I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Keamy Eye & Laser Centre in Westborough for cataract…read moresurgery. From my first consultation, throughout two cataract surgeries and subsequent follow-up appointments, I found Dr Keamy and her entire staff to be informative and supportive. Prior to my first surgery, Dr. Keamy explained in "layman's terms" exactly what the surgery would entail. On the day of surgery I was extremely nervous, however, Dr Keamy put me at ease and the experience was far less stressful than I had anticipated. Not only is Dr. Keamy a skilled surgeon, she is also passionate about what she does. My vision is far better than I expected and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. With absolute certainty I would recommend Dr. Keamy for any type of eye procedure especially cataract surgery. If I ever again have cause for eye surgery, Keamy Eye & Laser Centre is the only practice I would consider. Thank you Dr. Keamy and your wonderful staff for providing me with such great care.

Dr. Keamy gave me her professional advice and a plan. I'm Very Glad I chose her for this procedure. I was not nervous her whole office and the hospital were amazing the procedure last a few moments about 15-20 minutes. Had a follow up the next morning my vision was 20/35 a month later 20/20 after doing the one eye it was decided the left Eye was good and did not require surgery as initially thought. Fantastic news for me. My friends all knew how blind I was. Night time driving was like seeing UFOs flying by bright light. Now it's like 4k ultra. So Yes I would highly recommend Dr. Keamy and her office. She has changed my life. She gave me back my vision. Thank you Dr. Keamy

I strongly suggest you stay away from this practice. I could go into detail as to how many issues…read moreI had with them. But will sum up with the following. They have no regard for the Optometric Oath and ultimately abandoned me as a patient (for no legal or any explanation as to why) putting me in harms way in terms of my health and safety and safety of others. I have never dealt with such a degree of lack of professionalism from staff to technicians to doctors.

I would recommend another optometrist in the area. The receptionists and tech were nice, but Dr…read moreJeff was pretty standoffish and unpleasant. I felt like I was more of a nuisance than an appreciated patient. He was curt and made me feel like he couldn't be done with the appt soon enough. I've never been this disconcerted at a doctors office before. Horrible vibe. In regards to the mask mandate, there is no state mandate in place and I am medically exempt from wearing a mask as they induce panic attacks. Panic attacks can cause you to cry and your nose to run. It would make NO sense for me to trigger this during an EYE exam when you're trying to keep people safe from these facial fluids in the first place. It's appalling to treat special needs people this way! Just because you refuse to read the updated peer reviewed studies on cloth and surgical masks and their ineffectiveness during this pandemic, that the CDC themselves cited, doesn't mean you can behave in such a discriminatory way. The CDC exempts those who can't wear them. I can't imagine another doctor complaining that someone with special needs made them uncomfortable. Do better and be nicer to those who have special needs.
