Took away from the seafood proteins; I feel saffron or some other herby element would have been a better choice but none the less, it was a good dish. Frankly you should expect a lot More from a four seasons establishment. The wedge salad was yum and the pork belly appetizer was inspired. But we should've stopped there! It's Wyoming right, so when you order a steak you have expect a Fred Flintstone Brontosaurus chop to land on the table and flip it over. NOPE! Not here, a thin $90 piece of shoe leather is what you get! This falls in the WTF category! Look I know steak and $90 in NYC but you the most amazing slab of meat at Gallaghers or Keens. Sad though that I need to visit NY to get a proper piece of meat! Service was great. Cocktail yummy. Even had the table next to Reese Witherspoon. We made a reservation a few days in advanced and when we arrived the hostess said she would see if she could get us in (a bit weird as there were maybe 5 tables seated AND we had a reservation). A few moments later they sat us at a nice table near the window and our server greeted us. We ordered some appetizers-- shrimp cocktail & oysters. Oysters = great, shrimp = meh. While on vacation in Teton Village, we made very last minute reservations for our 27th anniversary celebration dinner, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The servers were pleasant, efficient, & competent with recommendations. The complimentary hot bread & butter was delicious. We each had a filet with au poivre, & both of us said it was one of the best steaks we've had. I appreciate getting the sauce on the side so the steak could be enjoyed plain or with the sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, flavorful and had a nice exterior crust. The mac & cheese was outstanding. For dessert we had the s'mores for two, which was a fun way to end our fantastic meal. A nice extra touch was the "Happy Anniversary" chocolate. The overall ambience was lovely, & the seating was comfortable. Kudos to the chef, kitchen staff, wait staff, & cleaning crew. Thank you for making our dinner extra special. A perfect stop heading on or off the slopes any time of day -- with a particularly spectacular dinner experience, especially staying in-house at the Four Seasons, not only convenient but exceptionally delicious, and a terrific view of all the ski action steps away during the daylight hours. The dinner menu's offerings are hearty, fitting for a long day on the slopes and snow. Steaks were a particular highlight on the menu, bar none -- so many cuts (including options for Elk and Buffalo) curated from the best of regional producers. Bring a friend for large format steaks. Ended up being a perfect transition from oysters, wedge salad, to an awesome Elk steak complete with tomahawk bone... and Mac'n'Cheese with lobster for good measure. Wines produced by Jackson Hole Winery with Sonoma / Russian River Valley grapes were terrific. Just an amazingly satisfying dinner before heading upstairs refueled for the next day's adventure. FOOD: - [HIGHLY RECOMMEND] Truffle Mac & Cheese (5/5) - More like a gemelli pasta, so creamy with just enough cheese baked on top that there was a satisfying cheese pull for the top pieces. Comes out piping hot in a skillet, honestly could have been my main because it was nice and filling, I couldn't even finish it. - [HIGHLY RECOMMEND] Cauliflower Side (5/5) - Has the most amazing sauce I've ever had with a vegetable. Today is my wife's birthday and we wanted to go somewhere special. We chose to come to Westbank grill. They were first class all the way. We had reservations and I highly recommend that you do the same. We ordered the shrimp and crab appetizer followed by the wagyu iron steak and the dry aged angus ribeye. But steaks were great but the dry aged ribeye was a lot better. The wines were great. We had a glass of Chardonnay with the appetizer, a glass of Pinot noir with the steak, and a port with desert. The crab + shrimp cocktail appetizer was phenomenal and didn't skimp on portion size. The beef tenderloin was delicious and prepared perfectly at medium rare. We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday! The ambiance is nice and warm and romantic. I grabbed a spicy cucumber margarita to quench my thirst, and it was the perfect choice. Spicy but refreshing. The octopus to start was extremely flavorful and delicious! The tenderloin was a great steak choice and I recommend the bearnaise sauce to go with it. One of us had the elk and raves about it! The crab legs were amazing as well! I recommend one person grab a steak and someone else get crab legs, and share! Surf n turf style! Yumm. Our waiter spilled the beans at the beginning of dinner, that we were having a surprise birthday celebration. But we forgot about it and enjoyed our dinner. When we found the Westbank Grill we were looking for the gastropub but It was closed. The restaurant staff was very kind. This restaurant is in the Four Seasons so it is quite pricey. The food was great though. My kids had the poke bowl. The waiter wasn't used to kids eating raw fish so he made sure we knew it was raw. The kids loved the bowl. I ordered the corn salad. The vegan chorizo was so yummy it could have used more! My husband fish tacos were fantastic. My parents really enjoyed their burger. Most of the food has some kind of spice so I order my baby a side of avocado. I will tell you that was the most expensive avocado I have ever bought! Haha! I'm glad he ate it. Easily the best meal that I had while in Jackson. To start, we shared a grand tower. Everything was incredible. I tried a bit of everyone's food at the table and the trout and duck stood out the most. Although the trout I had at Nora's in Wilson was pretty close in quality. I had the wagyu NY strip which was incredible (as it should be for $100+). It was honestly one of the best steaks that I've ever had. The $15 side of broccoli is kind of a joke, but it's the Four Seasons, so to be expected. My only regret was not trying the lobster truffle mac and cheese. Definitely end your meal with the cowboy cookie. read more

The 4 Seasons does not disappoint. I had "the" best chicken with a sauce to die for. The service was outstanding and when I requested cocktail sauce to replace their less than great "butter hybrid ", they quickly complied for my oysters. If you have to ask is it expensive, then don't go there--it is very expensive, but worth it for the experience to brag to your friends, who were too intimidated and they ended up eating overpriced hamburgers in Teton Village resort area. Great view of the ski area and an occasional celebrity sighting in the restaurant. I decided to splurge and glad I did. read more

True to expectations, Westbank Grill offered the best dining experience in Teton Village. After eating here and at Flame at Four Seasons Vail, I'm thinking about going to Whistler next year partially just so I can eat at whatever restaurants are housed at the Four Seasons there. Regarding the menu, don't be a bozo. Get the grand shellfish tower and split the tomahawk ribeye. Iconoclast cab sav if you can't make heads or tails of the wine list. This is what life is all about. Don't worry, the locals will still hate you for having an Ikon Pass and not spending enough money on your vacation. Note that the "crispy octopus and diver scallop" contains a single scallop, so, though the presentation was nice, we felt kind of silly having to split that one up. As far as sauces go, the Bearnaise was excellent, but there was a snafu with freshly-ground horseradish. Our waitress excitedly proclaimed that she would be able to procure it, then it didn't show up, then, after being asked again, she finally brought us a small dish containing fewer shavings than I produced last time I sharpened a pencil. read more

Sat tonight on my reservation with high hopes. Lovely server, Shannon, taking care of us. All went beautifully until our steaks were way overcooked. We were starving, so began eating and were well along before anyone came around to ask how they were cooked. Flavor was good, temperature was a huge miss. Broccolini dish was garbage. Potato was excellent. Server said she'd alert the manager about our steaks. Apparently she came by, ask "how's everything" while our mouths were full, and left before we could even answer . After the bill came it turns out she was the manager, Estella. Unfortunate for her she was hired out of school and seriously lacked experience and any ability to handle a situation that was strictly business, rather than making it personal. Really unfortunate given I had a client with me at dinner. In short, she was totally inept and we had to get the FB Mgr to the table - Nick. That went almost as well, and after yet another struggle, he reluctantly agreed to take care of the steaks. Really? What a joke. Four Seasons knows better and they failed big time here. Btw, this hotel is decorated from the 80's, with ample granite surfaces. They're apparently due to completely overhaul the place - so that should be fun for paying guests! Good luck with your meal at Westbank Grill. The staff don't have a clue what they're doing so put your mouth guard in for the fight you'll have to ruin your meal over to endure the final bill! read more

I ordered the trout and let me tell you that it was a bouquet of invigorating flavors; the flaky layers of fish and crispy skin of the trout went so well with the sauces and how wonderful was the cauliflower rice. We started with wine from Jackhole Winery (which is fantastic - we'd also recommend doing a tasting there). For an appetizer we shared the truffle pasta which was to die for. We didn't want the last bite to end. Small portion so it was perfect for a rich meal and a little bite. I had the wedge salad - always a favorite - and he had shrimp cocktail. For the main course, we had the elk chop with truffle butter which was RIDICULOUS. I can't get over how delicious it was. It was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes on the side were also outstanding. We ended the meal with bananas foster which is my go-to. The waiter seemed to underplay it, but I also get it at the FS and am never disappointed. My husband who is very picky with desserts very much enjoyed it. One of the best meals I've had for dinner. The breakfast the next morning was also stellar. We split an appetizer and each got an entree. Very elegant and service is excellent. We ordered the crab toast, which was delicious, so fresh and flavorful. I ordered the red trout which I would highly recommend, especially if you are visiting the area from a part of the country that trout is not readily available. My boyfriend ordered the duck confit and he loved it. Portions are a bit on the smaller side but so delicious. The breakfast portions are huge in comparison. Westbank Grill is a very classic, ski/lodge updated steakhouse serving more than just steaks. They offer a nice array of appetizers and dishes, suitable for very different tastes. We started with the scallop & pork belly as well as the wagyu beef tartare. The first dish was a delicious flavor combination but the pork belly itself was mostly fat with very little meat-- even for pork belly standards. The wagyu beef tartare was nicely plated and was presented with smoke. The crouton served with it, however, crumbled too easily so it was a little unmanageable, but the flavor was delicious and the beef was unbelievable. Finished with the sea bass. I'm particular to Japanese style, but this was nicely prepared. Perhaps slightly salty on the skin side but was well cooked but not overly done or dry. It was a large portion with delicious mushrooms and potatoes-- both of which I wish were more on the plate. As always the service at four seasons is up to par, and the dining staff was well in step with that. If I could change one thing, however, I would space the seating by the windows just a tad bit more. I was bumped several times because of how the chairs were positioned. Not a big deal, but I'm fairly small and it would have been much more intrusive to someone larger. read more

My husband and I were recently in Jackson with our best friends for our annual ski/snowboard trip. We were very excited to dine at the Four Seasons Westbank Grill. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in both the food and the service. Our server was very inattentive. Quality of the food was terrible. I got the sea scallops and they were overcooked and tasted like rubber and chemicals. My friend got salmon which was also poorly prepared and overcooked. Westbank Grill is an upscale establishment that has a very fine selection of options. One massive plus is their wine menu is extensive and is curated by a sommelier who knows his/her craft. This wine list rivals 5 star steakhouses in LA and NYC. I order the pork belly and the fettuccine to start. Both were perfectly balanced and delicious. The fettuccine is Al dent and the past is made in house. For dinner we had the bison filet and the 18oz dry aged bison ribeye. The meat was cooked to perfect and was seasoned wonderfully.
