I mean, what's better than a cheese pie for lunch? A cheese pie for breakfast. Lol. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the bakery during the week because they're open hours are somewhere around 8am-3pm, so I endulge on weekends with family or sometimes just drive there myself . It's nice that this bakery is on the west side and I do not have to drive to the east to get cheese pies. I've tried the zataar & cheese, meat & cheese, and just cheese. Always order the longs if feeding family. They're always good and if you stand and wait you can see them cooking fresh out of the oven. Only thing is - the older gentleman that primarily uses the oven doesn't wear gloves and I've seen him touch everything bare handed. I just close my eyes and pray he washes them regularly because, well, cheese pies are worth it. read more

Very good manaeesh! They make it fresh and not reheated like a lot of the other places. The gentleman was very nice and they even offered us mini pizzas to try while we were waiting! I would definitely come here again, you can really taste the difference and it smells divine! I love the pies here and the dough and seasonings are wonderful. I often will walk out with 2 boxes full of them for lunch and dinner. The freshest ingredients and generous layering of cheeses and meat fillings. When I can make it here, it's always a good day. Very happy that we have the West Village Bakery in our neighborhood! First bakery in west Dearborn that's actually near me so I am beyond excited! No more driving to east Dearborn for my Manaeesh fix. Today was my first time trying it and I got zaatar with cheese. The zaatar is perfect, Manaeesh is not too oily, and they're generous on the cheese. What more can you ask for!? They even have mango juice and other juice selections. Although there is no seating, they are super quick with carry outs. They offer a couple items to buy like tea, lentils, olives, and lebneh which I'm sure will come in handy one of these days. I'm happy middle eastern bakeries are starting to venture out to other areas. I'll definitely be back :) read more

When you get pepperoni on a round pizza , you only get 4 pepperonis. C'mon 4 ??
