One zone consists of two small adorable playhouses meant for young crawlers and toddlers. Right next to that is a musical instrument section, balance walk, and a huge colorful maze with textured walls. Towards the back is a play area with a turf hill and 14-foot mega tower with plenty of opportunities to slide and climb. There are tube, flat bed, and curved slides. The tower can appear intimidating but my 3.5 and 5 year old girls fearlessly climbed the ladder to access the tower and came down the tube slides without issue. Surrounding the tower are several climbing structures. One consists of faux tree logs and another resembles the back of a bear. Another major feature is the zip line. My 5 year old was super excited and went on it several times.

My kiddo is sensory seeking constantly and this place is perfect for him to burn off some steam. Must have grip socks but parents don't need to wear them. There is also rock climbing, foam pits, dodge ball, and a huge jungle Jim playground with nooks to hide in so parents beware. They have some video games but some of them didn't work and they are pricey. Also no tickets for prizes. They did have an awesome cotton candy machine! Parking is right out front. Staff were friendly and helpful when games didn't work.

The museum itself is incredibly hands-on and interactive. My kids could have stayed all day. The water play area was a huge hit (bring a change of clothes or use the smocks they provide), and the construction zone with life-size building blocks kept them busy for ages. I loved that it's set up in a way where kids can explore independently but parents can still keep an eye on them easily. The staff was friendly and kept things clean, which I appreciated since little ones are touching everything. The whole museum is very family-friendly, with spaces for toddlers as well as older kids, so no one feels left out. Another bonus: since it's inside the larger Museum Center, you can easily combine your visit with the Natural History Museum or an IMAX show. Parking was simple, and there are food options inside, though we chose to pack snacks. Overall, it's the perfect place for kids to play, learn, and burn off energy--rainy day or not. Highly recommend for families in Cincinnati or anyone visiting the city!

We chose Bicentennial Park because of the proximity to their Airbnb. It turned out to be a great choice as the playground was really cute and in great shape, and the whole play area is fenced in. Some of the playground equipment was unusually tall for a playground, so keep that in mind and know that you might need to run around after your kids should you decide to visit.

The path is really long and I've hardly had a chance to really explore it with my son: soon! For those who aren't a fan of a long walk, the playground is definitely one of the nicer new ones in town.
