This is SO much better than all of the craptastic ones that my parents took me to when I was a kid…read more Most dojos/academies have one of two basic problems: they're either so strict that very few young kids will stay motivated and interested with their "boot camp" style, or they are so lax and unprepared that they can't even break basic moves down into their composite movements and posture. Inspiration not only keeps it fun and exciting for kids, but also provides extensive instruction on how to execute every segment of every maneuver. They also teach everything from social and life skills to personal safety in non-violent situations as well as the physical ones. Kids and adults learn and advance at their own pace, and they have a variety of packages from basic TKD to sparring, weapons, hyper (trick/stunt styles) and kickboxing and Krav Maga for older kids and adults. You can also choose from a basic 2 classes per week or a more intensive schedule. Please remember that you get what you pay for. The tuition is about 2-3 times what I had initially intended to pay, but the results as well as support system are well worth it, and they do have payment plans with multiple options to help you to afford their fees. They also have great family rates so that your while family can train for around the same price as 2 or 3 people, depending upon which package you choose. For the first time since I became a parent, I finally have a team that is able to reinforce the lessons I teach my sons, both positive and disciplinary. You can also see the results by the number of district/state/world champions who have trained here, as well as by the roles their students take on in the community. My youngest son used to be very wild and disobedient in comparison to his brothers. My middle son was beaten up about twice a week in his old school, and the administration did nothing to correct the problem. My oldest son wanted an outlet to grow his athletic and leadership skills. Inspiration ATA has helped us to take care of all of that and more. This is probably the best investment I've ever made...and I hold multiple college degrees including an M.A. If you are willing and able to make the investment in their programs, the dividends reaped will far outweigh the costs. In addition to fitness and self defense, your child will develop self-confidence/self-esteem, respect, discipline, vision, teamwork, leadership, community responsibility, academic focus, and so much more. I love my boys, and as of this writing, this is probably the best choice that I have ever made for their growth, development, and well-being as they become more independent and capable adults.

However, walking into BSP and meeting Ms Carmela and the other amazing teachers, left us with a sense of relief. Then when our kids started, the teachers kindness/support towards all the children and staff's great communication with parents only reinforced our decision. Both our kids graduated from BSP! The infant room teachers made me feel so comfortable and most importantly my baby girl loves it! It's only been a couple months but she leaves with a smile on her face and doesn't cry when I drop her off anymore. The app updates are fabulous- they tell us what she ate, when she napped, diapers changed and of course the best part PICTURES! I love that they send me pictures of her while I'm at work. You have the usual hiccups with a new baby at daycare- lots of illness being spread between the kids, but they are really good about giving us notice for when stuff is starting to spread. The classrooms are clean and despite all the other kids in the room I really feel like my little girl is getting a lot of individualized attention. Seriously amazing place I can't recommend it enough Update: She has since moved into the older classroom and her teacher is also phenomenal! She learns a lot and is always coming home with new pictures and her vocabulary is really taking off. They also threw a really cute event for Halloween and have fun parties. Just absolutely love this place and the teachers- Ashley the director, Josie in the infant room, Emily in the 1 year old room and Kayleigh in the older 1s and 2s (I think that is her name, yikes I feel bad) are some of the stand outs. Daycare is of course expensive but for the quality of the teachers, it's really a great value.
