After the 1st time I went here for a service 3 or 4 years ago, I knew I would be back again for any subsequent service, because my perception of the staff at Knorrs Automotive is that they're very hard working and trustworthy. My lived experience matches up with what I felt in my gut pretty seamlessly so far each time I go there to get something fixed or looked at! I've had some bad experiences in my life with mechanics as I'm sure everyone does, but NEVER at Knorrs, they do the services I need, competently, and at a proactive pace (For the repairs I've needed with my car), for a reasonable price. I have nothing bad to say about them at all and would recommend them highly. They're busy so if someone seems curt or brief on the phone don't take it personal, but do take your vehicle in for service!!!! I'm from West Pgh and I'm thankful to have Knorrs Automotive in my neighborhood!!!!!! Thanks to all the staff who is making it happen down there!!! I just got done getting tires, an oil change and some other pre-winter services and I rode all the way home with my head in the clouds, bc I wasn't stressed about my car!!!! That's priceless!

His answer was that means they are luggie. I asked again what does that mean we did this for about five minutes finally he said they are snow tires they gave me the runaround were completely unprofessional total jerks I would never go there again if my life depended on it oh and they kept going outside to check my tire size because he didn't believe I knew what I was talking about probably because I'm female he said I'll go check the tire size I said I gave you the tire size he seif I'll go check again

I took the car to my dealer to double check that the rims and tires were in fact safe to drive on and, reassured that it was only cosmetic, was told that they worked with this vendor to repair damage like mine, that I could expect about $250 per wheel and it would look brand new. I wish I had taken photos because this was BAD and I was highly skeptical but, a few weeks later, I dropped off my car at my dealer on a scheduled date, they worked with Alloy to take my car there and, a couple of days later, I had my car back and it looked like this damage never even happened. They are magicians. I'm thrilled with the work and would recommend them highly.

We hit a giant pothole on Sunday and bent a rim when most rim places were closed. I emailed that afternoon to see if they could fix it for us first thing Monday so we could still make it to the eclipse. They got back to us right away. They fit us in and fixed the rim in just an hour for a great price! Really appreciate the team at Alloy for their great work and customer service. We made it to the eclipse and witnessed such a cool event because they saved us in a bind.

Mike #1 called me and asked what he could do to improve my experience with my tires. wow! I was impressed. He suggested I bring in the car and he would do what he could to make them look nicer. he said bring in today at 8am... I went in and #1 Mike not there but mike#2 was at desk and when I told him why I was there he sneered that they have no means to do what Mike #1 said! He took a look at the tires and it was raining and they didn't look as bad as when dry..but he went on to say that Uniroyal Power Paw is not a expensive tire and reminded me that it came from a dirty warehouse. I took my car and left. I went to NTB against my better judgement because they offered a comparative price to BJ's. Mike #1 never even showed up!

NTB-National Tire & Battery NTB Greentree Road has been the…read moreworste experience of my life. I went to NBT for a new battery two years ago, it was expensive ($411.00) but, had a five year warranty. After two years the battery went dead. When I went back to NTB they charge $99.00 to replace it under warranty. Well the nightmare began! Five to six of the mechanics kept looking at my car and kept asking me if several lights were light on my dashboard. When I asked them if there was a problem they said "no", we are just coding the battery to the car. I never heard of matching the battery with the car. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before every light on the dashboard came on. I couldn't even make it up Cochran Road. The car lost all power. I had it towed to the Volkswagen dealer and $168.95 later it was the vacuum hose. They installed the battery on the vacuum hose. I went back to NTB and they told me to come back tomorrow because the manager was off. The next day the manager called off sick. I called the corporate office and again I got a runaround. I was told by corporate to see the manager so I went back to NBT and I was told the manager was off and would be in tomorrow. The next day I went back to NTB and was told the manager was on vacation and his replacement didn't show up. Back to corporate, they connected me with the regional manager, he assured me he would be at NTB on Greentree Road the next day. For the seventh time I went back to NBT on Greentree Road. I certainly wasn't surprised when he wasn't there. I had already made an appointment with my attorney. Again I called corporate and told them I was going to my attorney and I will be wanting my towing fees and transportation to and from the Volkswagen dealer if I had to file suit. Immediately the corporate manager called the store and asked to talk to me, he said he was at another store and would be at the Greentree location shortly. I told him I wasn't coming back, I was going to my attorney. Only after the ridiculous run around did he tell the clerk to take $168.95 off my charge card. And why wasn't this done from the beginning? They were trying to rip me off and not pay for their incompetence. If they are too incompetent to change a battery, I can't imagine why anyone would use such an overpriced, incompetent, business for any car repair. I know I will never use or recommend National Battery and Tire. Being a National chain they should close the Greentree store or restaff it from the regional manager/store manager down.
