When we had a miscommunication on paint colors, Andrew and team never questioned the outcome, they immediately came back over and repainted the bathroom. To top it off, I also asked Andrew if he could help me to notch out a portion of my basement ceiling to so I could fit something downstairs. This had nothing to do with my bathroom remodel, however Andrew immediately came over with his crew and helped do it at no cost. If you're looking for a remodel, I highly recommend Anla.

Do not trust their word that they will make it back out. I reached out multiple times, was told "I'll have a guy come out Friday" on 3 separate occasions, and it now I'm a zero responses from them. I have been left with a half painted window and unclean job site. I will call that my mistake but it does show the integrity of this company. I wrongfully assumed that spending the amount of money we did came with integrity and customer appreciation. Maybe that's extra. ($70k+) We hired them to put a moderate sized addition off the back of our master bedroom on a ranch house. As soon as I made the final payment I was not able to get anyone out. -we were suppose to get black windows but they installed white. When it was brought up they told me they would paint them and have yet to complete that task. - they never returned to finish cleaning up the job site and fix all the dirt the moved away for the foundation.

They removed all the crumbling concrete steps, porch pad, rotted wood supports and frail metal railings. They were able to reenforced the existing brick base and ceiling supports, reducing my costs. They framed, and rebuilt with cedar beams/ railings and finished with a beautiful, durable composite wood flooring. The detail of the craftsmanship on the custom cedar railings and posts are amazing. Demo and rebuild were completed in the estimate that was given of 3 weeks. I showed John a picture of how I wanted it, and he and his team did the rest! Seamless from beginning to end. Bayer Builders dealt with all the permitting and inspections and helped me pick out materials (offering low- and high-end pricing). They consulted with me throughout the project, with very little effort on my part to get this massive project completed. I have to say that I am highly impressed with the skill, attention to detail, and excellent work ethics that the crew demonstrated. These trades seem to be a dying breed and John has secured the finest of them! I look forward to enjoying my porch for many years to come and hope to work with them again. They rebuilt a section of our garage along with the roof (subcontractor) and deck. John managed the whole process and solicited several bids from roofers (who many times didn't show) to make sure we got the best price and quality. He managed to do this in a tight timeline as the weather was getting cold and he carefully explained our options and pricing along the way. He went out of his way to save us money when possible and pushed for quality when it was the right thing to do. He was fair and knowledgeable, and saved us a lot of headache! Some of the other builders out there really didn't know what they were doing and accidentally caused damage just taking a look at our problem. Bayer Builders on the other hand were very professional and capable. If you need good honest builders who won't give you an upsell, choose these guys.

I beliv they are running a Ponzi scheme of a company, or at least that is what it appears to be with the amount of work they are getting done around here. We are on the third floor of a walk up condo, and we have a private rooftop deck. We started…read moregetting leaks in the ceiling in two places in our kitchen, and called about a half a dozen places in and around the city to come out and assess. The proposals were all over the place. Some companies said it couldn't be done without ripping off the rooftop deck and repairing everything. Some companies said it wasn't the roof at all, it was condensation inside the house? Jeff at Rollin Contracting was way more honest and practical in his assessment. He pointed out where he suspected the two leaks were coming from, but said that you never really know until you rip up the roof and move the air conditioner and take a look. He told us that roof repair was tricky, that the guys who said we might have to replace the whole roof could be right. But he wouldn't start with that, he would start with the less expensive approach. Granted, there was the risk that if it didn't work, we would have wasted that money when they re-did the whole roof, but we decided to gamble on a $2000 repair rather than jump into the $12,000 repair of the whole roof. Rollin Contracting was the only one who was honest and open and gave us options. He was also the one who was most confident in where he thought the leaks were coming from. It has now been one month since they repaired both potential sources of the leak, and neither of the leaks have come back. And in case you haven't been paying attention, we've gotten absolutely drenched this May. Meaning there is no doubt in my mind that they successfully fixed the leaks. The contractors that came to do the work were great, they didn't even enter the house. I offered to let them come inside to get to the rooftop, and they said they preferred to just go up and over to keep our house clean. While taking up the wooden boards on the rooftop deck to do the roof repair, they accidentally broke one of the boards. They went to Home Depot and replaced the board that day. Not a big deal, and super quick to fix it. Also, at the last minute (after we had signed the contract), I realized that I had forgotten to ask them about the fireplace, which also occasionally drips water during bad storms. I asked Jeff if he would have his guys look at the chimney to see if they could identify the source of the potential leak and to let me know what his recommendations were to have that fixed as well. He went ahead and had his guys caulk it while they were up there without even charging us. I know that's probably not a huge expense, but it was still a nice gesture to just throw that in. So across the board it was a great experience. Would definitely work with these guys again and recommend them with confidence.

We filed a compliant with the BBB for Rollin's failure to obtain necessary permits, workmanship…read morefailures and lack of professionalism. Please think twice before hiring this contractor - it will not be worth it if there are any uncertainties re: your project and they will say anything to get your job. We hired Jeff to perform some deck work for our three flat. Jeff quoted us $6K to replace certain posts and railings. One year later, additional work was clearly required because railings were loose and Jeff performed an additional $3K worth of work. At no time to Jeff represent himself as anything other than qualified to perform the work. Turns out he never even got a permit for the work. We were cited by the city for non-compliance shortly after his second round of work. He complied with fixing some of the issues identified. When he met with the inspector to review the work and confirm compliance, he essentially yelled, screamed, stormed off and refused to fix any of the additional work. We are now left with a deck that still needs work, $12K later. Jeff continues not to respond to emails/requests for him to finish his work. Jeff misrepresented his ability to do deck work according to city law and code. His unprofessionalism in resolving the issue that he created (he should have just said his people didnt do deck work maybe instead of doing a poor job and then getting upset when someone challenged him to do the work properly) was so disappointing. Do not work with this contractor.
