I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Keamy Eye & Laser Centre in Westborough for cataract…read moresurgery. From my first consultation, throughout two cataract surgeries and subsequent follow-up appointments, I found Dr Keamy and her entire staff to be informative and supportive. Prior to my first surgery, Dr. Keamy explained in "layman's terms" exactly what the surgery would entail. On the day of surgery I was extremely nervous, however, Dr Keamy put me at ease and the experience was far less stressful than I had anticipated. Not only is Dr. Keamy a skilled surgeon, she is also passionate about what she does. My vision is far better than I expected and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. With absolute certainty I would recommend Dr. Keamy for any type of eye procedure especially cataract surgery. If I ever again have cause for eye surgery, Keamy Eye & Laser Centre is the only practice I would consider. Thank you Dr. Keamy and your wonderful staff for providing me with such great care.

The staff, specifically one women, was rude and unprofessional. She had no concern that a patient…read morecould lose his vision in an emergency situation. I am an eye doctor in New Jersey and was trying to help a patient of mine who was working and living in Massachusetts He had a severe conjunctivitis in one eye and I thought it would be prudent to have him checked locally. I called Dr Keamy's office and this staff member decided to make up a diagnosis herself over the phone (she would not listen to me or get the facts) refused to continue with making the appointment for my patient. She put the patient at risk for potential loss of sight. When I tried to talk to her she would yell and then hang up the phone. The Patient ended up going to Reliant Medical Group and was treated immediately and appropriately for conjunctivitis.. Dr Keamy would be wise to fire this staff member immediately and I don't recommend anybody go to that office until she does.. Dr Mike from New Jersey

I previously wrote a bad review for Hopkinton Vision Center and I am updating it because of the…read moreoutreach of Dr. Perryman to me upon seeing my previous review. All those things happened but they are not the fault of Dr. Perryman. I firmly believe the experience I had was due to staff issues and not him. I have never had a doctor reach out to me like that. I had been under the mistaken opinion that HE wouldn't allow me to cancel my order because the receptionist put me on hold for a long time and I thought she might be consulting him. That's why you shouldn't assume. Dr. Perryman is an excellent eye doctor. I was impressed by his people skills and the way he made sure I got the contacts that were right for me. I apologize to Dr. Perryman for my first review. He promised me he would work with his staff (I can't help but wonder if they get a % of money sold on contacts) to correct their practices. I have no doubt that he will. If I could delete the other review, I would.

I had a lovely visit today. I hadn't seen an eye doctor in a long time and let's just say that with…read moreage things are starting to get blurry. I've found that most doctors lately rush through appointments and base their treatments on what is covered by insurance. Dr. Perryman took the time to explain my unique situation in terms I understood. He also is very kind and seemed interested in getting to know me personally. The experience reminded me of the small town doctors of the past. The office staff is super friendly and the space is comfortable. They even have free drinks and snacks which is nice. On top of that, he didn't try to hard sell me on purchasing glasses at the office but did explain that what they offer is high quality. I'm grateful to have this practice in town.

I would recommend another optometrist in the area. The receptionists and tech were nice, but Dr…read moreJeff was pretty standoffish and unpleasant. I felt like I was more of a nuisance than an appreciated patient. He was curt and made me feel like he couldn't be done with the appt soon enough. I've never been this disconcerted at a doctors office before. Horrible vibe. In regards to the mask mandate, there is no state mandate in place and I am medically exempt from wearing a mask as they induce panic attacks. Panic attacks can cause you to cry and your nose to run. It would make NO sense for me to trigger this during an EYE exam when you're trying to keep people safe from these facial fluids in the first place. It's appalling to treat special needs people this way! Just because you refuse to read the updated peer reviewed studies on cloth and surgical masks and their ineffectiveness during this pandemic, that the CDC themselves cited, doesn't mean you can behave in such a discriminatory way. The CDC exempts those who can't wear them. I can't imagine another doctor complaining that someone with special needs made them uncomfortable. Do better and be nicer to those who have special needs.

I strongly suggest you stay away from this practice. I could go into detail as to how many issues…read moreI had with them. But will sum up with the following. They have no regard for the Optometric Oath and ultimately abandoned me as a patient (for no legal or any explanation as to why) putting me in harms way in terms of my health and safety and safety of others. I have never dealt with such a degree of lack of professionalism from staff to technicians to doctors.
