Working with the owner was OK. I got 3 bids and Stewart roofing was the lowest but there is a catch that you'll need to consider. Stewart's bid doesn't include Ice and Water shield. It wasnt on the bid as an option either. The others did include it. When i inquired about this i was informed it wasn't necessary. I did some research and 99% of other companies i checked with said its important. Im scratching my head at this point. I had somewhat of a working relationship with Stewart (they did a previous repair which went great) so i took Richard's word cause of his longevity in the career. I asked a lot of questions and they finally gave a cost to do it which i should of accepted but thought it was too high so i didn't. Im a bit concerned about that but only time will tell. The roof seems fine for the most part. Im not an expert. The job went fine with a couple hiccups. I struggled with leaving a review considering my concerns but here i am. Overall my experience was pretty good so im giving a 4 star.

Within a couple of hours they had someone at my house tarping off the questionable section. Sure enough that night we had a wind/rain storm. My attic was dry the next morning. Later that week they came out and replaced flashing, replaced the damaged plywood under the roof, and re-reroofed the damaged section. He even replaced the 25 year old skylight, for just the price of buying the skylight at Home Depot. These guys stand behind their roofs. It's nice knowing that if there's a problem, they've got you covered. Would use them again if I need a roof.

Lifetime Fist Roofs was my 6th company to come out(7th if you count the no show) He was the most thorough of all the companies. He took pictures and notes along the way. He explained everything and answered all my questions and never treated me like I was an idiot like two of the other companies The estimate was clear and concise and I had options. Today, about eight months later, I discovered some rain water leaking down through the ventilation fan over my kitchen stove. I called Scott and he was here within the hour. Turns out, it was the roof vent had a rivet joint that failed, which was nothing to do with the new roof that he installed. He still fixed the leak for me at no charge.
