We hired Sage Construction to do a complete remodel of our kitchen as well as a more limited remodel in other areas of the home (paint first floor, replace first floor trim, cut in patio door, knock down an interior wall, convert pantry to powder room). Everything turned out AMAZING!! Greg and his team were professional, courteous, ON-TIME, and did excellent work. We have worked with many home remodelers over the years and Sage Construction is by far the best. Initially we contacted Sage Construction to put an addition on top of an existing sunroom. However, that already large project grew to include a new roof for the entire house, all new siding, replacement windows in the sunroom, vinyl plank flooring, all new interior doors and lastly having all the hardwood flooring refinished. Reusing the vintage glass doorknobs was very important to us and Greg took the time to rebuild each of the old mechanisms and re-install every doorknob. At one point, Greg and I debated putting downspouts on the new addition. A few months after the project was completed, we realized that downspouts were necessary. It wasn't a problem! Greg got us on the schedule and downspouts were installed within a couple of weeks. During this project Greg and his team of craftsmen were professional, timely, communicative, and collaborative. We've recommended them to friends and family and will be using them again for all future home projects. read more

We hired Greg and his team to give our new-to-us house a much needed update. We replaced all of our interior doors, baseboards, window casings and our stair railing. We could not be more pleased both with the results and working with this team. It was clear from the first consultation that Greg takes great pride in his work and really wants to do his best for his clients. He took the time to "get to know" our house and point us in the right direction with our plan. He answered our questions and was very low pressure as we got several bids for the work. He edged out the competition because he was down to earth and patient with us. I'm sure this was just a "run of the mill" job for a construction company, but for us it was major investment for our home, and I appreciated that he recognized that as such. The project itself went as smoothly as any construction project could. Was every step perfect, no...but that's to be expected. It's construction, there are always surprises. However, what set Sage Construction apart was how they handled any surprises. Greg was available at any time , even weekends, for concerns and even came out after hours to help correct one minor issue. This is the kind of team you want when doing a major project. Surprises are expected, but how it is handled is what truly matters. As far as budget goes, Greg came in $500 above his original quote, which was due to one change order we (the homeowners) had not considered prior to the project. As far as the team that worked in our home, they were all great. They were friendly and respectful of our home. Mark, the carpenter was easily one of the most interesting people you'll ever meet and a master at his craft. The painting team needed a little bit more supervision, but they were very efficient and provided the needed finishing touches to make the work shine. They even helped us find a unique but awesome looking stain for our stair railing. Have already referred others to Sage and will continue to, going forward. Please steer clear of this contractor. I asked that electrical work be done on my home; I had exterior lights installed that, after installed, flickered. The owner, Greg, wouldn't come out to fix the problem. He gave me instruction on how to fix the issue myself but I couldn't. After he had my money for the cost of the work he did, he wouldn't return. I was forced to call another electrician to complete the job. Please steer clear of this contractor!!! read more

My dad hired Sage Construction to completely remodel his house, and Greg and his crew did an awesome job throughout the whole process. Despite Greg having a very busy schedule, he came out in a timely manner and did everything that he promised to. If something wasn't flawless the first time, Greg and his guys were back out there ensuring the issue was rectified. They were all polite, hard working, and extremely trustworthy.
