Jeff, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. He came to our house (on a weekend!) to give us a detailed estimate. Jeff is always really responsive over e-mail and he also sends us a reminder before each cleaning, which is super helpful. I appreciate how professional and convenient Merry Maids is. The workers show up in uniforms and the company has insurance in case anything goes wrong. They also accept credit cards, so you can have them automatically bill you. We are signed up for a once a month cleaning, but they are very flexible and you can choose a different frequency. The first visit cost a little bit more because they did a deep clean of the whole house. Now they clean everything and do deep cleans of two areas (which rotate each month). We love coming home after our house is cleaned. Everything smells good and the house is spotless. They also leave a little card with the names of our cleaners and what areas they focused on. We were previously using a self-employed cleaning person, but we are much happier with Merry Maids. Our previous maid only accepted paper checks (which was a pain), frequently changed our cleaning day (to be more convenient for her), and wasn't transparent about who her assistants were or what kind of insurance she had.

He quickly replaced the flame sensor and the igniter, getting the system back up and running in no time. She has been cleaning for my boyfriend for 3+ years, and I moved in over a year ago and have been so lucky to get to know her!! She is meticulous, she is detail oriented, she is trustworthy, she is fast, she is flexible, she is everything you have ever been looking for in a home cleaner! I leave her lists often on "extra" things to do.... baseboards, inside Refrigerator, oven, etc. not once has she ever been not able to complete the "extras" without hesitation. Her prices are unreal. I put…read more"need" in quotes because I think the default for many of us is to procrastinate and/or ignore the cluttered places in our home without realizing how much they live in our subconscious minds and affect our attitudes and mood. I used to think hiring an organizer like Jean was a "luxury" and not a "need" but now I realize bringing in a professional is definitely worth it! She helped my fiancé and me via a virtual organizing session with de-cluttering our laundry room. The running joke in the house if we can't find something is "it's in the laundry room". Now, instead of digging through piles of stuff to find it we have an organized space where it's easy to find what we need. Working with Jean helped us settle on a solid "plan of attack" with some quality tips on how to get started (the hardest part in my opinion ). It was also super helpful to have a third party bridge the gap between my fiancé's and my organizing techniques so we had a unified strategy in place. Our session with Jean gave us the momentum we needed to start tackling other projects around the home that we've been putting off for way too long. Now our house feels so much more peaceful and it's a space that we both feel comfortable living (and currently working ) in. As a bonus, Jean is also a great artist and illustrator.
