No need for that admonition from the cashier. A simple, "It is Prom time, we are backed up terribly and are unable to meet your deadline," would have been acceptable. I may return, but my wife took her pants back to the store and will wait 7-10 days and save $70.00 on alteration fees, and receive outstanding customer service.

They were SO very helpful in helping me get my dress fitted in time for a wedding. They are very sweet ladies. I had a multi-layer, difficult to hem, chiffon gown. Anna's was able to do it in a week for me! They hemmed it perfectly. I am so happy I found this place when I was in a pinch, and am looking forward to giving them more business in the future. Things were said that mischaracterized both parties. Monica's husband reach out to me and we were able to discuss this in a cordial and professional manner. Everything ended well, I just wish things were handled in this manner from the beginning. To whatever transpired, I do believe Monica is good at what she does and I do hope she satisfied more clients in the future.

This seems like such a simple thing, but for whatever reason, most places don't do that. You only need an appointment if you're altering a bridal gown - otherwise you can stop in during regular business hours. My dress was ready for pickup exactly a week after I dropped it off, which was precisely the expectation they set when I dropped it off. I believe Frances truly cares about her clients. I tried on the dress upon pickup, and the top had been tucked and wasn't laying quite right. Frances listened compassionately and immediately undid the tuck to fix it so that I would be comfortable on the day of the wedding. She even re-did it while I waited so I wouldn't have to come back. It was great!I was very happy with the alterations and am so glad to have found a go-to place for alterations.

They've also done other things with my work clothes and other things. The last thing they did was put buckles on the cinch strap of a work apron, came out perfect. They've always done a great job, no problems with their work, and they're very inexpensive for what they do. Only problem is they never got over Covid. They insist on making appointments, which is a HUGE pain if you run around doing errands like I do. Also I don't see how an appointment keeps someone with Covid from coming in (if you're afraid of that). Also they have a tendency to run behind so be ready for that. Other than those two issues, five stars.
