However, that already large project grew to include a new roof for the entire house, all new siding, replacement windows in the sunroom, vinyl plank flooring, all new interior doors and lastly having all the hardwood flooring refinished. Reusing the vintage glass doorknobs was very important to us and Greg took the time to rebuild each of the old mechanisms and re-install every doorknob. At one point, Greg and I debated putting downspouts on the new addition. A few months after the project was completed, we realized that downspouts were necessary. It wasn't a problem! Greg got us on the schedule and downspouts were installed within a couple of weeks. During this project Greg and his team of craftsmen were professional, timely, communicative, and collaborative. We've recommended them to friends and family and will be using them again for all future home projects.

When I asked for a firm price they selected a price near the top of the range. They weren't my lowest bid but they were available and I needed the cleaning done so I accepted. Then the day came and they demanded $100 more than they had bid, and refused to honor the original agreement. Why? They hadn't even bothered googling the address and claimed to not realize it was a bigger house despite the address being a recent sale with all the listing info still available on every search you could do. I also put that it was a 5 bedroom in the quote request. They also then claimed there was a lot of trash (again this is a move in cleaning, so there normally is). Would not use again. GIant waste of time.

However when he installed the doors for the pantry he drilled in the wrong spot for the knobs and the doors would not open. Admitted he screwed that up. I decided to have him install a new toilet and vanity in my powder room. He said no problem and gave me a price. I am attaching pictures of what he has done. It is so bad I had to call another company to fix the mess. Paid him in full BIG MISTAKE. He is awful to return calls, texts and I had to chase him down. He said he could repair it in 1/2 hour. However, it should not be repaired or fixed. It should of been done right the first time. At this point I did not trust his ability in home repairs so I didn't want him back for fear that he would make it worse. When he finally did answer I asked for a refund or at least a partial and he said the work he did was worth his price. You can be the judge. Now it is crickets. It cost me time and money that I saved to have this done. My vanity is ruined, he could not properly put the toilet in and I had to get a plumber(which I agreed to because obviously he didn't know how to repair the toilet issue. That was an additional $275, the pantry doors look ridiculous with a set of holes that were put in the wrong place that he tried to repair and now I have to get somebody who knows what they are doing. I thought I had someone but lesson learned. I wanted to post the pictures, but I can't see where to do that on yelp.
