Way over due, but I love love this local west seattle location. It has great outdoor seating and awesome art work inside by local artist. They open early for us early birds and staff amazing.

Delicious coffee, fast service, clean atmosphere with such a fun vibe!! Nice place to set up to work, read a good book or park yourself outside with some friends to catch up. All around fun spot!

Really cute little place and great coffee. Loved the taste of it and we had a great time there. I had my laptop with me and was able to spend there a couple of hours working from there. They had plenty of chargers, good Wi-Fi and the staff is really friendly!

The chai was definitly one of the better chais I have ever had. Sweet without overdoing it and with a good amount of spice. The cold brew was just decent but I really appreciate that they put it in a glass instead of plastic when I asked. The atmosphere was good with nice lighting and seating facing the large windows. The down side was that there didn't seem to be a tone of tables for more than two people so it is not a place for groups. They seemed to be really pet friendly even indoors which is always appreciated too. Overall a good place to grab a drink and relax.

Drip Coffee and Irish Cream Cold Brew

This place was busy for a Sunday morning, definitely a local favorite. Our coffees were made quickly and with care. I noticed my cold brew was shaken up in a shaker which seemed like a nice touch until I tasted it. My Irish Cream cold brew tasted like coffee with lemonade. It was very odd and not sure if the shaker was used and not washed for a citrus beverage prior to my drink or is there is citrus in the cold brew. It was so sour tasting I couldn't finish and was wasted and tossed. The drip coffee was fine, nothing out of the ordinary and didn't taste like lemonade. Unfortunately, I didn't taste my drink until I had already left and could not go back to have them remake it. Hopefully this was a onetime oversight and maybe wrong syrup was used. Regardless, the lemon and coffee sour is something I never want to try again.

Decaf latte with almond milk

I stopped in here to get some breakfast and coffee and work for a couple hours. I got the breakfast sandwich without cheese (decent), cranberry orange scone (incredible), and decaf latte with almond milk (decent, though they seem to use Caffe Umbria coffee, which I'm not a big fan of). The wifi was reliable, which is a huge plus when trying to join meetings. If I find myself in West Seattle again, I would come back here for scones!

Found this coffee shop while spending the day in West Seattle, and I am SO GLAD I stopped in!! The barista showed me the summer specials menu, so I ordered the Iced Brown Sugar Latté with Shaken Espresso, which was yummy and not too sweet! Also the Spinach & Cheese Bun which was filling and the perfect size. The interior is super cute and bright, plenty of spaces to sit down or work. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

Dirty environment and worn down furniture

Coffee and food is fine but the place is just so worn down and not cared for. The chairs are tearing at the seams and wiggle from being loose. Coffee (or wine?) spilled all down the wall, chipped counters and dirty floors. So much potential for this to be a cute place but so unwelcoming now.

Having a sacrificial barrier installed is wise especially since my custom headlights cost me $1k+. Neal set up an appointment and had me in and out within 30 minutes and his staff did a great job. No bubbles or unsightly frayed edges seen. The non-factory lens had numerous curvatures requiring care in stretching and tacking. (I'll update review after a few weeks of driving) There were many other car wrap installers close by and they offered ceramic this and nano that. Headlights simply needed a good, clear plastic barrier to weather small projectiles (and UV). So I opted for Xpel. This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

The batinjan (eggplant) and labneh wrap here has now taken its place in my pantheon of best…read moreeggplant bites I've ever had. Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

I only eat red meat rarely (liver health issues) but this place has some good reviews and my friends and I were really hungry after taking me to the liver doctors at University of Washington Medical Center. It was a cold but very sunny day and most importantly, I was being treated to FREE lunch! I liked my cheeseburger better here than any of the "fast casual" restaurants in West Seattle. This burger wasn't gourmet but it was simple and delicious. It did what it needed to do, which was feeding me a great burger and leaving me with the desire to get another one before I move back to the East Coast in May. The milkshake I had (strawberry) was sooooo good and thick. It took me two hours to eat/drink it because it was that thick. I will definitely get another one before I leave. Vanilla or chocolate.
