Lisa is worth all of the five stars I can give her. She knows her business, but more importantly she takes the time to get to know you so that she can help problem solve anything that comes up. For example, I wanted to get baked on paint cabinets and eventually settled on Columbia which is a Canadian manufacturer with a semi-custom approach. This worked for me, but my husband really wanted a paper towel dispenser built into the cabinetry which was not a part of Columbia's normal inventory of choices. Lisa helped us order a solution with piecemeal parts from Columbia that were assembled by our cabinet installer. It looks so good and fits seamlessly into our island. Better Late than Never. Every promise someone you'll do something and never get around to doing it? Even something important? That's me! In 2018, I promised Lisa at Western States Cabinet in Brea, I would write a review for her and the business. I was managing the building of a home for my elderly father. I wanted things to be perfect for him. Like many of you, I had searched the internet, gone to box stores, and several cabinet shops trying to find beaded inset cabinets. Yes, I'm very old fashioned. I was excited to find and settle on Western States Cabinets in Brea to order cabinets though. The service, attention to detail, and professional design assistance which the manager, Lisa gave us allowed my wife and I to be confident in our choices and decisions. We ended up ordering Omega cabinets at a substantial discount, which was great. Pics included. The cabinets were installed in September, but my contractor did not complete the home until January 2019. My dad had major medical issues and never got to live in his home. He did, however, get to see the kitchen cabinets after installation. One of my fondest memories was my dad looking at the kitchen and telling me what a beautiful home we built him. Our kitchen was looking "dated" and needed a fresh look. Our contractor works with Lisa Bright at Western States Cabinets so he made an appointment for my husband and I to meet with her and go over what we visualized how our new kitchen might look. Lisa looked at pictures of our old kitchen and asked us a lot of questions to get to know our style. She had her installer, Mike, come over and measure every inch of our kitchen to make sure we would get optimized use of our space. We went back several times and picked out the cabinets and molding we finally decided on. Five or six weeks later the cabinets came in and our remodel began and is now complete. I cannot say enough good things about Lisa! Lisa genuinely saved us from what could have been a huge disaster. Prior to being put in touch with Lisa, I was speaking with another company that to make a long story short, was creating issue after issue and had no clue as to what they were doing in terms of pricing. We just completed our kitchen/family room remodel. It was a complete gut job that required taking the walls to the studs. That meant that the success of the project heavily depended on the quality of the cabinets, the accuracy of the measurement and size of each cabinet, and fitting them all together so the design would not be compromised, even with uneven walls and floors normally found in an older house. Lisa Bright was our contact with Western States Cabinet Wholesalers in Brea. Her extensive knowledge of the product we chose was the deciding factor in the final design and installation of the cabinetry. She worked closely with my husband (cabinetmaker and kitchen designer) to ensure that drawers and doors opened with adequate clearance and there was enough reveal on the cabinets adjacent to uneven walls to fill the gaps. That was remarkable! The result is a perfect installation, a beautiful and functional kitchen, and no showstoppers between the final design and the final inspection.
