. I called them up and immediately got to talk with Mark about my issue and plans to set up a time next week for them to come out and take a look (and hopefully provide a quote). I have called several roofing companies already that didn't want to bother with my job...and I know roofers are busy considering all the rains, including Mark's company...but these guys still took the time to listen and want to work with me despite my smallish job. read more

We had our roof replace by Westfall roofing 6-8 years ago. Our roof is very steep. They did a good job but the tarps they put up to protect the stucco were filthy and we had to have the stucco re-painted. They paid half that cost. Then after the roof was approximately 3 years old 2 shingles in completely separate areas fell off the roof. These are the cement type shingles and the roof was over $25,000. I called The owner, Mark, as the roof was guaranteed for 50 years. I asked him to replace the two shingles (we had extras ) as he had told us not to let anyone walk on the roof due to the material of the shingles. It took him a week or two to come out and see where the shingles had come out. He then told me he would have a crew come out and replace them. I called every few months for a year and a half-always getting the excuse that when he had a crew in our neighborhood he would do it. It is now 3 years later and we sold our house several months ago. Another roofer came and did the repair. I felt from the beginning a Mark Westfall had no intention of fixing my roof and each time he became a little more rude. Not impressed-no customer service. read more

Westfall Roofing repaired my roof a year ago. We just had a good rain this past week, and I did not have a problem with any leaks (although I was confident that would be the case). They are reliable, and stand behind their work. I highly recommend the Westfall team if you need a new roof! read more
