The cleaning job was pretty thorough, and the cleaner was responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion, we received a last-minute cancellation, leaving us in a bind! Once, the issue was that all the cleaners needed training, which they told us on the day of. Last weekend, we were told on the day of the cleaning the cleaner had a personal situation (which is never great to hear right before hosting a party). This morning, we were told around 8:30am that our 8am cleaning wouldn't be happening (making our early morning wake up and prep on the one day I get to sleep in completely unnecessary). Do not recommend this especially if you want to focus on specific areas. I was quoted 300$ for a 1900 sq ft home. Cleaning windows are 25$ apiece. Cleaning appliances attract an additional fee as well. The home is already in good shape and needed attention in a couple of areas that we mentioned to Suzy. When the cleaning guy arrived, we explained it to him as well. He was in a rush and said that he needs to start immediately. He said the job would take around 5-6 hours. Fast forward to 3 hours, 45 min I received a call, saying that the cleaning is about to finish. I reached the place quickly to check the results and probably tip the cleaner if I like it. To my surprise, he already left. Well, maybe they don't expect tips for the quality of service that they provide. None of the places that I mentioned over the phone were cleaned. The kitchen was not scrubbed. The only good thing about the service was the bathrooms. They were immaculately clean. So I called up Suzy to discuss the situation, but guess who does not want to pick the call. Totally disappointing. Do not be fooled by the 5-star reviews. I booked Maria's Green Cleaning through Yelp's finder system to clean an apartment before new tenants moved in. For $245, the goal was to make the already clean 900sqft 2bd 2ba apartment immaculate so that the new tenants would feel like the home was brand new. The cleaner spent just shy of 3 hours cleaning the place. As far as I could tell, she didn't use any cleaning products, just moist cleaning towels. She did an especially good job on the bathrooms. But in the kitchen, it turns out cleaning the cabinets, refrigerator, and oven are an extra charge. Given that she was just wiping everything down, I wasn't convinced to spend on something I could do myself in 10 minutes. One thing that irked me was that the countertops didn't actually end up that clean, since she just used towels... I had to re-do them with a scrubby sponge later to get them nice, clean and smooth. Throughout the rest of the house, she did mop the floors, but only dusted the baseboards. The baseboards could have really used a sponge wipe. But that was extra. Overall I think she did save me 3 hours of my own work, and that's something. But I was expecting a more professional approach and outcome. read more

Unfortunately, the cleaning result was VERY disappointing for my one bedroom apartment. The appointment setup was easy, and Michelle on the call was very friendly and easy to work with. I scheduled for a 3 labor hours cleaning for my apartment, as that's the minimum required time for each appointment. I paid the cleaners 3 labor hours when they arrived, and asked them to do regular cleaning everywhere (vacuum, wipe, clean the bathroom and countertops...etc), and detailed cleaning for window sills and wiping all interior of cabinets and drawers. I specifically asked them to please call me before they're done, as I don't want them to leave the apartment with the door unlocked. I checked back in before the 3 labor hour's time is up, and they were LONG GONE! I'm fine paying for 3 labor hours when they only needed to work for 2 labor hours, IF they had cleaned the apartment fully. However, I see specs on the floor and specs and dust in the cabinets. Made me wonder if they even vacuum the floor fully. They left the job unfinished and with no updates to me at all. I called the company about this, and was told they'll call me back (either to have the cleaners go finish the job and complete their missing hour that I had already paid for, or give me a partial refund). But I never heard back from them. I emailed the company, texted and called the company, but no response for one whole week. When I told them I'll be leaving an honest review for this project, they messaged me saying they'll give me $20 credit on account for my next cleaning. NO, thank you. I will not be using this company for cleaning jobs in the future. It's not about the money; it's about the quality of cleaning and how the company deals with unfinished jobs/complaints. read more

Despite how stellar the other reviews were, I was left sorely disappointed in my experience with Maria's Cleaning Services. First, the cleaners did not show up at all at the appointed time, and I was made aware of the situation two or three hours after the fact. Fortunately (or maybe not so fortunately), I was able to get an appointment the following day. Fine, shit happens, no big deal. My biggest gripe is with the quality of the cleaning service itself. I had requested cleaning services with baseboard, fridge, and cabinet and drawer add-ons for a new home. The place was already in a decent condition to begin with but I wanted to hire cleaning services to finish those last few bits. The result was disappointingly sloppy. Large corners of the floor were missed. At least several cabinet drawers were not cleaned at all. Several obvious stains remained on the countertops. Given how little there was to do in the first place, there's no excuse for this kind of sloppiness. Not the cheapest place either. Advise to look elsewhere. read more

They're super professional house cleaners and do a great job with window washing, carpet cleaning, and deep home cleaning. They were also very friendly and didn't disrupt the kids at all and did a great job working around them especially when they were carpet cleaning. We just used Maria's Green Cleaning Services once we moved into our new house. Before I mention the cleaning, I must mention the communication with Suzy. We moved over Christmas break and initially we scheduled for the first week of January. However, we had an accident during the move, and our hardwood floors needed to be re-sanded and redone. So, I had to reschedule. Then, we had to reschedule the hardwood floors, which required yet another reschedule with Suzy. Changing three times - every time Suzy was friendly, professional, understanding and quick to respond. When cleaning day finally arrived, we had Gabriel. All I can say is wow. This is the first time we've had house cleaning services as I'm very picky about what gets cleaned and how. Gabriel took the time and care that I take when cleaning my house. He would finish a floor, let me know and ask if everything was okay. Making beds is part of the service, but I stripped all of our sheets before he arrived. I had a change of sheets for every bed but one, and he double checked if it was okay that he left that bed unmade (as the sheets were in the washing machine). He was very polite and very concerned about how happy I was with everything. We used Maria's cleaning for move out cleaning for a 1 BR + den apartment. I was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday with them which was really great. They did a fabulous job and cleaned up everything with vaccumming & mopping floors, deep cleaning carpet (of bedroom), deep cleaning of bathroom tub etc. They also cleaned the window sills. We have been using them for over a year now and no plans to change. We use them for typical cleaning and once when we moved to do an extra deep cleaning. They do a great job and always leave that extra special touch like making the bed really nice and placing the couch pillows just to look pretty. I really appreciate how flexible they are, especially due to COVID, when we felt that we didn't need cleaning as often or needed to reschedule. A note about covid- it was scary at first to have someone come into your house but they wear masks the whole time which I know isn't comfortable! Very appreciative of that! They also have other house cleaning services or maids/house cleaners for hire. It's a great idea to hire them to come weekly, keeping your house clean is very important!! I'd personally recommend them because of how great they cleaned my house. They made sure that the proper products were used for each surface (for example: wood cleaner and tile cleaner are different), and when I asked them to get certain corners, they did it no questions asked! I contacted the company for a quote and Suzy replied: "$180 For a moved out deep cleaning entails heavy scrubbing of the kitchen and bathroom areas like the floors, tiles, bathtubs, showers, and sink plus sweeping, mopping of the floors, wiping, dusting and vacuuming of the carpets." I scheduled the cleaner. Gabriel showed up right on time to clean my studio apartment. He said it'd take him about two hours and I was shocked but I kept my faith. I received a call from Suzy exactly two hours later letting me know Gabriel was finished and left. I expressed my disappointment for paying $90/hr for what I was suspicious was not enough time to do a good enough job to demand that price. She said Gabriel was one of their best and that she saw photos, the place looked great and I'd be happy. I stopped by after work to find a still dirty apartment that was in no way move-out ready or worthy of $90/hr. The kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned, counters and surfaces weren't touched, the bathroom sink had soap scum, the vacuuming hadn't been done in the space between where the carpet ends and the baseboards start so there was a dusty black ring around the apartment, and the tub...don't even get me started! I called Suzy, no answer. I took several pictures after leaving my detailed voicemail. Suzy called back and told me the cleaning was only for "heavy scrubbing of the kitchen and bathroom.." I repeated myself over and over the areas neglected to which she was defensive and firm the job was completed as agreed. After going 'round and 'round I told her I would proceed with a stop payment (which I've never done before) and she said that would be unfair. I explained it was unfair to charge for a service that wasn't provided. She failed to listen to my concerns, offer to come back to see the spots I was describing or give a credit back. Whenever I had moved, I always had the help from friends and family and only hired professional movers to transport my belongings to my new home. I had never used house cleaning services before, so I wasn't sure what to expect from the Seattle Cleaning Company but needless to say, they completely exceeded my expectations. My cleaning lady was nice and careful with her work, and since I am quite a messy person, she had a lot to clean up, but nonetheless did an amazing job. The carpet was also a little dirty from just years of living at the house, but it nearly looked brand new after the cleaning service. Being bad at time management I had realized I needed help with moving out very last minute. Many of my friends were busy at the time, so I had no other choice to ask for professional help. I had packed everything I needed to but after packing up everything I realized how much I needed to clean. On such short notice the Seattle Cleaning Company was able to come right when I needed them, being very accommodating and polite. They did not just exceed in their cleaning service, but also in customer service. With such an amazing experience I had recommended this company to a friend who was moving out of her apartment. The company also offered an apartment move out cleaning service that was perfect for her, and they got the job done just as well as when they cleaned out my home. I had Maria's Green Cleaning come and clean my apartment 4 times and have decided to not continue with their service. First the positives: their customer service team is very nice and all of the cleaners who have come by are extremely kind. They have great COVID precautions as well, and the most recent cleaning was spotless and included a tidy up. The neutrals: the first time someone came to clean they didn't vacuum the living room and the entire apartment smelled of bleach (which is not a green product). To their credit after I reached out the cleaning itself did improve significantly week over week (a positive for their customer service). The negatives: I understand that life happens, but I had a day where cleaning was cancelled with no notice, the cleaner who came the following day to make up the appointment was an hour and a half late, and the most recent cleaner was 30 minutes late after requesting that I reschedule to an earlier time for them, which means that I got everything ready 30 minutes early for no reason. During the final cleaning it seems the cleaning team must have dropped/broke my plant spray bottle, tried to fix it (I can see the glue remnants) and then when they couldn't fix it, threw away the broken part and did not reach out to let me know what had happened. The broken bottle isn't a huge deal as it wasn't extremely expensive, but the lack of communication about it is unacceptable to me. read more

Cleaner does not show up on time. I had to call to find out why. 3. Mediocre cleaning job for 170 dollars. One of the cleaners was very thorough. I am so happy I went with them. I am proud to say my apartment has never been cleaner. Originally, I hired them for a deep home cleaning because my place was a mess. Living with two dogs is not easy. I also have a boyfriend and a roommate who rarely clean. I like to be able to see my reflection in the steel appliances (haha!). They were professional house cleaners who were on-time, enthusiastic and prepared. After, I decided I needed them twice a month because they not only clean my apartment but I can pay for carpet cleaning as well! I love these home cleaners because they really deep clean. They cleaned the fridge and under my bed. Window washing is also an option which is fantastic given that the pollen has been so bad. My allergies were really bad when I moved into this apartment and they have cleared up since I started using this service. Last time they came (yesterday), I hired them to do a window washing and carpet cleaning and wow! Not only am I breathing better but I can actually see the difference in my windows. They also cleaned the bathroom so spotless I felt comfortable taking a bath this morning. I cannot express my gratitude enough. The woman made me feel so safe and comfortable. With a clean home, I am able to focus on my work! I do not feel stuffed up and sick from the dust. I already cannot wait for my next clean! This is a great service to use if you just wanted to do a cleaning in your house. By that, I mean they won't do an immaculate cleaning as you might need for a move-in/move-out cleaning. However, their price is so low as to be worth using if it's for your personal house. They tend to not allocate enough time for the deepest of cleanings when it comes to bathrooms, so it would be a good idea if you tell them that they only need to focus on bathrooms if that is the main areas of concern. They did do a good job in the bedroom in terms of making the bedding and vacuuming the floor. Beyond that, their cleaners tend to be not that good in English so you probably need to double or triple check with them if you have something specific. Besides those cons, my experience with them has been good. I would definitely use again, just not for a move-in/move-out type cleaning. read more

Nelly did a very good job and came here on time. I m satisfied with the overall quality. I ordered a deep cleaning service and becoz I haven't cleaned my house for a while and it is more work than we estimated. Nelly spent 1-2 more hours on helping us finishing everything which is quite impressive. And we have a lot of expired stuff in fridge and Nelly helped us remove everything as this was we asked and made sure it's clean again. She also provided good suggestions regarding how to deal with those extra trash and I really appreciate that. Just one suggestion(not to the cleaner, but to the Maria's in generally): some other cleaning service provider may have some optional upgrade options , like using steam vacuum for carpet sanitization, or some other steam devices for bath room sanitization. This is probably something that you can consider to provide (I understand the cost would be higher but some customers may like it Anyway, I think Nelly did a very good job and I will come to Maria's in the future if I need. read more

I was referred by a friend about Maria's Green Cleaning Services and i have to admit it's one of the best cleaning services. When I first contacted her and told her what I wanted done to my apartment she assured me that it would all be done perfect! I wish I would have found her cleaning services sooner because I am grateful for what they have done. They were extremely efficient and worked on a timely manner. The house cleaners that came to my apartment where very polite and respectful. Over the last couple years I have contacted other cleaning services and I have to say this one is the best so far! Their prices are also very affordable I was very scared to pay so much money and not have a good job done on my apartment. I used this service because I'm moving out of my apartment and I wanted to leave everything spotless clean and they left it amazing. I will for sure refer them to people around my area because their job still blows my mind. If you want someone to clean your apartment before you move out, you need to contact them. I can't express much how great their job is! I'm so glad I got refer to them! My friend got them a couple weeks ago to do a deep clean on their house and I have to say they know how to do their job! I will for sure contact then for the future! This was definitely worth paying for! I honestly plan on hiring them when I move into my new apartment because that's how much I loved their job! Maria's has been a great business to work with for my household cleaning. They have excellent availability, often booking me for the very next day, and the cleaners are very thorough. They even arranged some of my things in a decorative manner. Gabriel and team were amazing! Great attention to detail and reasonable duration for a deep cleaning. The house sparkled and stayed that way for a while.
