Lisa helped me out so much on Tuesday with my order for a thank you bouquet for my aunt in The Woodlands, TX after a long family formal wedding for my cousin.We wanted to thank her for all she did for us and Lisa made it happen! She heard what our interests were on product, timing, arrangements, set clear expectations on delivery, process, costs and follow up. From the time I left the shop she called me within an hour with all the details including offering to text a pic of what she found in the Spring/Woodlands area for delivery on Wednesday. You cannot beat this service. My aunt got her delivery and shot us a beautiful text of her flowers with all the graciousness of her surprise and thank you back for the surprise. I went in to get a Thanksgiving centerpiece they made me one which was quite spectacular. The price was right and my family loved it. Went in and saw something like the one I ultimately purchased and just ask them to make 1 like that but with more volume. Love the final result. And most importantly, my mother, now 89, said its a very beautiful centerpiece. Since I don't live in the area, but grew up in Westerville, I'll occasionally send flowers to family, and most particularly, my mother! Not only that, they didn't have every flower for the arrangement I picked out, so she walked through all of my options to make sure I was ok with them before we committed. I will start by saying- that I have NEVER in my life been so embarrassed or ashamed of a floral arrangement sent to a grieving colleague. I ordered a 'beautiful' arrangement of sunflowers to be sent to the receiving/viewing of a colleagues father. They were supposed to be warm, inviting and hopefully add some happiness to an otherwise sad event. When I arrived last night at the viewing, I was curious to see how beautiful the flowers were. What I saw, was so shameful, I wanted to remove the card so that our colleague didn't know they had been sent from us. After calling the florist this morning and making her aware of how disappointed I was in the floral arrangement that they provided, not only was she RUDE to me on the phone (much like when I was ordering the flowers) but she changed her story up at first saying that she had personally made the arrangement, and then she blamed the new girl for the terribly ugly and screwed up arrangement. She said she would make note of it and adjust the bill accordingly (which I NEVER even received a copy of), to which I told her to send the nicest, biggest, and most expensive arrangement over to my colleagues house at no charge to us. We will see if this even happens. I also called FTD (the bouquet that I ordered was one of theirs) and asked FTD to remove this vendor from their company. This vendor is giving FTD a bad name, and having ordered through them directly before, I don't want to hinder their business at all. The woman at FTD assured me that they would be looking into this matter. Save your money and your embarrassment and use a different florist. I wish I would have checked their reviews before calling them. I would never be in the position I am now, fuming and furious, if I had thought ahead. (Shame on me!) read more

I would not recommend ordering flowers from Westerville Florist's website. I spent around $45 total on a flower arrangement and what I received looks drastically different than the photo on their website. When I called to say that the arrangement didn't look like the one I purchased, I was told that this particular arrangement's photo was "deceptive." That seems to speak for itself. When we went to the viewing the arrangement was CHEAP & SMALL, nothing like the photo or the price I paid for. I called to complain to the manger, she did not apologize and they gave a us a $10 refund for an arrangement that was $70. Rude, late, and unprofessional. -1 for sending me an email notification (through Teleflora) on Monday telling me that my flowers were "hand-delivered." Lies. -1 for being rude with my girlfriend and her family when they called after the first delivery attempt failed (Monday) -1 for not attempting to deliver the next day (Tuesday) -1 for being rude to me when I called on Tuesday (I spoke with Dory). Another -1 for making up a story (lie) explaining why they didn't attempt to deliver. Yet another -1 for making me ask 4 times in a row to get a straight answer on when the flowers would be delivered. -1 for using 'the price of gas' as a reason why you didn't deliver. this is why i paid a 'delivery fee'. -1 for delivering the flowers 2 days late (on Wednesday) -1 for delivering the wrong color vase Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. Both of my experiences with this florist have been outstanding!! Just prior to Christmas, I received a beautiful arrangement from a friend through Westerville Florist. It was GORGEOUS!! (I'll attach a picture - but the picture doesn't do it justice!) There were 9 huge roses, a ton of greens and tons of carnations -- many of which weren't opened up yet when the pic was taken. The arrangement lasted FOREVER since it was so nice and fresh when it arrived. The BEST part of that experience with them was the fact that they called afterwards to make sure I received the arrangement (I wasn't home when it was delivered) and that I was pleased with it!!! WOW! When's the last time a business cared THAT much??!! Soon after that remarkable experience with them, I found myself on the other "end" -- needing to send flowers -- so I immediately thought of Westerville Florist!! I placed an order online, via their website, late at night this past Thursday. Very first thing Friday morning, my phone rang -- there had been an issue with my CC number coming across as "encrypted" with the order. They were very kind about it and took the needed info over the phone. However, by mid-morning I learned my friend was suddenly being discharged from the hospital (where the flowers were to be delivered)! SO -- I called the florist and explained the situation. Again, they were very kind and understanding -- immediately offering to deliver them to her home instead. BUT, now we had another issue -- my friend lives way south of Columbus -- part way to Cincinnati -- outside of Westerville Florist's delivery area. The florist initially offered to cancel the order all together, but since I still wanted my friend to receive flowers, they offered to "wire them" instead, contacting a florist nearer to where she lived. They were extremely gracious throughout the ENTIRE transaction!! I apologized for all the trouble -- they never complained ONCE that they were still "stuck" with the flowers they had prepared for delivery to Riverside!! Initially I spoke with someone named Mike on the phone -- then a different gentleman when I called to change the delivery -- but unsure of what his name was. Both were excellent!! They were gracious, kind, patient and nothing but cordial on the phone -- even with all the problems I caused them. I would HIGHLY recommend this florist!!!! read more

I ordered online one of the FTD flower arrangements to be delivered to my sister-in-law for her birthday. Since I live out of state, couldn't do it myself and wanted it to be really nice, I upgraded to the 'deluxe' version--what she got was pitiful--it wasn't even the 'standard' version of the arrangement. When I called to complain, the lady was very rude and even said, "Let me tell you something, honey"...and then proceeded to tell me that "anytime you order online, you are not going to get what you see". Told her that was false advertising and the description described all of the different kinds of flowers that should be in the arrangement. I told her I understood that with COVID, maybe some of those flowers might not be available, but would think they would sub some others in to make up for it. She then asked me how much I spent on the arrangement--I told her the 'deluxe' price of $55.00. She said the arranger put in $55.00 worth of flowers--I told her no way would 4 roses, a carnation, a daisy and 2 alstroemerias cost $55.00; besides, you advertised a specific arrangement for that price, period. She then said they would redo the arrangement, but wanted the old one back. Ridiculous! She was so rude, argumentative, and condescending--not appropriate for customer service!! I will never use this florist again and I am going to notify the FTD services and suggest they not use this florist. Stay away from this place. My boyfriend ordered me flowers to be delivered on a specified day and I was not home to pick up the flowers. So I called them back and was told by the alleged owner that I was not home and my neighbors were not either......so they would deliver tomorrow. (Who tries to leave packages with the neighbors?") When I asked why was it not left with the leasing office. She got really angry and started yelling and said it was protocol to try and leave it with a neighbor instead. All my deliveries were left with the leasing office when i was not home to receive a package, especially when you have to drive past it to get to my apartment. It is just common sense!!!! Yelp needs to change their reviews so that you can't even do one star. Honestly, I could not believe what happened with this florist. I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law to be delivered on my ex-husband's birthday, because he died recently, and my son wanted them sent to his grandmother instead of the cemetery. I used a local florist to place the order. Westerville called me, the person who placed the order, and asked for my mother-in-law. When I said I wasn't her, I asked if this was in regards to the floral arrangement order I placed. She became EXTREMELY rude, and said that the driver couldn't find my mother-in-law's condo. I told her I had to put her on hold because I had to get her phone number. The gist of it: That's how rude she was to me, when she thought I was the person who was going to be receiving it? Was she kidding? No, it turns out that's just how rude that person is. After I gave her the phone number, I called my florist here, who stated that she had been rude to them as well. They called her back and gave her step-by-step directions to my mother-in-law's condo. Seriously, it's Ohio; they don't have GPS for a store that delivers to different places on a daily basis? (If they probably don't, it's due to poor customer service.) Westerville had already called my mother-in-law, and she hadn't answered the phone. I then had to call my mother-in-law and apologize for any potentially rude message left by the florist because I was afraid of what this moron would say to her when leaving her a message. My mother-in-law is still grieving, and no one, for no reason, should be treated like this. I informed my florist here that should I need to use a florist there in the future, they are not to use them. They agreed. This shop was an embarrassment to customer service everywhere. My son ordered me flowers for Mother's Day from Pro Flowers, he picked out a beautiful design that he thought I would like, it came on time from Westerville Florist. This arrangement cost him $70, he had a $10 off coupon also, so basically this arrangement was to be worth $80. When it arrived, it was nothing like the picture, I called once in the morning and once in the afternoon, the manager would not budge on correcting this arrangement even when I said I would exchange it. I wasn't trying to get 2 arrangements. This did not have the carnations nor the button mums or even the bow as the picture showed. I love to support locally owned businesses. So I visited Westerville Florist and will never visit them again. I would rather use 1-800-flowers. I don't mind paying a little more for great customer service, but when the owner is rude and you know you can get it cheaper online...my advice..get it cheaper online. I walked in and waited several minutes before someone even came out to talk to me and when someone finally did come out to greet me, which I found out was the owner, she made me feel like I was wasting her time because she was busy as she stated. Friend ordered flowers for a thank you and wanted them delivered on a Saturday, they arrived at my home and did not leave the flowers. called later to ask when I would be home and said by 2:00 pm, but that was too late for them to deliver. Would have to deliver on Monday, I called Monday and ask for a window time and requested fresh flowers ( not from Sat), he said in a few hours they would arrive. As I was soon leaving the house they arrived and delivered. The flowers were definitely from that Sat. The greenery was broken and roses crushed and browning, alstroemerias dead and hanging on the side of the vase. I called and spoke to a man in the store, he disagreed with me and said they would re-deliver, rudely. I sent him photos and he indicated that "they were not dead but not opened yet due to freshness"! Re delivery today and the delivery person had the nerve to ask for the old flowers back!! I have only had one experience and I will not go back. I ordered a floral arrangement which cost approximately $50. I saw the arrangement and it had very few flowers (daisies and roses). Additionally, the arrangement wasn't "arranged". All the daisies were on top and the roses were at the bottom. I called and spoke to the owner and all he said was "ok". I was looking for a local florist that delivered same day, and came across their website. I found an arrangement that I liked and called to place my order. I was in a good mood and not in a hurry. The lady that answered the phone sounded annoyed that I called. The entire "conversation" (if you can call it that) she was simply rude as if she couldn't believe I was calling her flower shop to order flowers! I will say that the bouquet did get delivered same day within a few hours actually, but the flowers were also a very sad version of the beautiful bouquet I had ordered and paid for. The colors were the same, but with about half the number of flowers as well as cheaper flowers like daisies substituted for more expensive ones. Even if the bouquet had been exactly as pictured I would not give this place repeat business because of the lack of common courtesy. read more

Terrible. My husband got a Valentines Day flower arrangement delivered to my work. It was supposed to have 3 balloons and it only had one balloon which was taped to the card and not even blown up. The flowers were already starting to wilt. It looked awful. My husband called about it and they apologized for not "blowing up the balloon" Seriously??? they said they could not get a refund due to it was ordered from another site. I will start out by saying I have never been embarrassed before by any floral arrangement in my whole life....until now!!!! So bad was the arrangement that I emailed the owner, who wants to show me invoices PROVING that my flowers were fresh. They were not fresh; the arrangement was OLD, and he cannot prove that away, nor my embarrassment when my husband and I saw it!! 200 hundred bucks wasted. He did not offer a cent back, and now I would refuse I think, for I will take Mike to court, this I pledge in writing.
