I'm surprised that Renda only has 20 reviews - she's truly amazing. I asked her to do a deep clean for a 2000 SQ ft townhome I just bought and installed new flooring into. She gave a quote that was slightly above other competitors but then described the reasoning behind her estimate. I went with her because it sounded like she knew what it would take to get my home move-in ready and she was incredibly responsive. I was not disappointed. She communicated with me every step of the way, was on time and did a phenomenal job. New flooring usually means a lot of dust everywhere but she cleaned, then waited, then cleaned, then waited and then cleaned again so that she could capture ALL of the settled dust. I had a deep cleaning done and will be having biweekly regular cleanings. A little hiccup scheduling the deep clean but was accommodating with prompt rescheduling. I work from home and my place isn't that big but was able to work in one area while they cleaned the other area and switched places as they cleaned the rest of the house. They replied promptly and were easy to schedule. Once they came to my house was when it became obvious I made a good choice. They worked very hard to undo years of build up. I had just moved out of a house I was planning on cleaning myself before the new owners moved in, but after packing and moving everything into the new house I just didn't have it in me to go back and clean everything. I contacted several companies through Yelp to get estimates but most were either already booked or didn't serve my area. Her rate was reasonable and she was extremely responsive and professional in working out a budget that worked for me. Hiring my first cleaning service was very exciting for me! I hate cleaning, and so do my roommates, so we decided to go in together on hiring a cleaner to come every two weeks and tidy up. I contacted quite a few cleaning companies via Yelp, and Renda was the first person who said she was available at the time I wanted. Her hourly rates were cheaper than the other companies, too. The first appointment went fine; she was a little late getting to our house, but we are hard to find so that was forgivable. Great. She did a good job and she let me pay her through Venmo (best app ever, get it) so that was also a plus. We scheduled another appointment for two weeks later, on Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning, she texts me saying the cleaner who was supposed to come has a sick child. Okay, fine. I asked if she could come Monday. No answer. I text her Monday asking if she can still come. No, she's not available. Okay. We set up another time, she comes, I'm satisfied. She did an okay job cleaning, but missed a few areas I specifically asked her to go over. We set up again for two weeks later, she again texts me Sunday morning to try to reschedule. We decide to just skip a week and get back on our biweekly. I ask her to let me know on Saturday if anything changes. She texts me at 9:30pm saying she can't make it. I replied asking if she could come Monday, and that's the last communication I had with her. The only reason to go to Positively Clean is the price. Renda is not professional and does not communicate well, which is VITAL in a scheduling reliant business. I never felt like she was putting us first, only coming around when it was convenient for her. Save your time and money and try a different service. read more

My partner and I moved into a "fixer upper" home a couple years ago, and beyond regular cleaning to keep our home habitable we haven't done a deep clean since we moved in (and it was our attempt at a deep clean, so mediocre at best). We also have two dogs who shed a LOT, and some areas of our home (windows, baseboards, corners) had not been properly cleaned in well over a year if not more so as you can imagine, a moderate sprinkling of dust, dirt and dog hair across many a surface. It was bad and something had to be done. I reached out to Renda based on the positive reviews to date asking if we could schedule a deep clean and she responded promptly to set up a free in-person estimate. She arrived on time, was very personable and professional and made sure she understood exactly what areas needed the most attention. Renda and her team came over and spent a good 5 hours cleaning top to bottom. When her team finished up, she texted me to let me know and encouraged me not only to reach out to let her know what we thought of this cleaning, but to share if we noticed any areas that needed more attention next time so that her team could make sure to take care of them next time. When we returned from a hike later that day, the place was sparkling, they did a wonderful job. I cannot believe how pristinely white our bathtub and old school cast iron white sink were. Renda did a great job on our house. We had a rental where the tenant moved out and we needed a move out deep cleaning done as soon as possible. The cleaner I have used in the past was booked up. Renda called me back right away and offered to come in over the weekend to clean it for me (rather than for me to wait until the following week). At first, I was a bit nervous using a new cleaner and not sure how the quality would be. She was friendly and kept in communication on when she was arriving. I felt I was able to trust her to do a good job on the cleaning without me being there that I left her the keys to lock the house up after she was done.
